The Desert Colossus

in the zelda games there are difrent link's, nobody knows the exect timeline, but how many link's do you think there are.

If you count all the resent games. THere are ten, not including Minish Cap, and four sword copys.
1-Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link.
2-Link to the past.
3-Links Awakening.
4-Ocarina of time and Master quest.
5-The Oracle games
6-The Wind Waker
7-Four Swords (From The Link to the past GBA version.)
8-Four Swords Adventures.
9-Minish Cap
10-Twilight Princess.

If you count the copys there are 19 Links.

Well I didn't vote since there was no "Seven" but that is how many I say there are.

I agree.  ;) Too many Links as is; he keeps getting split into four, fused back together again, and warped several years through time. Seven years, I think the specific was.. but geez, you'd think there'd be some serious side-effects to everything he gets smacked with.

That must feel weird, knowing that there is plenty of yous out there, in different times, or knowing that you are only one forth of you because the real you split into four. Thinking like that makes me give up my dream of having a clone that goes to school and does my chores and homework for me. *shivers*

The minish cap link, and the Wind Waker link are different, because one lives on an Island with his Grandma, and the otther lives on a hill with his Grandfather. Each link in FSA is different, because each of them has a different personality, and tone of voice.

Similar? TP Link has BROWN hair. He even has a different eye colour (his eyes aren't azure, like OoT Link's eyes), and he grew up in a village far away from Hyrule. It's even been stated that it's a different Link. ;)

Because there are Links that have been in multiple stories, I don't know at the top of my head how many total Links there are. :(

No, there are nine Links. I didn't add PH to the list because we don't know yet if it's about a new Link or an existing one.

I think the link from Oot and MM is the same link from The first games on the NES.

1. The way they look doesn't matter.
2. 3 days in Termina is centuries in Hyrule, in which case the Skull Kid in MM can't be the one you play Saria's Song for in OoT.

Therefore, it's not possible because it is in-game fact that it's the same Skull Kid.

I said that it's impossible that three days in Termina is hundreds of years in Hyrule because then the Skull Kid in MM can't be the one you teach Saria's Song to in OoT. He states in MM that he is the same.

TP Link is a new Link. That has been stated.

Yeah, Nintendo stated directly this comes after TWW in a timeline.

That placement is outdated. At E3 2005, TWO MONTHS LATER, they said that it's between OoT and TWW.
