Seriously, who IS Ralph?
Childhood friend and protector of Nayru, Oracle of Ages. (SPOILERS) He's a descendent of Queen Ambi. His sword skills don't seem to be all that good, what with Link training him in the credits. (SPOILERS end)
Is Ralph really shrouded in mystery? Do you mean is he human or Hylian? Hard to tell when his hair is in the way.
I've never played an Oracle game, so I don't know who anyone is.

Don't you just love the internet?
Thanks for that! ;)
Ralph is related to Pigpen, cuz he always has a cloud of dust behind him.
lol. Or my nephew! ;D
Ralph, at the end, when he trains with Link, (a sword master, so it's no wonder he trains with him) he attepts to do the spin attack, put just spins around the screen and falls down failing. He doesn't know advanced moves (spin attack is advanced, a 2 out of five chance learning it for every swordsman), but that doesn't mean he's bad.
Ametures. ::) ;D
His level is level 4 out of five, he is strong, but he's so far concerned with protecting Nayru he doesn't train much. Also, if the OOA game is completed as a linked game after OOS, then it appears...
a) Ralph and Nayru had children and got married
b)just had children
c)got married and ran into children on the street, most likely.
I wouldn't be surprised if they got married and had children, but just because they're walking down a street together doesn't make them married.
Well, it seems like they will be one day, and it might not be the immediate future.
Very true. It all depends on the player's point of view.
Like I said, I've never played an Oracle game, so I have no idea what you guys are talking about. ;D
I haven't played them either, but I know what they're talking about. :)I need to know a fair share of the Oracle games too if I want to make good theories..
Or to find out if it's worth buying, too.
i don't like ralph he's annoy's me
Is he like Navi annyoing? Or something else?
Ralph isn't really annoying. He's just really protective when it comes to Nayru.

Link may be smart, but every now and then he may need a push in the right direction.
Exactly. Take a look at OOT, for example. He's an idiot.
Eh, I wouldn't call any of the Links idiots. But then, that's just me.
Well, at least in the stories that members put on TDC.
That's only one writer's perspective. If it works for Link to be an idiot in that particular story, then so be it. But I myself do not need Link to be an idiot.
Links not an idiot well he could be bump and he cant talk he just nods his head or says ..........Link (or what ever name you put) he probly did'nt even go to school .In OoT we dont even no what he was up to inbetween the 7 years .
Um, yeah, we do know what Link was up to during the seven years between when he was a kid and an adult. He was in the Sacred Realm sleeping because he wasn't old enough to be the Hero of Time.
he could've just slept in his normal house
I don't think he ever got to choose. Rauru was kind enough to explain things only afterwards.
Okay. Link drew the Master Sword. As soon as he pulled it out, he was taken to the Sacred Realm. He went to sleep. He did not wake up until seven years had passed, so he pretty much couldn't go back to his home in Kokiri Forest. Rauru is obviously bound to the Sacred Realm, so he couldn't take Link back to his house. And why waste the energy to send the Hero of Time back to his house, especially seeing how Rauru needed Link to be nearby so he could tell Link what he had to do to defeat Ganon?
yes but when link pulled the master sword out seven years went by and he got to see that man Ruaru (howerver you spell it ) and they talked then link went down to hyrule.
Okay, if you think that's a counterpoint to what I just said, then no. You just completely agreed with what I said. Link does return to Hyrule seven years after he pulled the Master Sword.
You know, he has a point as always. You really did agree with him entirely.
Anyway, this somewhat sapm in the topic has gone on long enough. Back to Ralph, please.
Ralph rocks. One of my favorite characters in Zelda, behind Tingle and Midna. He's a hero, like Link, but more stubborn and talkative.
Link isn't given speaking roles, so the only thing we hear him say is "Come On!" in TWW when he tries to make things follow him. He could speak alot for all we know.
