There isn't a Gamecube version.  And technically, if you use the create a character right, you can make a pretty good replica of Link.

I found that there wasn't one, I was just waiting for people to post here, so I could tell them, but why didn't they make one for gamecube?

I thought it was a nintendo game?

It was originally an arcade game, and all nintendo games have the nintendo logo in the intro which SC didn't.

Yes, just because a game is on the Nintendo, doesn't make it a Nintendo game.

Spoilers for Soul Calibur 3 plot.

In Soul Calibur 2, When Raphael challenges Nightmare, Nightmare defeats him.  But as Nightmare is about to deliver the finishing blow, Siegried starts to wage war against Nightmare in his head.  Taking advantage of Nightmare's conflicted state, Raphael pierces the eye of Soul Edge with his Flambert.  When this happened, Siegfried managed to reclaim his body, and the soul of Soul Edge managed to escape into the now bodiless Nightmare.

Soul Edge remained in Nightmare's armorless body for quite some time until "The man with the scythe" came.  He performed  a ritual to animate Nightmare and gave new life to Nightmare.  But Soul Edge's new body was unstable.  It has to absorb souls to maintain itself.

As for Siegried, he wonders the world in hopes to redeem himself for the acts he committed as Nightmare.  When he hears of "The Azure Knight's" return, he sets out in search to settle the conflict.

Raphael was affected by his battle.  Shards of Soul Edge became part of Raphael.  He returned to his foster daughter Amy, and collapsed.  Amy tended to his wounds, but became infected by the presence of Soul Edge as well.  Raphael and Amy are now isolated from the world.  So, in his twisted logic, Raphael decides to spread his evil transformation to the world.

Link is much more powerful in soulcalibur 2 than in SSB, did anyone else notice that? I mean, his moves are more deadly.

Well you have to take into account the amount of health characters have in Soul Calibur.
Title: Re:soulcalibur2
Post by: MasterKeyX on June 30, 2006, 05:47:43 PM
well, in SSb, the health count can be either 120% if you're unlucky or 250% if you're lucky. it all depends on the percent you get KO'd on. In soulcalibur2, the health is only up to 200% or infinity, so it's kind of different.
