umm, in england we have a totaly (better) different education system.
you can go 2 pre-school (nurcery) --------kindergarden?
ages (2-4)
reception - (4-5
year 1 (5-6)
year 2 (6-7)
3 (7-8)
4(8-9)
5 (9-10)
6(10-11)
if wanting to go 2 a grammar school (selective SECIONDARY) , you have 2 pass a very hard exam.
( the 11+) - like me ;D
or you can go 2 a comprihensive SECIONDARY school.
all are free unless wanting 2 go 2 a private school.
year 7( 11-12)
year 8 (12-13)
year 9 (me) 13-14 (can join CCF) SATS ---
GCSE OPTIONS
year 10 (14-15)
year 11 (15-16) Start GCSES --- very important exams for job aplications and life. highest - A*- , lowest E or 'U' for ungraded
NOW YEAR 11 CAN LEAVE SCHOOL , or go 2 further education in sixth form
____sixth Form ______ now can take exams to get into a better schools sixth form
Lower sixth (16-17) Start 'AS' (((NOT A TYPEO_ ITS 'AS' levels)), the first half of 'A' levels. the most imporstant and respected tests in seciondary school , untill Universiry
Upper sixth- (17-18) finish 'A' levels . finish sixth form.
