I would like to take a moment and reflect on what happened here in America five years ago, the horrific event that brought out the best of this country. God Bless America.
It's sad how people would rather resort to violence to get what they want. If people would realize that talking things out will work if both parties are cooperative, maybe the world would be a better place.
Yes, it was a terrible event. I can't believe people talk about those terrorists as martyrs. Martyrs dont kill innocent people.
I am very sad and angry however I think bush is overdoing and saying we are all mad we should still be in Iraq when the truthis we have been in Iraq for 5 years and still havent gotten much done.
Well today to show remembrance i came in with a soldier's uniform on.
We did do something we set up a democratic government and that's a lot.

Amen.
We will never forget here in New York... God rest their souls..
I must say that that deed five years ago was awful. Just plain awful and heartbreaking.
That event will go down in history. Heroes and enemies were born that day. May the heroes' souls be at peace. 8) :'(
you could've watched several documentaries on History Channel if you turned it on.
To remember today, I rented Farenheit 911, and laughed.
Also, a friendly warning to Nabooru and Link104. This is not a thread to start a debate. This is solely for the rememberance of those who died on 9/11.
Oops my bad, I wasnt trying to start one.
OMG, my school didn't even take a second to remember them, my school freakin sucks! Why didn't we take time to remember them?
We only technically did in homeroom but not really.
Now we know that there is no truth anymore. And I cannot help but feel disillusioned because of what's going on now.
Let God have mercy on their souls, for I know that I have not had the same favor as they.
Even 5 years later... I don't know... I just feel even more lost now.
every single school should have a moment of silence for 9/11, and if they dont, that is extremely rude and disrespectful to those who lost their lives on that day.
Yep thats us.
Well, I watched a documentary, and it was crazy! The cameraman did an exelent job. he kept having to wipe off his camera because the dust was so thick. We had to stand for a moment of silence at my school, and there was a big announcement. You wouldnt believe some of things "America's trained chimp in a suit" said the other day on national TV. OHH he burns me up >:(
We didnt do anything in way of remembrance at school.
Not to start arguing over but I was angry when Bush was talking about the war in Iraq on 911. I think it should have been a day of pure remembrance not using it as an excuse to justify his action in Iraq. But, that is just an oppinion of mine.
That is kinda what I said earlier, but we shallnt start debates now.
you can debate in another topic, if you want. But not this one.
