i played MM again, and I wanted to do the kafie thing, so I went to the mayors office, and talked to the indi-gogo manager, (after doing the mayor chat thing with da soldiers and carpenters, and on day 1 at 10 to 11 am, for ref.) and he said yhat one of their more famus songs is BALAD OF THE WIND FISH. ??? dos this mean the zora made the balad? ???
Yes they dit, but it sounds difrent on the credits in the game they play it
That song in MM is just a cheap Ballad of the Wind Fish wanna-be. Why they even called it that is a mysterious to me. It sounds nothing like the superior and original Ballad of the Wind Fish from LA. ::)
It doesn't sound good.I have a queston, how can Link be a zora, goron, deku and human at the same time when he preforms at the Milk Bar?C'est impossible!
It's probably the manager's memories filling in the gaps.
nintendo prolly just wanted somthing that would sound familiar to fans :-\
A wizard did it. I know it's cliche'd, but you all know that whenever something that we can't explain happens it's the work of a wizard. :-*
Damb wizards...
A wizard didn't do it! >:(
I know, I did. ;)
By the way, what is LA? ;)
LA is short for Link's Awakening.
And with the wizards, leave Gandalf alone. What with fighting Balrogs and facing evil essences looking for a majority of its power stuffed inside a ring, he doesn't need biased people like you. >:(
:P
So, yeah, Ballad of the Wind Fish in MM is a cheap imitation of the original on in LA. What was Koji Kondo thinking?

Just realized it was LA:Link's Awakening. ;)
OK, I may be new, but I am the master wizz of Zelda. I know all, and I know this; you see, if you remember correctly, at the beginning of MM, you fall into another world, being Termina. And, in ALttP, Link is always entering the other world; the Dark World. Now, you see, there are 3 worlds; Hyrule, Dark, and Termina/Koholint. Termina is the same world as Kolonlint, but just a few generations after (MM, then LA). You see, when Link was at sea, he was shipwrecked into another portal. A wormhole. It is a parralel world to Hyrule. But it's out at sea. When Link awakens the Wind Fish in LA, he is just re-entering Hyrule, leaving Termina/Koholint. The Ballad of the Wind Fish is written during the age of MM, but was just like a Moon's Peral; it could get Link to the Dark. You get what I'm saying? So, Koholint is just as much of a dream as Termina was in MM. The statues and carvings in LA near the Shrines were set up, to get you off track. If you have any questions, just PM me. ;D
Um, Termina was never a dream world. Where did you get that from?
I got it from the resources of other games; Termina and the Dark World are both Parrelel world to Hyrule, no? Thy aer almost the same Geography of Hyrule, based on it's Generation. And Koholint is no different; he falls into the portal of Koholint in the Great Sea. When awakening the wing-fish, he went back to the world ogf Hyrule...
Koholint was an island in the Wind Fish's dream. There was no portal to go into. If you remember the opening before the title screen comes up, Link was caught in a storm and a bolt of lightning hit his ship. There was nothing about a portal in that sequence.
No, but the tale itself tricked o=you with that; you see, when the lightning hit his ship he, of course, was shipwrecked. But there were no surrounding islands. He didn't see what happened next, he was suddenly on Koholint (he reaizes when in Marin's home). It didn't show him entering a portal; through the happenings of the other 2 games (MM and ALttP), Link enters the world of Koholint. Think about it.
And, I said before that it was the same world as Termina. Although possible, I'm not so sure anymore... I may very likely be, but.... you know...
It can't be a dream world, because the fairies and Skull Kid cabn go to and from Termina, without destroying it. And the fairies originated from there. And if it was a dream, Nintendo would have made that clear, at least at the end. And how do you explain the Goddess of Time helping Link at the beginning? AND, Koholint was, very sadly, destroyed at the end of Awakening.
Link went crazy after the events of OoT.....Simple reasoning......
The pamphlet thingy that comes with every Zelda game is proof enough. It clearly states that it is LTTP's Link.
I find it strange a wizz at the games doesn't look at the pamphlet to see what it says.
