Title: interesting stuff
Post by: Evahn on January 27, 2007, 11:18:20 AM
This can be a topic where everyone can put the interesting/funny, yet overall unimportant, things they find in TP. Here's some stuff I found:

In the wrestling room in Mayor Bo's house, there are three signs on the wall, all talking about wrestling techniques. The last one says "Raise and stomp your foot to show off your manliness."

Hena's fishing shop is full of funny stuff, but I'm going to assume you guys know about most of that.

I had some others, but I can't remember them at the moment.

Your turn.

Before you enter Arbiter's Grounds, you have to "infiltrate" a Bulblin camp. Near the end, before you fight King Bulblin, there's a fire with a Bulbo roasting on a spit. Eww. Don't they ride those things? :o

yes, but I have a feeling they play the role of livestock as well.

Commodore, attack the bore with your sword and a heart falls out. Attack alot for a while and it will break, revealing a Piece of Heart.

I know that. I just thought that it was weird that they'd eat their mounts.

well, they're smart enough not to let it go to waste when one dies.

Besides, King Bulblin showed how much they care about their mounts.  ::) I can't stand cruelty to animals.

so what did you do in the boar fight? Pick off all the riders with arrows?

Hey, the boars got up and it's not like I had much of a choice. KB certainly didn't need to hit the boar or leave it there to burn.

Actually I do not blame him for doing that, if I was him I would too. He probably did to make sure Link did not try to get on it and attack him on the boar or try to escape.

Or maybe he was hungry... ::)

Ew ew ew, I hate Animal Cruelty too! Dx

I think it's interesting that I suck so bad at fishing. D: You catch pieces of heart, bottles, bags of ruppees, and Sinking lures. ... Maybe it's just me, but I think Link would starve if given only a fishing rod. (Yes, you can buy food with the ruppees, but...)

Oh, another interesting thing is Colin's picture in his house. It's not OMG interesting, but... his drawing is weird. I can't remember at the moment, but he drew himself in some... weird... I think something girly. I can't remember. Dx

King Bulbin scares me, by the way. He can talk, doesn't that terrify anyone? D:

If you go down into Link's basement to where the mirror is and turn off the lantern and go into first person and look toward the mirror you can see Links eyes.

You can take out the fishing rod during the fight with Ganon and he completely drops his defenses and stares at the fishhook. xD

If you run into a wall during the huge horseback fight in hyrule field all the boars chasing you will ram the wall and send their riders flying twenty feet.

You don't want to know...

You can swip your sword at the kids while they are doing a tutorial and they will react.

The food in the market. I was like: OH YAY! LINK CAN FINALLY EAT!

Then you go to pick up the bread and no matter what it always has a lame excuse for why you can't get some.

Beating up Twilight people. I feel bad afterwords, because they are so sad... :'(

EDIT: Found a new one. Transform into a wolf in Jovani's yard and go to the STAR game, when you go in, he talks about his dog allergies. BTW, why does nobody notice Midna? And if you talk to the oil lantern guy(with the afro) as a wolf he will say a bunch of different things. And the last thing he says is that you must be misunderstood and that people treat you like a beast just because you are a wolf.

I like when you catch a bag of rupees and the text says "Well, you don't know who's it is, so it's okay to take it!"

When do you catch a bag of rupees?

If you go bobber fishing in pretty much any place, you can catch fish native to that area, trash, or a bag of rupees. xD;

Speaking of bobber fishing, you can catch Skullfish in the water temple. xD I just did it for fun.

When you're riding on Epona, if you swing your sword immediately after dashing, Link will hold his sword above his head looking like a true horseback fighter.
