Does anyone else here sometimes get crappy service at wal mart? Like once, I asked for a videogame, and they just looked at me like I was crazy, and went on to the next custimer, and I was like, what the heck is your problem? You got a freaking key, Im a custimer that wants service you crapper.
actually, i got my wii at walmart... :]
I asked someone at wal mart if they had any wii's avalable, and they just looked at me and walked away. Im not going to that wal mart again. >:(
Wal-Mart does not care about the customer. They only want to make money. You should shop somewhere else.
Oh oh, one time, my friend's mom went to call someone at wal mart about wii's, and the night before she went up there, she said they had 10 avalable, and like, 5 hours later, all were gone, may I ask how you can sell 10 wii's before 8:00 in the morning?
The Wii's a hot item. Everybody wants one. It's entirely possible.
I know, but she called like at 5 in the morning asking if they had any. I find it strange...
Maybe it's a conspiracy against you? ::)
haha, still, wal mart isn't very good, they don't even put the right price tags in the right spot sometimes, like once, I went to buy Elf the movie, it said 14 dollars and some cents under it, and then when it got registered, it said like 22 dollars, whats up with that? Turns out I had to borrow some from my mom... >:(
Like I said: conspiracy.
::)
ZOMG!!!11!!1
Its still rather evil... anyone else have problems with wal mart?
Wal mart gave me crappy service too! I went to grab a CD. I found Papa Roach, and i took it to the counter. The lady was about to take my order, when three black kids shoved me out of the way, and she didnt say anything!! I swear i would have let them have it if there werent 3 of them. >:( I couldnt believe it! Then, I wentback to get a game. I got naruto ninja Council 2, and asked the lady to open the glass doors (because only they have the key) and she totally ignored me!
I said "Hey look, I want to get a game from the gameboy shelf!" She rolled her eyes, and then walked over to the case, and unlocked it. She got my game out, and went to the counter, and tried to charge me 40 dollars!! >:( I was like "Dom you think I'm stupid? The game had the price on it, it should only be $30 max." Man i was so peeved. >:(
Notorious Walmart! In fact, Walmarts are so bad there is NOT ONE in all over new York State. Isn't that sad (yet funny ;D)?

OMG, I was waiting for like ever for this guy to get done with this person, just to get a game, and some jerk went in front of me, and I was waiting there for like, an hour maybe, and then he cut me, and the person didn't say anything, and I was like, what the hell? I want a damn videogame! I think it was when madden 2007 came out for the ps2. I was mad at walmart for that.
Well if you made minimum wage, work terrible hours, and get no fringe benefits you would be a bitter employee as well ;D
Thus is the reason why Wal Mart is the New GREAT WHITE SATAN!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I don't really shop at wal mart anymore, not much of a point...
Wolf link, cussing man, i know you're angry, we all are, but I cant let it pass, you've been here too long. Sometimes I let it slip when I'm angry, it happens to the best of us.

Funny. I have no problem with Wal-mart. Then again, I hardly go there, and if I do I don't really interact with the employees. Either way, it isn't fair to lash out against the company as a whole. You just happen to go to the store with the employees that give bad customer service. Say, if you want people to actually get good customer service, why don't you apply there and set an example for the rest of the employees?

Sorry about that, most forums I go to allow that word. sorry.
You have no idea of a working environment. There are pressures that sap people of their strength. While one may initially be energetic; this energy can be fatiqued by too much negativity and stress.
What we have here is an example of how difficult things are in such environments. But it is not against thought to blame the company, because how the workers have behaved towards people has itself, become an infamous aspect of company. In other words: Bad PR.
There jackets may say how may I help you, but they should say, how may I not help you? ;D
They should say "How may I make your day miserable?"
Oh oh, what about, may I not serve you today? ;D
Here's a good one
(http://www.spotteddogs.org/images/Walmart-ad.jpg)
and another
This one is GENIUS!
OMG, that last one was hilarious. ;D
And a very sad example of wal mart not acknowledging the truth:

The bubble says "Always low blows, ALWAYS"
And can you really believe that they let a pregnant woman work?!
That first one was funny, but it kind of streches the page...

