I really liked the wind waker, which was my first zelda game but after playing TP I think it is the best Zelda game, tell if TP is for you the best zelda game ever and why
If TWW was your first TLOZ, how many TLOZs have you played?
Anyway, I don't think TP is the best. I already explained myself in "TP beats WindWaker" in the Zelda general part of the forum. I think I'll be playing LA soon again. Imo, that's the best TLOZ.
actually I have beaten the wind waker, minish cap, a link to the past, four sword adventures, ocarina of time and the master quest version, majora's mask , twilight princess and I'm playing the legend of zelda and the oracle series. All are great but twilight princess is the best one, it was hard to decide but I think it is.
ive played every zelda game there is *well nearly* and i hav 2 say tp is the best but, nintendo let me down a litle, they should have included speach insted of subtitles and moving lips. Also i think they should have let link have a voice and talk 1 once.
I also think that this is the best Zelda game! Though... I feel a little disappointed...
Bosses too easy... Link gets ignored... Only seen Zelda 3 times...
One word to say to this question, DUH! ;D

They will never ever do that. Voice acting is not important to a Zelda game.
I don't think TP is the best. It didn't feel like a new Zelda to me, it just felt like an OoT add-on or something ...
Not to say that it was bad, of course ...
Any idea how ridiculous voice acting looks if the game gets dubbed? Or you would have to prefer the original japanese voices, which I don'think they would keep.
And you know, I'm just gonna put a little comment out there about dubbing Vs. Subtitles...
Everytime I play a game that has spoken dialogue, it's difficult to follow along unless there's subtitles to accompany, sure maybe SOME people would prefer voices, but the thing would sound cheesy and messed up, because a lot can go wrong in the dubbing process... For one thing, most of the time with american voice actors, they're unable to work with others who are in the same scene, so there tends to be very little emotion in the speech...
I find it very unfair that some games just HAVE to use speech, but are unable to have subtitles for that scene... There ARE deaf gamers you know! I'm one of them...
It's just a little frustrating that we have this kind of technology but aren't willing to put a simple option like subtitles up... even though they can afford using voice actors... BURN EM ALL I SAY!
I do like the subtitles....then how abt subs and voices?!
:D
Yeah, but sometimes people are a little ignorant and will only put the spoken dialogue without subtitles. I know from personal experience in a few anime cutscenes in games I've played...
I may not be deaf (I may not pay attention sometimes), but I love subtitles. However, they drive my family crazy whenever I turn them on, on a DVD.
Still, I'm going to be completely unoriginal in my reply to the topic's question and say that TP is pretty much the greatest Zelda game in the history of history. :D
Not do the subtitles only drive your family crazy, but they make me wanna slap you up cross the head. ;D

anyway i liked tp the best so far, so pretty graphics..
I think TP is the best but I did have high expectations for it. I do want to get the Wii so I can play it see if the graphics are better but I cant find one.
:'(
The graphics are no different on the Wii.
