Vaati wanted Zelda to be his bride in Four Swords, and I KNOW she's way to young for him. Why would he want to marry her? Thet's just creepy. :o
First, this would be better suited in the Four Swords board. Second, some old men are creepy like that. ???
Yeah, but it's rated E, which means NO creepy perves. :o
That's only if extremes are crossed. Which hasn't been done here.
I wonder why Vaati wasn't disqualified when he used magic instead of a sword in the sword-fighting tournament. :-\
The story in the manuel says, "He has won the tournament with an almost magical ease,..." He most likely did use a sword. Vaati probably didn't show any signs that he was using magic.
SOME men are pigs,ESPECIALLY old guys! :PPerves are lonely ugly people that live with 100+ cats. ;D
Four Swords shouldn't have had that. :P
Yeah, this is a quote that Homer said, "I always thought cats were for losers who live in apartments." I think that the humanoid-Vaati looks better.
Hey I have cats! >:( well how do we know that Vaati's old? when he was sealed in the 4 sword he was 17 (or around that age.) He couldn't have aged in the 4 sword becuase he was locked in there for 100's of years and he would died if he got out. I wouldn't mind getting kidnapped by the human Vaati. :)
Wouldn't he have died while he was sealed away? Unless it was like he was frozen or something.
Magical prisons usually don't allow their prisoners to age. It's an unwritten rule.
Besides, he's at least still part Minish and we don't know how they age. We also don't know how old Vaati is, both real and physical. I don't think he's a perv.
I'd hope not.
Vaati is not a perv! *Hugs Vaati doll* I LOVE YA VAATI! :) :D ;D
He's a pervert.
Okay, let's get this straight. First, I'm going to contradict what I said earlier, but I think someone somewhere said Vaati probably didn't age while he was in the Four Sword. So anyway, Vaati's a pervert because he likes women? Let's just label every grown man a pervert then. Because hey, guys like gals. That's pretty much a given. And do we actually know what he does with them that would make him a pervert?
Ya what Hi no Seijin said. Vaati's cool! :)
Neah, Vaati would be a perv because of the supposedly huge age difference, or because he wanted to marry someone who didn't want to marry him. Reason 1 has died a few posts earlier. Reason 2, well he certainly isn't the first. And hey, human form Vaati's got the looks to make it a lot less bad. ^^
I do fear however that his memory has been severly damaged during his time in the sword. If he can't see the resemblance between what he has in his paw and the girl that still had part of the light force when he was defeated, or between the kid with the cap and the kid with his former master on his head, we can pretty much say he might not be fully aware what he's doing.
Vaati rules!!!
When Vaati was injured badly by Link(When you beat his second form) he was upset that the Light Force didn't give him enough power to beat a kid. So he got insane and transformed to his final form which made him want power and oddly enough, force women to marry him. So Vaati had gotten insane and forgot about everything that happened in MC.
Really? I wouldn't know because I haven't quite beaten him yet.
I have.. and I didn't know that!
Where does it say that he forgot everything that happened in MC? Just wondering.
It's an assumption. There's no hard evidence in the game, so you have to go with what you think would've happened to Vaati after being beaten by a kid.
I think the main reason he wanted to marry Zelda was for the royal position.Think about it, he marries a princess, he gains a seat of power.then, the KIng has an unfortunate accident, and vaati rules Hyrule.*sips tea* :-\elementary,my dear Watson
Why be a king when he could be a god? Or almost like a god. In MC Vaati said, and I quote, "I will become like a god!" Or something like that.
Uh, people, Zelda's just hot, is a magic user and has a good position in Hyrule's society. I'm certain he's not the first to want to marry her. :) And even gods can get lonely. ;)
Well, no one knows how old Vaati really is, but I'm guessing it's like 15 or 16. And Zelda is like, 12 or something. So there's not that big of an age difference.
It's a bit scary though, if he wants to marry a 12-year old. I think she's older, about 16. I usually assume Link and Zelda to be about sixteen.
Then it wouldn't be that gross if Vaati wanted to marry her. But then again, no one will ever know their real ages.

That's around the age I usually put Link and Zelda also.
To Vaati, if Nintendo wants their ages to be known, they're tell us. So everyone could potentially know their ages. I just doubt that Nintendo will tell us, but they are tricky little devils, known to completely blow us out of the water by breaking all expectations.
Yeah, I read pretty much all the stuff in TDC's compendium. And it sounds pretty reasonable, but it's not all true, most likely, only their idea of what everything is. It all puzzles me. :-\

Because,he tried the God thing, remember? He was defeated by a kid and his former master.NOw, if he were the King,he would have all the army at his control to go take out Link, in which case afterwards he could become a godly king,or knigly god, whichever you prefer, without any worries.
I can't figure out how to beat his sorcerer form in MC. :(
Well its kind of mideival-ish and 13 year old girls would often be married to like 50 year old guys then.
*shudders* :P I'm so glad I'm living in the 21st century! :)
I saw this Zelda manga comic somewhere but it was in Spanish. :'( But I could kinf of tell what was going on, Link's walking through the woods, then Vaati comes by and cuts down all the trees with his magic.
Oh, there are enough sites that have english translations available.Try Zeldalegends.net, or search around with google.
And manga = comic. No need to say manga comic. :)
Thanks, LadyNintendo! I've been trying to find an English version for so long! :) I also found a manga for Four Swords, but it's in Japanese, and it's not on the website that you shwed me. I only want to read to the Vaati part. (You can probably guess why) :D