the walmart as i call it has no unions so it can pay its workers next to nothing and pass the slavings on to us
Oh, and how about that simple freedom cell phone thing, when they had them recalled, that was not fair!
lol! And they dont care who is disables, or pregnant, they are forced to work. I know this because of the stories my mom tells us of when she used to work there. She said that a certain ammount of money must be made by the end of her shift. If it isnt made, she is kept there until it has been. Is that just crazy?! I also heard that they've been hiring ilegal imagrants, so that they can work for a lower price. If they complain to a higher law, then it will be realized that the immagrants were illegal in the first place, and they're deported. In other words:
+Illegal Immagrant hired
+Work same hours, get payed less.
+They cannot complain to authority in fear of deportation.
Wal mart is a sneaky butt-fungus >:(
lol, they are evil, EVIL!
haha... so ive never really had problems with walmart, but then again, i make it my business to be ignored at all costs by people who think they have athority.
And the one I go to, the people aren't very friendly...
im sorry. oh, but the other day i actually had people who work at walmart come up to me and ask me if i needed help with anything... i was somewhat amazed...
The only one that does that at this wal mart, is ryan... I go there so much, I know the guys name, the other guy that works while he's on lunch break is crappy.
Sweet! Down with the man! I also try to seem inconspicuous in front of my teachers. I act like a good kid, so that when I commit a hanus act of terror, they'll never suspect me. :P It works all the time! One time, I left class saying i had to pee, and I clogged up the water fountain with gum, and propped a stick up against the wall, which held the water on. I flooded the hallway!! or at least a part of it.
A janitor must have passed by, and dones omething about because there was only a little bit of water. They asked the classes if anyone left during the time. My teacher was like "Well Alex wouldnt do a thing like that!" I had a concerned look on my face and everything!! SUCKERS! :P
Anyways, Wal mart has had a bad effect on my view of the store, but i have a $20 giftcard that i have to use to buy DBZ:BT2, so i'll be there soon.... :-*
I'll probably go there this up coming weekend to look at videogames... lol.
They have a really crappy GBA selection. That dosent compare to Target's crappy CD selection though. I guess every store has it's faults, except of course
- Best buy
- Game Stop
- Game Crazy

my teachers do the same thing with me... sweet little jordan would never do that...
and yeah. im prolly gonna go hit up a walmart soon too. i have a 50 dollar giftcard burning a hole in my pocket..
I seem to be the only person that don't have any gift cards.
Same goes for the wii :P Okay, that was mean, Im sorry. I'll.. I'll... I'll be your lackey if this keeps up! Just dont tell my other boss. :-\
haha, real funny zv, you should be a commiden... :P
thats all my family will get me. wallmart, target, books a million, eb games, or some multi purpose card. i actually have like 200 dollars worth of them in my wallet..
I have 0 dollars worth to them...
That's because there's a conspiracy against you and everyone else in Michigan. :P
Anywho, I'm a bit far away from Wal-mart to do any shopping there, but it's not like I have a reason to go there. RadioShack, on the other hand...I think there's one on Broad Street. Broad Street has everything but a Wal-mart! There must be a RadioShack! Gasp! I...I...I might actually have to pay $1.25 bus fare to get to a RadioShack! Oh nos! That's a one and a fourth cycle through the wash I will no longer have!
I still say wal mart is very evil...

It's a quaint little store in the state of New Texicanico. Huh? That's not a state. Well, then I have no clue either, but it sounds like a video game store.

I've never heard of Game crazy too.
there is a game crazy within walking distance of my aunts house i think... i could be wrong though.

Aww, thats harsh. I guess fewer people got a hold of a Wii than i thought. Well, Twilight Princess is the only game i have for it, but i should be getting DBZ: BT2 soon. And as for GameCrazy, it's an awesome place! It's small, but tightly packed with everything you could possibly want! You cant see the walls due to all the games, props, posters, and game guides. They have an awesome TP prop, and an awesome Gears of War prop near the door! They give out a free sticker to every customer when you buy something there. I stuck it to the back of my School ID card.

