Hi, I was wondering if anyone thinks Link is going to die in Twilight Princess? I have a blog that has a post about it at
http://loz-metroid-and-more.blogspot.com/
so please read it and let me know if you think Link will die?
maybe... but i dont think so... maybe he is going to fail, but stoping Ganondorf... TP is the greatest game ever. The scenario MUST be good as well... if TP ends with the flood, thats not bad. this means that TP Link have stop Ganondorf by destroying Hyrule and... i cant hink ;D
If there is a game after it obviously not!
:-* Link is a KAMIKAZE! safe your selfs! ;D

But Link did not stop Ganondorf by destrying Hyrule. In the intro to Wind Waker, it sais that when the hero did not return to save Hyrule, that they prayd to the God's and then the God's flooded Hyrule.

What has that got to do with it? He can still die and there are more games. Think of it like Star Wars, Oni-Wan died in episode 4, and Yoda and Anikin died in episode 6, and then 3 more movies came out after that. So the games mite be like Star Wars, they mite not be released in order.
No double posting and I guess he could but chances are slim to none...but I think its less likely to happen if there is another game!
He could die in TP as there are multiple Link's that seem to be connected through blood line but if Nintendo do kill Link off it would have to be done well. I hate it in games where you win and then it shows a movie of you being killed and the game ending. You don't feel like you control what you do in the game, so if link does die, I hope he will die in a way that allows him to acomplish something (Saving people or giving hope... You know, hero stuff).

He means topic. Oh and just an update on the rules. You have to follow the rules Goriondoni, even if it is you who started the topic.
Yeah you arent that special...

I never saw a rule saying I could not post two times in a row.
Well maybe you should look again...

Where are the rules?
Somewhere in the announcments.
Look, this is WAY off topic.
You contradicted me and then you asked so I told you why you were wrong and answered your question whats so freakin' wrong about that!?
Nothing, but get back on topic.
Back on topic: Yes, Link will die someday. Maybe fighting for Hyrule, maybe not. But some day. If he is to go down courageously fighting for Hyrule, so be it.
http://desertcolossus.com/forum/index.php?board=12;action=display;threadid=4 (http://desertcolossus.com/forum/index.php?board=12;action=display;threadid=4) Here are the rules Goriondoin, and Yes he will die he can die from anything kay
Yes, but will he stay dead? Or will large words that say "Do you want to continue?" appear instead?
Now that's a good theory! :P
I think he will die in Twilight Princess. It all fits.
He'll die of old age. :o ;D

Nabooru, I have to disagree with that; After the AoL in 1988, Nintendo began to work on ALttP, which took place before AoL. There is no proof against it; they say right in the game.
Then, OoT is years before ALttP. OoT's story is about 4 years older than ALttP, never mind the release itself. And, the interveiwers of TP said that this is in between the time of WW and OoT, WW being made 3 years before TP. So, what I'm saying is, there's no spesific order that they took place.

then I said it was less likely to happen.
:-[ :( Sorry... yet again...
its ok
Been a long time. Seeing how Link did not die in Twilight Princess, a fact for witch I am very glad! I would like to know if enyone thinks he will die in the new Wii Zelda game?
The only way link will die is if LOZ goes the way of Kid Icarus and is canceled by Nintendo.
Hey, hey, guess what?
He does die; quite often if you wear the Zora Armour in the Snowpeak ruins!
You see, the game... couldn't continue if you died. I mean, what would happen?
Ganondorf: -stab- LOL U DED.
Link: I GUESS I AM.
Zelda: -GASP-
THE END.
It would be nice to control Zelda and kill Ganon after that, but it doesn't seem very likely for that to happen. o_o
If you/main character die in most games, the game ends, and you restart in a similar area.... that's just how it works.
Even though I've beaten the game, and I already know. Link can never die unless it's a Game Over. If Link were to die during a fight with Ganon, Ganon would win and all of his work would have been for naught.
Link will not die. From now on, he is going to be an immortal, and all Links in all games are going to be the same Link. Nintendo has come to this decision because a horde of fangirls have kidnapped Shigeru Miyamoto and threatened to kill him if Nintendo didn't turn Link into an omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent god with more deus ex machinae than every anime in existance and Whocares put together.
I love sarcasm. ;)
P.S. About the plural of Deus Ex Machina, I'm not sure what the plural part is. If Deus, then it would be Dei Ex Machina. If Machina, then it would be Deus Ex Machinae. Maybe to be safe, you could say Dei Ex Machinae.
Dei ex machinae sounds good. Let's go with that. *edits previous post*
Edit: Come to think of it, deus ex machinae sounds must better. *edits previous post again*
You're both quite incorrect.
Either Dei ex Machina or Dei ex Machinis are the accepted pluralizations. Depending on whether you want gods from the machine or gods from the machines, respectively. (http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p55/Commodore_Axilon/Forum%20Crap/teacher.gif)
Professor Commodore to the rescue! *cheers*

He does?
I've got an idea! (shoots Ganon in the back of the head while he's not looking) Bang. Dead. Done.
Considering the fact that \/\/ind \/\/aker Link is a distant descendant of the OoT/MM Link (splittists be damned), and that we're not sure where any (really) of the other Links fit into the timeline(s), it's safe to say that, even from an unavoidable standpoint, Link has died before, and will die again.
Now, as to whether or not the final Zelda game will end up zooming in on Link in an open casket, that is a matter of conjecture. (http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p55/Commodore_Axilon/Forum%20Crap/teacher.gif)
