My third most memorable TP moment was the moment I first got on a boar. Epona was the only way I liked traveling. I only needed to press A once in awhile and it was fast. Hylian Link and Wolf Link both were slow and Dash hardly was faster. When I got on the boar, I expected I could ride it like Epona. I was incredibly dissapointed to see it required the same system as Hylian and wolf Link. At least, until I pressed A. Couldn't stop laughing. So I really like TP's boars, but there are two things about them that annoy me.
1. Why can't they cross bridges? Why can't you take them to other areas? I could imagine something like Midna stopping you if you'd want to enter a village with them, but I don't think there's any excuse for not being able to take them to other areas.
2. You can't talk with them! Wolf Link is supposed to be able to talk with all animals, but boars for some stupid reason are an exception. Why?
Yeah I wanted to see how stupid they were by talking to them, but you can't 8)
3. The boars er stupid... They just fall down, instead of Epona, who stops when you near falling down a pit or something...
ah, thats the point-you wanted to talk to them to see how stupid they are, now you know. They are so stupid they can't talk.And as for the falling thing, there is a reason they call it "horse sense".
Uh, 'scuse me people, but this is going the wrong way. In case it wasn't clear, I adore TP's boars. They're my fav way of traveling and I think they are a very interesting addition. I have no reason to assume they are stupid. I don't know what it is Link does to them to make them run like mad, but if it's the same thing as Epona, I can understand they do everything to get him off. In short, you don't mind slapping yourself either if it kills the mosquito who's drinking your blood. The boars are strong, hitting something with full speed (or something hitting them) doesn't even seem to really hurt them.
The reason I wanted to talk to them is to see how they felt about their lives and masters, maybe get a "thank you" from the boar in the stable.
meh, sorry lady nintendo...I haven't even gotten to that part, I just couldn't resist. I actually look forward to riding them, but do you ever get ot do another mounted fight?
I didn't even know you could ride on those things! I knew you couldr ride on those squaky bird things, but I did NOT know that!
Well, you have to ride on them in a few parts of the game in order to proceed.
Yes, you do several mounted fights, but I think the first one was the best.

I thought the boars were cool. It's fun to ride diffrent animals. I found it funny when they get hurt, they just lay there. I thought it was dead, but it just got up again. :D They kind of hard to control when they dash though...