You see angsty teens + low paying job + sometimes annoying customers = crappy service. I really don't give a care about how they act, but if they give me the cold shoulder when I ask something I don't take any crap.
One time I was at a Wal Mart and (I don't know why) but somebody dropped a stinky diaper full of poopy right in the middle of the floor of the aisle and no one (as in any Wal Mart employee) cleaned it up. :P :-*
Ew, thats rather gross. We didn't want to know about that one.
This reminds me of a clip I saw in Bowling for Columbine called "A Breif History of the United States of America" and it was something like, "And I don't mean no money like, "I work at Wal-Mart, and make no money."
I think some of the people there are lazy.
Wal mart what is that
oh for the love of god, are you feeling ok? Its only one of the biggest shopping places ever, but it pretty much sucks.
i guess it not where i live
Wolf Link, they don't have Wal-Marts in the UK. Jeesh. :)
...I think. I could be wrong, though.
Oh, sorry, I didnt know that, your lucky, you don't want one... most employes are lazy.
Well, looks like I was wrong...kind of. Wal-Mart operates in the UK as ASDA. So breton, do you have any problems with ASDA?
What is ASDA?
The name of Wal-Mart in the UK.
Oh, thanks for clearing that up.
the thing about Wal-Mart is that they hire people who can't get a job anywhere else, that way they don't have a choice about their wages. So what does that say about work ethic of the employees who can't get a job anywhere else? excluding disabled people and such, they usually are fine, they are happy that Wal-Mart would get a job, most of the world is mean and won't hire disabled people...so in a way it's good we have Wal-Mart.
That doesn't excuse them from being ruthless imperialists.
Commodore Axilon, you get a cookie.
As for me, I'm disabled (hearing and visual impaired) and I highly doubt wal mart would be able to find me a job in doing anything. I prefer to write, not go with menial labor.
we have this REALLY REALLY REALLY big walmart... its huge
Wal Mart won't allow Unions either, so that's why they can do pretty much whatever they want. Which, in a sense, is bad.

But that also depends on your views on Unions. I love my Union (medical and dental insurence and retirement plan and job security) but one of my best friends, who is a carpenter, will not join a Union because he said he can make more money and can take on any job he wants instead of being told what jobs he can take.
kill the heart of Wal mart and the heart is the poeple
Jeez dude, that's a little extreme.
yeah, walmart isn't THAT bad...
yeah, like I said earlier, it's kinda good we have them...look at all the jobs it created.
and by disabled I didn't mean that kind, it was more along the lines of mental disabilities, such as autism.
Well, I guess they do sometimes have good employment, they have good stuff thats for sure, minus the wii that is.
See how clearly one can think when they have cooled off? :)
Anyway, about Unions, the reason Wal Mart doesn't have them is because it would cost them extar money, and they don't wanna pay. So,money wise, it's a good decision for Wal Mart.
But bad for the employees.
Hey, it's what Wal Mart wants to do, and there's no law against it.
Besides, it's not like employees are being beaten there or anything.
So as long as there's no physical abuse they can treat their employees as crappy as possible? Quite a moral compass you have.
why are we talking about walmart anyways?

I reall dont have the energy to argue, but let me just say you totally misinterpreted and twisted my statement.
Well started off with Wolf Link talking about how terrible the service is there and evolved into how evil the corporation is. I do point out one thing though, I do love Sam's Club and they are part of the Wal-Mart corp.
Wal Mart is alright, I mean, it does have good discounts at tiems. And it helps the economy.

It's an at-will employer, to my knowledge. If they treat you like crap you can do several things, one being to report the issue, and two being to leave.
I don't like Wal Mart. It's killed local business, especially in this area where we have a gigantic 7% single business tax on all accrual over, I think it's 140,000 USD made per year. Which is not very much for a business. And accrual being money that the business has earned but not necessarily received, which is particularly bad for the service industry.
I don't know what the tax for large corporate chains is like, but I've got a hunch it needs to be
bigger. Especially since a good 25% of Michigan's state revenue comes from that damn single business tax, so it's doubtful that it's going to be got rid of anytime soon unless there's some chunk of money to fill that place.
While it is true Wal Mart can destroy smaller businesses, there can be things done to stop a Wal Mart from coming. For example, in NY, Wal Mart can't come because it doesnt support Unions.
I'm pretty sure I've seen Wal-Marts in New York before.
No in the city area, you haven't. They're not here.
Well I'll let you guys know when I go to New york to go see the baseball hall of fame this summer. :P
Looking at context, I'd say MasterKey is already there, Wolf Link. ;)
