What your favorite adult dungeon in OOT? Not easiest or hardest, funest.

My favorite was the fire temple, the dancers were pretty neat, my favorite weapon is in there, the megatons hammer. Finaly Volgaria was awsome and a challange to fight.

Definately Fire, I have supreme issues with the Forest temple, but I also liked the water temple. The spirit temple wasn't too bad either. But none were as good as the fire.

Fire as well. It was the least hair-pulling-worthy and least disturbing. All around very fun.

I love the music in the Fire Temple.  I listen to it a lot on midis.  It has a creepy tone to it, and that leads me to say that I like the Shadow Temple, it is so dark and eerie.  I think it has good music too.  

HEATHENS! Your bloody fire temple holds not a candle to the unbearable heavenlyness of the Spirit temple. Two words, Iron-Knuckles. Need I say more? ( Dylan's note: Don't say yes! He will say more. And more. And more...)

Hm... I kind of like the Water Temple, despite the frustration in the puzzle-ness of it. I say that it was just beautiful, especially (and you will all agree) the part just before you fight mirror link. Oh yes. And Morpha, though stressful, is just such a cool boss.

For the other Temples that I saw enough of to make a good opinion:

Forest: Temples with lots of with Ceiling/Wall Masters make me shudder...
Fire: Personally, the Fire Dancers took my sister and I forever to figure out, drove us nuts. The bits with fake walls and fire leave strong memories in my mind... oh so chaotic, in a great (but frenetic) Zelda way.
Shadow: I'm a wimpy type of person, need I say more? (No)
Spirit: Well... spirit was a good one, amid freaky eye-opening suns and switches... but I haven't seen enough of it to say much. Just the kid Link half. ^^

I thought Morpha was one of the easyest bosses, Dark Link was much harder than it, ecspecialy when you dont have any more magic for Dins fire.

Hm... I found that for Mirror Link, there's just one weapon that he can't imitate... don't remember what it was. Megaton hammer maybe? Or maybe our game had a glitch... after all, it is a gold cartridge ^___^.

My all time favorite dungeon was the fire temple probably because I'm with dragons (like Volvagia) but not not as much as I am with Zelda games.

My favourite adult dungeon is without a doubt the Forest Temple. I have a thing for forests. ;D

I prefer the fire temple so far I'm just getting into the water temple... ::)....I think I wouldlike the spirit temple...I hate the forest temple...Phantom Ganon is cool, but a pain in the tush... ;D

I would either have to say the Fire temple, mainly for my love of dragons and the Spirt temple for the Iron Knuckles. I've never had so fun as I had when back-flipping over an axe that could take away half my hearts.  ;)

Agreed, the Iron Knuckles were pretty cool. That's one of the things I liked about Wind Waker, the combat system and how fun it was when fighting the tough enemies like the IK's, how'd you'd counter and jump behind them and slap off their armor. Iron Knuckles have always been a fun enemy to fight.

The Shadow Temple was awesome.  Need I say more?  I'm a dark kind of person, but fun in a morbid way.  Ok, maybe not, but I just like them temple.

I like the Shadow Temple most,Bongo-Bongo looks cool,the music's so creepy it was awesome,and the dungeon's overall huge.I love that part when you get on a boat and have to fight a pair of Stalfoses,then the boat sinks in the end and you had to hover away to the next room.My ratings would be:

Ranks:1-10.1:Laaaame,2:Rather lame,3:Not-so-Lame,4:Decent,5:Superior.
Forest Temple:1/5-This was too easy,I had very little probs with the Wallmasters and the Poe Sisters were mincemeat in two minutes for me.OK fine,the purple Sister and Phantom Ganon are another story,but the puzzles aren't very difficult...at least not if you're smart...

Fire Temple:5/5-This dungeon is titanic,I tell you.I had a bit of a problem with the Flare Dancer,but when I knew how to beat them,I killed the second one in a minute.I also had a problem with that part when you have to hit a switch and climb the ladder,but oh well.I made it,anyway.Volvagia is a really fun boss,altough he's quite easy.Awesome dungeon.

