The latest issue of Nintendo Dream states that Nintendo is soon to reveal a new sequel of a famous series, yet it doesn't give any information on what the series is. Could this be a new Zelda game, or is it too close to the release of Twilight Princess? It could also be a sequel for some other Nintendo series such as Pikmin, Mario Party, or Mario Kart. Stay tuned, as this mystery sequel will be announced soon. I don't know how soon is soon.

You see, I figured they were comming out with a completely new series, and I got all excited. I'm getting a little sick of sequals, and i had hoped they had designed a new game.
If there's a game worthy of a sequel, we must eliminate the impossible, and whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the solution.
We know of confirmed sequels in mario, metroid, zelda, super smash Brothers, and Fire Emblem. Chances are, it might be pikmin for the wii. Some other interesting possibilities include a new mario party...
What would be really nice thouogh, is if we had a sequel for F Zero GX. That game for the gamecube was HYPER FAST. and HARD! So a sequel to that would be rather nice...
How about Kid Icarus?
What about just a whole new series its self, not just a continuing game? That would be cool, an original for the nintendo wii.
well we have red steel, though I heard that may be made for the gamecube. I'm not for it though. and a new Mario Party is coming. My bet is on Pikmin. a Megaman game would be sweet though.
Yeah, A megaman game with updated graphics, that would be something.
Megaman = capcom
megeman =/= nintendo
And besides, the gamecube is already defunct. ANd with ALL the half dozen or so spinoffs of megaman, totalling, oh say... over 40 games?!! While a megaman may be initially cool, we haven't really seen a new game for the original series since Megaman and Bass... I'd really like to know how things went during the 100 year period between X and the original megaman... Doesn't look too likely though, since in Megaman Zero, we had mention of the 'elf wars' following the maverick wars, without any games that actually took place during the elf wars...
So sue me, I know too much about megaman...
You're right! The possibilities are endless!! ;D
I would like to see an original series, im exicited to see what it is.
My guess is Kid Icarus. It's pretty much the only "famous" series that doesn't have a sequal confirmed and with Pit being in SSBB....
I wouldn't mind Eternal Darkness getting a Nintendo exclusive sequal, but I guess that isn't a series yet and is already "confirmed".
Maybe Golden Sun though. Camelot is working on a new RPG for the Wii.
Great point LN. Those would be some awesome games! I hate it when Nintendo leaves us in the dark about things!! ;D
I don't, I love the idea of getting excited about things.
I guess you're right. I was just thinking, but wouldnt it be awesome if they did a Wii remake of A Link to the Past? I would hope they would stay true to the story, but think of how hard that would be! :-[
Like, not? It's pretty much a fact that the 2D games are a whole lot harder than the 3D games, because of Link's limited movement freedom and stuff.
Also, I doubt there are gonna be any remakes anytime soon. Nintendo has to prove the new controller's worth and therefore has to come with new stuff made for the Wii instead of adjusted for the Wii.
I just thought that a new F-Zero also might be possible.
f-zero would be cool, use the wiimote to steer...
i would really like a sequel to a little known game called Custom Robo. It was so cool, and it wold be 100x cooler for the Wii.
None of the Custom Robo games were released in Europe, so a new game of that series is always welcome.
Oh, I loved Custom Robo, only one was released in America...
Lol, I thought I was the only one that liked it! :D
But it was really great, and the should release one everywhere.
But why not release it in Europe? :-\
Hey, you didn't get Doshin the Giant. And for a very long time, we didn't get Animal Crossing. It wasn't until Europe got mad at Nintendo for being the ONLY region not getting AC (while there was a PAL version available in Austrialia). I don't know why they decide not to release something in a certain region. Me and my bro were really looking forward to Custom Robo.
All I know now is that to me it means it's okay to download it as soon as possible.
You can always buy it from a US store and have it shipped to where you live in Europe.
PAL vs NTSC.
I'd have to get a Freeloader first.
I love the ideas of F-Zero and Kid Icarus on the Wii. But what about Poke'mon? I'm not talking about the ones like Poke'mon Snap or Stadium. But like the actual advevnture ones; Red, Blue, Gold, etc. In a 3d thing. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

You do realize that it was voted (in one particular magazine I get) one of the worst games of the year right? That is why I never play it
Never play it or never bought it?
Does it matter what some magazine or site says? No. The people who write those reviews are pro's. They have seen a lot more games than the average gamer and that influences the grade they give a game. To them, a game is not merely a game. They look at what they usually get from the company that developed it, what other games in that genre do (and especially what they do better) and what this game adds. Average gamers (check Custom Robo on gamefaqs) usually don't think too much about that stuff. They simply say whether a game is fun or not and why.
I doubt a new pokemon game will be announced. With three new pokemon games coming soon, I think it will take a while before they announce yet another new game.
They at least should release the game boy game player like they have for the other systems, so you can play GBA games on the Wii. How could Custom Robo be a worst game of the year, I thought it was awesome...oh well. I don't agree with a lot of things they say. I heard quite a few of the big magazines didn't like Windwaker, I loved it.
Oh I realize that it would be awhile before it would come out, I'm just saying it might be a good idea for the future. And i cant wait for the new pokemons to come out.
With 400+ Pokemon to choose from (that's what I heard; not entirely sure, really), who CAN wait for them to come out!? :D
people who can't take any more pokemon.
Pokemon on the Wii....interesting idea, and it's bound to happen.
you could actually throw the pokeball...

People like me who think 3/4th of the fourth generation is crap. Magmar's evolution looks awful. Actually, a couple of months ago, my brother and I were looking through the new pokemon and saw that one. We didn't read its description. We just looked at it and then looked at eachother. And at the same time we said: "This isn't what I think it is, right?". (http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/467.shtml) From the third generation, there were already a few I.....I didn't dislike them, but I wondered about what they actually added to the pokemon world. I like Slaking, but didn't we already had a fat, lazy pokemon? But the fourth generation....it has a few interesting ideas (like Beequeen (again, I hate the design)), but too many are simply evolutions of pokemon that first didn't evolve (is there any non-legendary pokemon left that doesn't evolve?).
I wish they stopped making up new pokemon and started using the time and gameplay they don't have to bother about anymore for bigger games.
yes...the games are starting to get repetitive.
Like I said, the best ones were the classic red and blue versions. They had the original 150, and those guys are still the best!
They need to make a Pokémon MMORPG. :-* Anyway, I think the game they are about to announce is most likely Wiilda. They recently announced that it's been in development for a year, AND that it'll be released sooner rather than later.
