with one do you think is the hardest dungeon,
this my top 3
1.turtle rock
2.ganons tower
3.ice palace
hrm.....the two temples from WW, took me forever to beat because of the puzzles....
do these have to be from link to the past? if not than i would say that
WATER TEMPLE(OoT)
WIND TEMPLE (WW)
THIEVS HIDEOUT (LttP)
WIND TEMPLE (FSA gc)
I hate anything with both bones and the scent of dead people! :-X
I would have to say......Ice palace.

Do the sixth dungeon first, and you will short cut through it ;)
The hardest one when I first played it was Turtle Rock. You just needed so much magic.
I only said that because the first time, there was a lot of going around and pitfalls(literally) that could throw you off course.
Ice Palace is really pissing me off. It's got me going in circles.

See what I mean?
I believe the hardest dungeon is Turtle Rock, although I can't really recall a lot from it. I just remember going into overdrive with my Green and Blue Potions :). If you've played through the game quite a lot, like I'm sure most of us have, it's not too hard at all.
If you can be efficient with your magic, you can easily get through Turtle Rock without using potions.
I hated Turtle Rock! But, yeah, magic consumption was excessive.
Ice Palace. Hands down.
Theres this one room with this sickly hard puzzle, and it took me 5 HOURS (no joke) to solve this last puzzle. Then after all that hard work, i got to the boss, slipped on the ice in the room, and died...WOW
I didn't like Skull Woods. It's so easy to get lost in there, and I hate those Gibdos. That room with all of those eye laser beams on the wall and the large, dark room with all of the spinning fire annoyed me. Sorry, that last sentence was about Turtle Rock. :P
But killing the Gibdos is fun ;D
I do love burning the little buggers. ;D
Hey speaking of burning them, in Majora's Mask if you shoot a firte arrow at a Gibdo it burns and the bandages fall off and it becomes a re-dead.
I didn't know that. But I'm going to try. (When you burn a Gibdo in the Oracle games or TMC, they become Stalfoses.)
I thought that magic consumption was WAY TOO EXCESSIVE in Turtle Rock. However, with my money-making technique, I managed to get enough potions to manage. ;D
I dig everywhere I can. What's your money-making technique. ;D
Magic consumption wasn't really a problem for me in Turtle Rock.
My technique lies within the chests in the Treasure Chest Game in the Dark World.
You see, the Rupee prizes always seem to be somewhat adjacent to each other. Because of this, you can make a pretty good guess where you can make a big Rupee bonus.
I'm not sure if it'll work for you, but it's worth a shot.
MagmarFire is a genius!!!!!!! It works!!!!
But back on topic: Magic consumption was extremely annoying in Turtle rock, but it was easier than ice dungeon, cause it was not as puzzling
I hate those guys who jumps out from the walls in the Ice Palace. They always take me by surprise and I lose a heart or two before I can melt them with my awesome fire powers.
The hardest dungeon is Ganon's Tower.
It might be easier if you don't go for the compass; that's what I did.
I haven't even beat it yet.
That dungeon was really hard, i didnt use a guide so it took melike 5 hours to beat it...my eyes really hurt at the end!
Which is why they don't recommend you play video games for that long. ;D
Sympathy to you, though.
It used to always take me a few tries to beat Helmasaur King.
He is tough, I'll give him that. A few bombs, though, and he's dead.
I break the mask with the hammer, and then use arrows on his head.
You only need 3 bombs to break his mask. It's simpler and saves time.
Yea but for bombs youmust crack all 3 sides and it can be a pain sometimes..
Bombs are hardly useful as a weapon. It's best to use them as such against a Beamos, which is stationary. Unfortunately, the Beamoses in ALttP are invincible. :'( Anyways, bombs are better as tools; at least in my opinion.
I have two points to make on two different dungeons.
1. I admit, I hit some tough spots due to lack of magic in Turtle Rock. But I did manage without using potions.
2. Bombs are used in a couple spots in Ganon's Tower to blow yourself over a pit and to another piece of land.
About point number two, if there is a small gap close to a wall or block and you need to cross said gap, dashing into said wall or block will also get you across said gap with less damage done to you.
Turtle rock consumed alot of magic, i actually had to buy 3 potions to sustain myslef. i personally dont think they provided you with enough Mqagic inside the temple, making it the second hardest 9ice dungeon was the WORST)
I was so cold in the Ice Palace. And all that ice where you could fall off. :(
Vitreous in Misery Mire is my least favorite boss. I always use nearly all of my faeries in that fight. >:(
Misery mire took me 6 and a half hours to beat (i counted0 and i had a headache for 3 hours after. THAT DUNGEON IS WAYYYYYY TO HARD!!!!!!! >:( >:(
It's worth it for the Cane of Somaria. :D
i used the cane of somaria once. i wanted to strangle whoever created that evil death trap!
The Cane of Somaria is the best! You can't beat Turtle Rock, let alone the entire game, without it.
I used it only in Turtle rock dungeon, nowhere else. It was a watse :'(
When I'm not griping about the dungeons here, I'm creating blocks and playing with them. You can also use it as a weapon. Create a block and then swing the cane again. Missiles go out in the four compass directions. ;D It's a pity that it's hard to use as a weapon though. 8)
HEY I DINT KNOW THAT! wow im an idiot... :'(
You're ignorant. Idiots know they shouldn't do something and do it anyways. Big difference.
I agree w/ ice palace
Man, I HATED those monsters that popped out of the wall, in which you had to kill them with the Fire Rod (even though the Fire Rod IS very cool!); it takes so much life and magic away from you...! :-X
The ice people surprised me once and i died inches from the boss. I HATE THEM! >:(
ice palace was a REAL pain.i kept messing up when you have to drop the stones in the holes(near the boss)
exactly, me too! i couldnt do it man! :'(
:-X lol everyhting about that dungeon makes me shiver
and not because its ice ;D
the boss in the ice dungeon was a pain too.
My least favorite dungeon in ALTTP is Skull Woods, I'm stuck on it now. I haven't gotten past that, but I'm sure I have some other really hard dungeons to look forward to :-X
skull wods was a puzzle in the palace and outside the palace. And rest assured, koopaling14, that you have 3 hard dungeons ahead of you ;D
Yes! Don't get me started on Turtle Rock...! :-X
The key to surviving Turtle Rock is wise use of magic. I'm told it helps to have a bottle of green potion handy, but I've made it through Turtle Rock plenty of times without it.
Well, they do have continual magic potions under everything, but i always pack and extra magic potion just to be safe.
The bandits hideout is the hardest for me when you have to get the 4th crystal.
I'm in Ganon's Tower at the moment and i'm stuck rite near the end. The floor drops and you have to light four torches but the little pesky fireballs keep knocking me down a floor. Its annoying because there is nowhere to move. I'm so near to addin another completed Zelda game to my list, yet so far.
If you're in the room I think you're in, try timing your run to avoid the fireballs and use the Fire Rod. One of the torches you don't need to be in the way of the revolving fireballs.
Are you talking about the room with the invisible floor? Here's a hint for that one-- if you use the Ether Medallion, it shows you where the floor is for a few moments.
ahhh cheers mate. I shall try it sometime and see what happens.
