Mags: Eh, I'll archive the past warnings later, when the number of warnings becomes a bit unwieldy.
yes that would be useful! sometimes i lose track. let it be known that every month the warnings are erased and every one starts with a clean slate. At least thats what i picked up in one of jacks posts while spring cleaning. Also i believe that 4 warnings in one month means someone is getting banned. I dont know if jack has changed his rules since then, buit i will have to ask.
Three in a month is a banning. All warnings go away the first of the month.
lol! that clears things up! Remeber these and youll all be safe from jacks wrath! :-[ :o
Do not defy the great leader's rights!
So everybody has 0 warning right now?
But I have a question. What if somebody abuses this system and gets 2 warnings a month only to get 0 at the first of the month.
If that would happen, I'd suggest giving him/her a warning that will take longer to nullify, and if it continues...well, you get the idea.
i guess we will just have to have faith in our members so as to not cheat the system. if they do, the warnin list will show that. im going to modify the list right now.

It'll be quite apparent that they're a constant nuisance and gaming the system and they will dealt with harshly. Like... fired out of a cannon and into the sun.
Sounds fair. Good call Jack.
as long as it's not me fire away jack
Even though everyone here is pretty nice
How about we move this to the announcements section and constantly edit the first post and add warnings as they come with links to the threads and everything?
Sounds like a good idea. And we can edit it at the beginning of the month and repeat the process.
Done.
So i see you moved this to the announcements page, good thinking.
Yeah, we'll use this page to modify everybody's warnings over the months.
By giving warnings thats taking awy freedom of speech which is garanteed by the constintution there for we are all wrong ;D
there is(are?) two ways to say everything.
Makes no sence!! ;D
All though I can't make this decision, I know that if you break to many rules, you're banned. I can give warnings in the General Discussion. I'm not sure if I can outside of the GD, though. Also, we have July Warnings now.

This isn't a federal institution of the government, nor is it a public establishment as defined in consitutional law. The Constitution does not apply here.
(sorry, law geek moment)
For anyone who might read this, the October warnings are up.
Wow, this is probably the one month the most warnings EVER were given on TDC! That isn't good.
November Warnings up. Oh, and because this is a locked topic, and only mods are allowed to post here and it's important for us mods, we're not breaking rules if we double post HERE.
Ok, thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
January warnings up.
they've been up a little while now ;)
I mean warnings actually being there. ::)
I see. I notice cussing is a common issue. I even gave myself a warning for it once.
I should know, I had to clean up your cussing (mainly the p word) a few times. ;D
lol! If you mean the alternative for pee, or you really p*** me off? I dont view that as a bad word, but ok.
You never got warnings from me for it (which is a mystery to me), but I do clean them up.
Update Post! This doesn't count as a double post!
I've created the new 'Warnings Archieve' topic. Before you erase the warnings, please save them in the archieve for future references.
I think this may be a record month for warnings. Though most of the warnings seem to come from spam...
Ignore the double post. August warnings are up and July warnings have been stored away.
I think it may be one idea to put the date a person gets a warning and have said warning expire after 30 days... I'm not sure how everyone would take it, but it may allow more discipline and make the original idea of 'reward after a time of good behavior' more true to reality of action.
Yes, that would certainly take care of the people who are horrible at the end of every month...
Ok, that rule will go into effect starting with the next warning.
not a bad idea my boy!
One thing I'd like to add, just to avoid the forgetfulness of the thing, let's also put the date the warning expires up there.
Warning: All rule breakers will be disintegrated....and fined.
Ignore the double post.
Is it possible to post what topic the warning was received in? It would make things a bit easier to see where and why the warning was given.
Yeah, it would be. It may take a while for me to get into the habit, but it's a good suggestion.
Just copy and paste the URL into the warnings and put it into url code like so
See here

Yeah, I already know how to; I meant that it might take me a while to remember to do it every single time. But thanks just the same. :)
Sorry to bump this, but it really needs to be closer to the top than it is; it's one of the most important topics.
