Which tunic did you like best from beating the Color Dungeon?
I liked the Red Tunic,the best defense is always a good offense,but the blue tunic is fine...
P.S for those of you who don't know what these two tunics are,Red doubles your attack power so you can kill enemies faster,while Blue doubles your defense,meaning enemies must hit you more to kill you.
I picked blue, that way I could last longer against the tougher versions of the Final Nightmare.
When I first played the game it didn't have a colo(u)r dungeon or that photo shop. After playing the DX version I can't imagine fighting against the Final Nightmare without the blue tunic.
I liked the Blue Defense, but I always liked the Blue Tunic in Zelda games for some reason. Besides, defense is the best offense ;D

the best offense is a good defence! thats what i always say. besides i like to be able to take a hit so that there is room for error. besides i like blue better than red :D you know what my favorite color is though?...............green ;)
i hate defence so i'm all red!!!
(plus my fave color is blood red)

when i first played this it was on the SNES and at the time it was my favorite its still my top 5 but the BLUE tunic RULES :D
The Best Defense is to Know Your Enemy... Allowing you to devise a best strategy for defeating him.
I chose tunics depending on the boss as trial and error. I chose for example, the red tunic to use against
[spoiler]Evil Eagle. The eagle flies by three time before unleashing its wingflaping wind and killer feathers. With the red tunic and quick use of the L-2 Sword, the Evil Eagle can be dispatched before he reaches the wingflapping stage. I also use the red tunic on Slime Eel. To avoid the 8 slahes you must deliver to defeat this menace the rt makes short work of it.
Conversely the blue tunic works wonders if you're like me and had a hard time with Smasher. I finally figured out how to beat the little b*****d. The Blue help alot to fend off his blows.[/spoiler]
At any rate it's a fun thing to have in the game for those of us not seeking to establish the land speed record for defeating the game rather to enjoy what is to be enjoyed about Zelda Series games.
I must admit though it was a fiendish mind that came up with those tile fill-in floors for the keys. FIENDISH!

Red all the way. Couple it with the L-2 sword and the power is incredible.
Yay! It took me two seconds to beet that Moldorm Shadow the Final Nightmare turns into! ;D
