Does anybody here play Guitar Hero? I got part two for Christmas and I love it.
No, I don't, but I got Dance dance revolution.
I played it a couple of times at my friend's place. I didn't think I would like it, but I was wrong.
AGH, I love Guitar Hero, it's so awesome....I just wish number two had some songs from the first one, like Fat Lip, I love Sum 41...
I have played guitar for about 10 years now so there was no reason for me to get it. However, a friend of mine who is just starting to learn guitar said that Guitar Hero has helped him get a better grasp at playing guitar. So if you want to actually play guitar, maybe start off on Guitar Hero first.
I've heard a lot about it, but I, like bgrugby, play guitar already, so ...

well i have dance dance counter-revolution
I love Guitar Hero!!! I have both, but still suck; I can only do Medium level :(.
That's okay. I can barely do Medium level myself.
I think it looks fun, I saw someone play it in wal mart, it looks fun.
I'm about to start Expert mode myself. I've just got to finish Freebird on Hard and I'll be finished.
That game sounds rather fun.
It is, and even if you play guitar its a good idea to pick it up. That way you can fulfill your dreams of playing guitar for big famous bands like Black Sabbath and KISS.

Hmph! Bragger! >:(
My friends that play guitar are always talking about it ...
Is it only for PS2? Because my PS2 is a piece of crap ...
No your wrong, your PS2 is not a piece of crap...ALL PS2 are pieces of crap. That is the hard lesson I learned when I switched over to Sony and found that they cannot release any quality games. Granted I went cause of the Final Fantasy series but it reached its peak with FFVI (or FFIII on the SNES if you prefer) and games on Sony systems have been pretty pathetic to say the lest. Thank goodness I have come around and got a Wii and relive my childhood, make up for past mistakes, and play new great games.
do you mean FF VII? cuz I don't really hear people talking about VI much...I heard they are making a new Final Fantasy VII game, this starts at Sephiroth's betrayal, and you play as Zack....It sounds awesome...
Final Fantasy VII was good, but Square's really going overboard on "expanding" the story. It was ok with Advent Children, but now, with the onslaught of FF VII games on the way, it's getting out of hand.
And Sony isn't bad. Granted, the PS3 was a bit of a bomb, but there are still quality games coming out on the PS2. The Ratchet and Clank series, Jak and Daxter series, Kingdom Hearts(You either love it or hate it).
gah!!!! why does everyone hate DoC!!!!! yea the whole story wasnt as awesome as it could have been, but it was still a really fun game that taught people about the mysteries of vincent!!!
plus the ps3 sucks, the only reasons i wanted it were for GoW2 and DMC4 and now that god of war will be on ps2, im not gonna get one just to play DMC4
I'm not speaking about Dirge of Cerberus directly, I'm addressing the whole slew of Final Fantasy Seven games that have or have yet to come out. Final Fantasy Seven was good, leave it at that, and no other small stories nobody cares about.
I actually enjoyed DoC it is one of the few shooters that I liked and the fact that Vincent was only two characters from FFVII that I actually liked (the other being Cid) it was a pretty fun game. And Shikamaru I did mean FFVI, the last great FF game. I liked FFVII but it is the most overrated game I have played and every game after that was not much better (especially FFVIII which was awful). FFX was good but they ruined it by releasing FFX-2. I only played a demo of FFXII but I did not like the way the battle system was so never got it.

You know, I think people don't like because of the whole "sequel" thing. I didn't think it was a bad game at all.
I don't think it was a bad game either, in fact I don't think any FF game is bad (except for the Mystic Quest "game") but compared to games like FFI, FFIV, and FFVI it was not as good. I loved the job system in FFX-2 and the ending was good but the story in general was pretty weak in my opinion.

What about
Crystal Chronicles?
Yes I think that was a bad game as well but the problem with that is it is a multiplayer game in essence. I never got to play it with someone else so I cannot make that judgement but as a single player game it is bad.
As for people not caring about the smaller stories, filling in the holes of FFVII, I happen to be very interested, and I"m glad they are making these games. We pick over every detail of Zelda and want games to fill in the holes of the Zelda story, don't we?
I love FFIII; I wish I still had it. FFX is okay, but everything is so drawn-out and the battles get boring ...

GH, less work involved
Guitar Hero, I'd rather rock out than do aerobics, thanks. Much better music too.
Guitar Hero, DDR is too troublesome. I should try both at the same time.
you cant say troublesome. 'tis my line. and that would be fun.
