OOT is the best Zelda game i have ever played! MM was good but nowhere as good as OOT. I mean your not just one age the whole game, there is a load of character development and it was not too easy like WW.
Tell me about it! Of the few... VERY few Zelda games that I've actually been able to beat, WW was even too easy for me, and OOT, which i beat with a friend, was extremely fun. Not only the best Zelda games, but probably one of my favorite games in all! Period. ;D
Personally i like both MM and OOT, OOT was excellent but seeing how i havent beat MM yet i cant say. I think its great so far but while im on the subject does any one know how to beat Skull Keeta im sooooooo stuck its unbeliveable?!? :'( so any help would be apprieciated thanks!!! ;D
I'm pretty sure you have to catch up with it and shoot it in the back with your arrows.
that is also my favorite game OF ALL TIME ;D.It was harder than alot of the games I ever played. which was cool because all my favorite games have a great chalange.
Meh, my favourite is AoL, closely followed by LoZ. Nothing beats the classics. ;D And what do you mean by charecter development. The charecters in that game barely had a personality.

He is right, saying characters don't have a character, mainly because Link talks really rarely.
But, he is wrong because most of the other characters add something from their caracter to the game.
To be on topic, I haven't played a lot of Zelda games (only OoT, OfS and LoL), but I am really sure OoT is the best.
The only game that made tears appear to my eyes. The only game that I didn't wanna die just beacuse I was affraid that Hyrule will be destroyed. The only game that made me love everything on it...
These are my favourite Zelda games:
Link's Awakening - Mainly for it's beautiful ending.
OoT - There is magic in this game that means that it is still a enjoyable to play today.
MM - The way the characters go about their lives, the way that Anju seeks shelter in the ranch with her grandmother on the final day. Makes them seem real.
WW - Ganon finally gets some back story behind him and makes him better as a character. The final fight, easy, but perfect and despite it's graphics one of the darkest Zeldas.
I like the story of OOT better, but Majora's mask had funner overall gameply. What's better than zipping around enemies with the Bunny Hood?

Also, the different arrows actually had a practical purpose, rather than a side quest thing. With the exception of the Light Arrows, of course.

Anyway, The XBox 360 is actually more powerfull than what the Rev.'s goanna be. Playstation is going to the top in powers, still PS3 is only hyped so it wont be as good as everyone thinks... And when they put the games on Blueray Disc's the games will cost about 30% more than they do now... nice huh?
Problem is, no one really needs BlueRay disc's for their games... If they need any better Discs HD Disc's will be good enough, with more than enough disc space... BlueRay is a bit far to go I think
And to the controller thing, my room wil look tornadoed when i get it...

They only say X-box 360 and PS3 will be more powerful, and not in what way. It could be in ways that does not affect gameplay at all.
And the GC was also going to be just a few more powerful than the N64. We cannot trust Nintendo on this. They are too humble. :P

Despite the deviation from the topic I am going to say Oot is Probably my favorite Zelda game, but like many said before, MM had much better gameplay. And this information is based on the Zelda games I'v played and beaten, which would be all of them except the 4 swords one and the windwaker( I don't have a Gamecube, although I am considering getting an emulator and a windwaker ROM.).

Yeah, so have I. I believe MQ was given out to people who preordered Wind Waker, and since I wasn't a Zelda fan at the time, I didn't receive a copy. :-\ Now I'm dying to have an excuse to beat OoT again...
Well, look at it this way, when Revolution comes out you'll be able to download OoT onto your Rev and play it from there.
Well, I have OoT on my N64, I'm just too lazy to go play it again. Plus I have the Collector's Edition for Gamecube, so a change of system doesn't help. Unless OoT has special content on Rev or it comes out on DS, I won't be playing it until I get MQ somehow...

So true! But DS can definitely handle OoT. I mean, it handled Super Mario 64 pretty well...
Regardless, I would take OoT on DS simply because it gives me that excust to play it again. Plus, it'd be cool to use the touch screen for the subscreens. I honestly think they should make MQ for the DS or something.
That and the added option of drawing on your dungeon map, like in PH. :)
I have all the Zelda games for consoles since OoT, and i don't play them untill one special time a' year. Which is the summer, when I got most of them...