Water Temple:3/5-This dungeon is,at least for me,the hardest and most confusing.It's huge,altough not quite as "huge" as the Fire Temple.The puzzles were awesome,too.But the enemies were dead easy,and Morpha is quite a disappointment,because those tentacles are easily disintegrated by using Din's Fire and the red ball is easy to kill if you've got the Biggoron's Sword-the only enemy worth fighting was Dark Link,and he's no prob if you pummel him with the Megaton Hammer,either,since he can't mimic that.Overall,good dungeon with fun puzzles,but there's a big lack of decent enemies.

Bottom Of The Well:1/5-This "dungeon" is a huge disappointment for me.It was tiny,and other than the hidden holes,it's pretty much nothing.The only small key was VERY easy to get,the only real foe was the Green Bubble,and Dead Hand is a disgrace of a boss.The only "challenging" room was B1,where there's green acidic water,Redeads,the Dungeon Map and Silver Rupees to collect...but you gotta go here as a kid for the Lens Of Truth,anyways...

Shadow Temple:5/5-My fave.Awesome music,dangerous puzzles,and tough foes a.k.a Stalfoses,an easy mini-boss a.k.a Dead Hand,and also a place where what you see can deceive you.The music was freaky,it was like having a deadly orchestra play and a fearsome assasin stalk you,day and night...Bongo-Bongo was a good boss,and he put up a good fight against me,but hey,I overcame him after five tries...

Spirit Temple:4/5-Good dungeon.Big size,tough enemies *coughIronKnucklecough*,and that Anubis enemy was super annoying,however easy they're killed.The Iron Knuckles gave me major trouble,it's like trying to break a boulder as a puny kid with your bare hands.At least it was worth the Silver Gauntlets and Mirror Shield...Twinrova was easy,but her second stage-when the witches combine-gave me a good bit of trouble.But ya gotta overcome these bosses eventually...which I did fulfill.

Ganon's Castle:5/5-Awesome.Totally awesome.The Light Barrier took a long time for me to complete,but I had started with Shadow Barrier first-the Golden Gauntlets and Double Defense Gift are very helpful!In the tower,the Dinalfoses-tougher versions of the Lizalfos with more health and a higher speed-was fun,though as easy as writing "hi".Then there's Iron Knuckles...again...and eventually Ganondorf himself.He was a big toughie,but Ganon was slightly easier.

I would have to go with Ganon's Dungeon. I that is was overall the best one. Shadow Temple was probably the hardest one, but I absolutely hated it.

Er... after you beat Bongo Bongo you get the Shadow Medallion, yes? A piece of heart to top it off, as well?

Ummm....Bongo Bongo turns into shadowy blue stuff and sinks into the drum......

It's funny when you jump off the boat onto the platform and Navi still says "The boat is sinking! Hurry up and get off!"

Ganon's Castle  
Once all six barriers are destroyed, return to the entrance of the main room, cross the small bridge and enter doorway of the center tower. Go up the steps and enter the door. Defeat the Dinalfos enemies and enter the next door. Go up the steps, enter the door and defeat the Stalfos enemies. Open the big treasure chest for the Boss Key and enter the door. Go up the steps, enter the door and defeat the two Iron Knuckle knights. Enter the door, go up the steps and enter the Boss Door. Go right, enter the door and go up the steps, then enter the next door to find the Boss, Ganondorf.

I just did the Water Temple using TDC's game guide, and I thought it was actually really cool.  That guide helped me a lot, and I was able to enjoy the Temple more.  Besides it being a pain in the ass to take those boots on and off it was fun.  I loved the room with Dark Link.  I beat Morpha too, without a scratch. :)

Water Temple is by far the most tedious Zelda dungeon ever (because of the constant boot switching).

