Title: This is odd.
Post by: Mysterious F. on January 25, 2007, 03:26:13 PM
On Wikipedia, link is under their list of 'Fictional characters with the power to manipulate wind".

Now most of you will immediately start off by saying Wikipedia is fake, but it has something.

a)He can use the Wind Waker to control the wind. Few people have the ability to use that ability.

b)It is revealed in Minish Cap that each color of the Link's robes in the Four Swords series represents one of the Four Elements: Red is Fire (the Fire Element was red), Blue is water, purple is earth, and green is wind. Link is always wearing a green tunic in the games. Also mentionable is that the Four Elements are visible in the opening scene of FS, on four pillars just before the Sword Mantle.

c)He can walk on Cloud Tops, and one of the Wind Tribers mentioned that you need good control of wind or a pure heart to do that. He has both.

d)Fire and Ice Arrows, Gale Boomerang, and other weapons like that were made to directly harnass the power of an element to increase their power. Anyone with enough magic power can use them, in reality.

e)He becomes the Hero of Winds

Now isn't that something.

I think Link could be a lot of things. Remember, there are over five in the storyline. I think TWW Link is the wind one, the others aren't.

What about that Elements/tunics thing I just mentioned. Although, the Four Sword (powered by the Elements they represent) could have done alot to help this.

I still think it depends on which Link it is. He always has some power or another. Whether it be Time, Wind, Twilight, or an incredibly strong bladder that can hold up for hours of playing time. Then again he always has that.

Just as they all have the power to go days without food, drink, or sleep.  So he apparently doesn't have a strong bladder that can hold for hours of play time.  It's probably a normal one.

without flippers anyways. and he also has the ability to breath through his tunic, and a tunic with gills lets him stay underwater.

And he can't jump, either, but because of a dumb feather or a pretty cape he can!

His tunic defies gravity when he's magnetically hanging from the ceiling.
