What was/is your most frustraiting moment in zelda gaming history?
Mine:
WATER TEMPLE! IM STILL THERE! SOMEONE SHOOT ME NOW! ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how about y'all? >:( >:( >:(
I had mine in the Goron Dungeon on the Moon in MM. Man, I was SO frustrated!
I agree. getting the piece of heart in Goron Dungeon took me 2 frustrating hours and it winds up i still didnt get all 20 hearts :'(
My frustrating moment was when I was fighting Onox for the first time.
Mine was the mountain level in aLttP.
The Goron Dance in OoA. Definitely. And it doesn't get any better when the dungeon right after is one of the worst dungeons in the series (much worse than the Water Temple). :'( And I've played AoL, so that says a lot.
Turtle rock in ALttP. ARGH!
Same here! Especially the 3rd key. This was before I learned of online walkthroughs.
Getting to the top of Snowhead to slaughter that stuipid machine, Goht
In OOT when you are in the fire temple there is a statue that you are supposed to smash with the megaton hammer at the start. If you stand next to the statue at the side and have a key then you can get in before you get the megaton hammer. I found this out by accident and saved thinking it to be a cool tip. Then I realised that I had wasted a key and couldn't get the megaton hammer that I needed. I had to erase my game and start again. FRUSTRATING!!!!
thats extremely frustrating and i had that happen to me whileplaying OoT previously. It was very annoying and i almost threw my N64 out the window.
Annoying... keep a backup file.
yea...too bad i realized that when i'd started for the second time :P

I agree with you about the Goron Dance and TAoL, but I thought Mermaid's Cave was okay. Then again, I love manipulating time with music. :D
manipulating time is one of the best things in any zelda game.... that reminds me of a time i accidently played the song of time while trying to play the inverted song of time which ruined my attempts to beat Stone Tower.
You're kidding, MasterKey! Man, I would probably kill myself if that happened to me! ;D :-*
COLLECTING ALLLL OF THE STRAY FAIRIES IN MM!
No MagmarFire, i'm afraid that horrific incident befell me... and it was so frustrating, i screamed so loud, my mom banned me from the N64 for a week!! >:( >:(
Oh, man, I pity you. :'(
She banned you for a week!? "Cruel and unusual punishment," says I!
Mine was when I went to the moon MM, beat all the mask dungeons and I spoke to the Majora's Mask kid. He gave me the mask, and I went back in time. I didn't have it anymore!!!! Then, becuase I used a walkthrough the entire game, I decided to beat MM without the mask, even though I went back to get it, and I was so angry that it was so tough! I was on the verge of extinction, I ran out of arrows! Luckily, one of those spin top things exploded next to it, so it was stunned, and I killed it. Then, I went back and fought it with the mask: didn't take me two minutes. I was angry at myself!
Yeah, that happened to me once, unfortunately. :'(
I didn't even think about fighting Majora without the Fierce Deity Mask on.
On my second play through for MM, it took me longer to defeat Odolwa than on my first time fighting him.
Yes, it was a very crule and unusual punishment, MagmarFire. :'(
Another moment: it took me like an hour to kill morphs. stupid ameoba wouldnt DIE! >:(
grrr.. that stupid stone tower temple in majora's mask >:( >:( >:(
That's my house you're talking about. >:(
;D
Stone tower temple= a massive headache and loads of anger and frustration for me. >:(

Morpha was EZ!
I hated the spirit temple or at least its difficulty.
nah, i kinda breezed through the spirit temple.

Cruel and unusual punishment
Actually, real punishment is when my mom asked me to look out the window to see if our neighbor was outside, and I said yes without looking, and she looked and no one was there and I got grounded for two weeks from the Gamecube and Computer!
Okay, I partially take what I said back... :-*
That is very cruel and very unusual. It makes my punishment sound like a tiny time out. I feel bad for you, man! :'( :'(
ugh!
Water Temple
Stone tower temple
snow head temple
the goron quest for the oni link mask.
Well, I'm glad someone finally agrees with me on the Goron Dungeon in MM. ;D
I assume you mean the Goron Dungeon on the moon. It is rather frustrating.

Mine was the water temple.I couldn't find the key to get to shadow link.(I beat the game though!Yayyyyyyy!)
Dark Link was frustrating, but it was a fun kind of frustration, the kind you wouldn't mind feeling. Dark Link was such a fun fight. I hope he returns to frustrate me in TP.
yesss....i would love to kill my eviul alter ego again...though he made me very angry at times...
Eh, he's easier if you use Din's Fire on him repeatedly. :)
Oh, and going though the Shadow Temple was probably one of my most frustrating moments; my sister would never turn the volume down to mute level so I wouldn't have to hear any ReDead's screech of death! :-*
I only use my sword on dark link cuz its funner to have a sword fight even if ti is more difficult!
Killing gyorg was very frustrating for me :'(
Stupid Gyorg. I am not food, stop trying to eat me.
:P
Oh, don't remind me...! It was quite hard to beat, even with fairies with you! :-X
ganons castle, when you have to light the torches with the fire rod.i kept falling...
beating misery mire dungeon for the first time... :-*

I only need one faerie.
That will probably frustrate some people. ???
The Earth Temple in TWW, I'm still stuck.....CURSE THOSE MIRRORS!!!!! And Vaati is kind of hard in Minish Cap, it's because of the Darknuts that you have to beat before you go battle him.... :-[
darknuts...they frustrate me althe time...i hate them so much >:(
I find fighting the Dark Nuts relatively easy when you balance using Remote Bombs and the Roc's Cape for jumping over them. :)
I never thought of that strategy. I always use the Great Spin Technique and just cirlce around them.
I need to try that technique. Nice thinking!
they're actually easier to kill in TWW with Parry attacks. Speaking of which, the Savage Labrynth in TWW was kinda annoying.it was very long.
But think of the rewards that come from it!
I love the parry attack. I'd say my most frustrating moment in my Zelda history is not being able to play TWW.
mine is losing my file in OoT once....arggh and i had just beaten the Forest Temple!!!!!!!!! >:(
ouch. Thats gotta suck. Another one of my frusterating zelda moments was in the thieves Hideout in a link to the past. For some reason, I ended up calling Nintendo for asistance. :P I was young though, so maybe thats it.
There a thieves' hideout? Where?
It's the fourth Dark World dungeon in ALttP.
My most frustrating time was in OoT in the Gerudo Training Ground. I was at the part where you have to jump from rock to rock over lava to get the white rupees. I must have fallen like a hundred times and had to start over each time. I got so mad that I couldn't play for a few days!!! I was screaming!!! :-*
Mine would be Stone Tower in MM