Oh yes... the boot switching. That, and the switch-switching. Lots of circling and re-cricling around the rooms. *fond memory*

Did anyone stand underneath the grating in that one room and then hit the switch across the room (with the hookshot), sending a whole bunch of baddies right onto your head? ^^ Funny moment there.

Yes! I did that so many times (mostly because I always forgot a Tektite was up there).

I completely am on the Spirit temple side. I love it's music, I like how you get there and I love it's level of mystery

Oh, and another plus for the Water Temple that's worth its weight in gold...

No ceiling/wallmasters (to the extent of my knowledge)! *cheers*

Haha! But now that you mention it... maybe the Fire Temple is *master free? Doing a Ctrl-Find on TDC's walkthrough for it comes up empty ^^.

I agree with all who like the spirit temple, the music is great, the puzzles are interesting, the enemies tough and to top it all off there is Twin Rova who I think it the BEST boss!

I also like the Shadow temple. It has a hard boss that can be tricky at times. I prefer it over all the others except for the Spirit temple.

Yeah, the temple was hard, so I expected a hard boss too. But Bongo-Bongo was really easy.

I thought he was hard, but I'm retarded.  I hated how I couldn't shoot the bow in first person because each little bounce would kick you out of that mode.

Naw, you're not retarded ^^. It's a true fact that OOT is about a willion times harder if you do everything in first person view, though. At least you beat him eventually.

my favorite has to go to(drum roll please).............................THE SPIRIT TEMPLE!! i liked the egyptian layout and sound track. fighting the annubis's was fun, and the boss was awsome!

P.S. an easter egg in Majoras Mask is that the witch sisters work at a potion shop and boat tours in the swamp. ;)

Well I'm sorry but all you out there are idiots, Ganon's Castle has a bit of every dungeon, I mean it even includes a Light Dungeon. What more can I say on that except everyones happy, plus the music in the tower is cool and you fight some pretty cool enemys up there lik Iron Knuckles and Stalfos. Ganondorf and Ganon are also 2 of the coolest bosses in any game i've ever seen... :D

Every dungeon? It doesn't have the Deku Tree, Dodongo's Cavern, Jabu-Jabu's Belly or the Ice Cavern. :P

Yes I realise that but you must remember they are child dungeons, whilst this poll is about dungeons you visit as an adult. I would agree them 3 are great dungeons but they wouldn't go in with Ganon's Castle somehow however Ganon's Castle seems to beat every other one for me, although I agree with Fire and Spirit Temples for there bosses..

forest temple was good, i have not finished the game (on water templ, over 10 weeks and still there)

Jabu Jabu is easy, almost finishes itself. Water temple is the only Dungeon on OoT who takes some time. Damn I hate to swich between Kokiri Boots and Iron Boots...

And the water level is bothering, takes so damn long!

The Boomerang is in the room where there are a LOT of stingers, or bubbles... Can't remember 100%... But I'm pretty sure it's in a room with stingers...

my favorite adult dungeon is prolly the spirit temple because I like gerudo vally, desert themes, the enemies the boss, everything!! I also liked the shadow temple. Blood decorated the walls...

I wasn't that keen on the Shadow Temple, the spirit Temple seemed to short for the last dungeon. U are all gonna hate me but I've grown fond of the water temple. It has Dark Link and Morpha who are ace, It is challanging and It is different

I love the Spirit Temple as well, ZV. It really brings out the mysteriousness of the Desert Colossus; by "it" I mean the music and the different types of lighting and decor in the temple. Too bad you have to do a lot just to get to it. Twinrova wasn't that hard the first time I fought them, either.

Oh and the Water Temple is the only dungeon in both games to realy challange and frustrate me, I like that lol

The Spirit Temple and the Forest Temple rule! However, I didn't like it when they made the central temple room in the Forest Temple to be very dim when all the torches go out.

Yeah, it is! However, I wish that we used its reflecting abilities more often than just in the Spirit Temple.

I think the forest temple is the best.

