I find this really stupid. The people were being dumb and happened to thow the wii remote at their t.vs...I hope someone won't sue Nintendo for this.

You can't sue Nintendo for throwing the Wii-Mote at your T.V.

That's madness! What idiot would sue Nintendo for "accidentally" chucking your wii remote across the room. Tsk idiots

I've been visiting Wiihaveaproblem.com pretty much from the beginning.

No, they can't sue Nintendo for it. If your hands get so sweaty the wiimote slips out of your hands, it's your own fault. These accidents never happened when Nintendo employers showed it at the E3 and such. Nor have I heard any reports from professional reviewers. Also, how many Wii's have been sold and how many accidents have happened? Nintendo cannot be blamed for unresponsible behaviour.

However, they do have the duty in my opinion, to make the strap stronger. No one was expecting this, it's not Nintendo's fault. But when something is wrong, you gotta fix it. Luckily, it isn't something big they have to change.

Why would anyone throw their remote?

That reminds me, one time I went to my nephews' house, and they were playing Wind Waker and Jacob, my surprisingly older nephew threw the conroller at the t.v. because he's a pycho.

well, you really don't need to really swing the remote like your there. I played the wii in a gamestop (it was fun :P) and the only problem was aiming and keeping the pointer on the screen. I could deliver loads of shots just by moving it gently

Now I want a Wii. I should badger my dad into buying me one for my B-Day. Or even better, just buy it with the money he gives me for my grades.!  :) Or just say, "Don't give me money for my grades, give me a Wii."  :)

I have never had a problem with my Wii all these problems are cause of morons who swing their Wii-motes like crazy and expect the strap the save them all the time. I am glad their TVs are busted maybe that will teach them or at least teach their parents to disipline their children a little more.

I don't think it's fair to blame Nintendo for these accidents, and I don't think it's fair to blame the players.

I repeat myself! It are ACCIDENTS and NO ONE was expecting this. Those people are not morons, just careless. And I even have my doubts about that. This is the Wii-version of "pressing the button with all the strength in your fingers because the human psyche tells you you'll have a better chance of reaching your goal then". Don't tell me you've never done that.

Exactly! They're just dumb-dumbs that can't hold their remotes tight enough.

God thats retarded. They arent wearing the strap, and they're most likely eating buttered toast, because i find it difficult to let go of my controller. I dont wear the strap, and I still have never tossed it. And who swings the Wiimote so hard that it can crash through a TV? And honestly, you point it at the TV, pointing it at the window wont make a difference. People are so stupid these days...

I'll never forget when I got an e-mail from Nintendo talking about warnings and precautions dealing with the Wii and there were some ridicolous ones but of course the main thing was to hold onto the Wiimote. The example they gave was when playing Bowling on Wii Sports that you still have to hold the Wiimote when throwing the ball not throwing the Wiimote like a bowling ball. Sad thing is I bet there were some people who actually did that.
