Title: hidden dungeon
Post by: chicknumber2 on December 30, 2006, 10:46:10 AM
In the ocarina of time when your little go to zora's domaine and make sure you can dive 8 meters and go to the little island where there is only one zora on it swim between the small island and ladder and dive down and down and you should see a dark tunnle which you can't reach so you dive down and you will see a dark tunnle and that's the hidden dungeon and it's a real shame that you can't get to it because it would be cool to see what it look's like .

How do you know it's a hidden dungeon and how do you know you can't reach it? Did you also know that if you play Song of Storms on that island a hole opens there?

hmmm ... I'll have to try this on my computer later to see what I can find out.

EDIT: I found it, and it turns out to be nothing. It looks like something could be there, but when I got close, there's just a wall beyond the opening.

Turn up the brightness on your monitor if you can't see it.

It makes sense, you're theory. Thet did forget to put a few other corrections in the final touches.

It looks like there could have been a chest there. They did move or remove a lot of chests before the game was finalized.

Old story. A lot of Zelda64 sites cover the strangeness of that spot. Anyway, it most likely indeed is something they've removed. On the other hand, it could also have been placed there as a spot of interest for the OOT add-on, which never was released and is not Master Quest.

Yeah, I would've been surprised if this was new. But it does bring up some questions, particularly how you would get to it.

erm, except it's frozen when you're an adult, and you can't use those as a child ...

Unless you cheat, like I did to take those pictures.

I wouldn't use the cheat anyway. Mabye they did plan on puting a chest there, but they could have forgotten.

I meant perhaps Zora's Domain thawed originally, or didn't become frozen at all. Or you could use iron boots as a kid. But that didn't happen, so whatever was there, they had to get rid of.