Well, I'd have to say that I like the Spirit Temple best, if only because of process of elimination. The Forest Temple scared me; so did the Fire Temple and Shadow Temple. :-\ Ganon's Tower was too easy, and the Water Temple was too annoying. So... yeah. Spirit Temple was best for me...  ;D

You're not alone; I HATE the Shadow Temple, too. In fact, I usually have an urge to turn the volume on my TV to mute level whenever I enter places that have dead people in them.

I may have chosen Fire Temple, but I like all of them (with the exception of the Water Temple)!  The Forest Temple has this eerie music that commands respect.  Volvagia was an awesome boss.  The only part of the Water Temple I like is Dark Link.  He's hard to beat, but he's fun to fight against.  I love how nothing is as it seems in the Shadow Temple, and I wish I have my own pair of Hover Boots.  The Spirit Temple also commands respect and it has the Iron Knuckles.  Strange how the harder the enemy is to defeat, the more I like it (ugh, I can't stand Keese).  Although, I don't get why Twinrova rose up to heaven when they died.  I'd have thought they would've gone the opposite direction.

To MagmarFire: Yeah, I turned up the Brightness setting on my TV when I got to the Forest Temple, and I haven't turned it back down since. That was... two years ago, heh.

To Hi No Seijin: Ugh, the Forest Temple's music freaked me out. I remember my friend came over on a school night once, and we were playing the Forest Temple, but he left around 7:00 PM when it had already gotten dark, and I couldn't keep playing. I was too freaked out to continue, heh.

I only vote Forest Temple because Shadow Temple is tough.

I guess it's because the Shadow Temple is creepy. Everyone could probably agree with you.

The temples don't really creep me out that much anymore.  The trick is to look at them as ancient structures that demand respect.  After all, their original purpose couldn't be for evil (with teh exception of the Shadow Temple, but that could have changed when the Sheikah entered the service of the Royal Family).

True, but after Ganondorf messed with them, their new purpose WAS for evil, so, I rest my case.

It was sort of on topic.  We were taking other works and applying it to TLoZ.

I can see how the Forest Temple is related to the Shadow Temple.  They both have creepy qualities.  I still don't think you should be really afraid of them, though; just slightly creeped out, if anything.

The forest temple is so easy it's almost dull... and the Shadow temple is so home it feels like slashing through my own living room.

Go Spirit temple!

I prefer the forest and fire temples. They are awesome (I'd say they rock, but I'll leave that joke for the Gorons  ;) 8)).

I like the twisted hallways in the Forest Temple.  I love defying the laws of nature! ;D

The Spirit temple is great! I love the mirror shield and this place just gives me an excuse to use it. Plus, I like finding the carpenters in the Gerudo Fortress, and the shooting/riding contest where to ride epona and shoot arrows at the targets.

Fire Temple, definitely!  ;D It wasn't so boring like the others.

I like the mirror shield and the fact it is in the middle of the desert. I think the colossus looks great too.

Totally the Spirit Temple! It was so much freaking fun! And the music, I thought was the best! Plus the Iron Knuckles were real fun to fight, especially in Majoras Mask.

And I really liked getting the mirror shield, that was an awesome part while watching Nabooru getting swallowed by the void!

My favorite temple is the spirit temple i liked fighting the iron knuckles.

I did love the spirit temple music, and the design, and the music in the deserts cool too.

The spirit temple is awesome!!!  :D  I like fighting the iron knuckles, I like the music, it's a lot of fun, and the only thing I don't like about the desert is the Leevers--but Nayru's Love solves that problem!!!  :D

Ugh, leevers.  The keese of the desert.  Plus the desert have the guay (those crows that attack you).  Now the Iron Knuckle is an enemy!  It's tough and it forces you to adopt a strategy that doesn't involve slashing your sword around wildly in hopes of a hit.

Yeah I hate the stupid enemies just there to bug you.

The leevers are definately dumb. All they do is chase you around and it seems that when you kill one, another one takes it's place. It's annoying having to run from rock to rock to get away from them.  ::)
