Well, I'm planning on a new story. No details explained, except it begins with Link returning to Hyrule after leaving Termina. Unless you played every Zelda game, it is very difficult to understand.
Anymore details you can spare?
Nope. :)
I'll probably have the first chapter by the end of the day, then you'll understand the story pretty much.
Here comes chapter one:
Chapter One
Everyone was sitting down, all of them wearing white robes with hoods that covered all of their bodies except their upper faces, so they could see. Even their upper faces, though, could not be seen, do to the hoods, which cast a shadow over their face.
Even if you the shadow weren't there, however, you wouldn't be able to see their faces where they were. They were in a small cave, very dark, and a small bit damp. The only light at all came from one of the nine people sitting in the cave, who resonated both a red and blue light.
"When will our Leader get here?" one of them, apparently tired of waiting, asked to break the silence of the area. This one was the second smallest of them all, and from the hole where this one's upper face is, two large, yellow eyes resonated an eerie glow that was very disturbing. The voice was very childish.
"He'll be here soon enough," replied one from the other side of the room. The voice from that body was very deep and haunting, and apparently a male voice. He was, although not the tallest one here, very tall. "He had some business to take care of. Very important business we can't avoid."
"We can't start this meeting without him," a third voice said. This one was female, and from the hole came a small bit of bright red hair blocking one of her eyes. She seemed to be creepy. "And if this is delayed any longer we will never succeed."
"But whatever it is, it must be..." Resonated yet another voice from the shadows.
They all turned their attention to where the voice was coming from. From the shadows appeared a tenth white-robed figure. His voice was younger than most of the others, only sounding like he was in his late teens. Still, the voice had a largely mysterious flow to it, but in a very polite manner.
"...important, don't you think?" The person finished, still walking forward toward the rest of them. "Sorry my being late bothers you, but what I was doing was more serious than you think."
"So you finally showed up." echoed the voice that earlier asked where he was. "So, just what were you doing that is so special?"
The tenth robed figure remained silent, not wanting to reveal what kept him so long.
"Go on, tell us." a new voice worded from the one that glowed the red and blue lights. This one was old and haggy, and definitely female. From her robe came two noses, very pointy and long. Unlike the others, also, she had four eyes looking around from inside of the robe.
"Yes." the voice continued, but in a way that seemed like it was talking to herself. "We would like to find out what has delayed your appearance."
The tenth robed figure finally got tired of waiting and finally answered their cries.
"I was following the very person we all want to kill." He said, and then very slowed followed his statement with the name "Link."
They all then became much more interested in what he was saying. One of them even let out a small gasp.
"You mean," another voice said. This one came from the least tallest person in the room, and this one voice was a little squeaky, and it was clearly angry. "You were following him this entire time and didn't tell us?!"
"Relax." answered the voice questioned. "It was a good chance to see how he's grown. Besides, now that we know..."
This voice once again said this slowly, but not as slow as before.
"In two months, all of our goals, including Link's death, will be accomplished.
You have a couple of grammatical errors, that changed the meaning of the sentence a bit. Other than that it was good.
What were they?
In the 1st sentence, 2nd paragraph there is a grammatical mistake.
You spelled robed wrong, you said robbed like robber.
You spelled many words wrong. Use spell-check.
Okay, I'm writning a different story now:
Prequel[/b]
Bla Bal Bal, explains OOT and MM, then Link returns to Hyurle 10, and:
When he returned, however, he realized something; his Triforce of Courage was gone. The Triforce was made purely to exist only in Hyrule, and when Link moved out of it, the Triforce had to leave him.
Without Navi, without the Triforce of Courage, without the Master Sword, and without the friends he once had, who believed he died; Link was tormented. He had lost a reason to live and even considered suicide.
Then, one day, a man had walked up to this poor child. With blond hair like Link's and a shadowy look in his eyes, he told him that his questions could be answered if he followed him to the Temple of Time. Link, not knowing what to do, followed him, and his life changed in a way that would lead to Hyrule as it is today.
The man turned out to be Link's father, who was actually alive, and the person who died was only someone who looked like him. He was the secret leader of an organization of powerful criminals called the Evil Crime Syndicate, which was a 20 member criminal organization planning to conquer Hyrule. Link's father then picked up the Master Sword and used a power that Link had never used with it, his father released a giant wave of energy that destroyed the temple. He then turned to his son, telling him that he was weak and that the only way to change that was to follow him and conquer Hyrule. Link had decided to follow him. Without the Master Sword or the Triforce, and with the neglectors who had uncared for him influencing his life, he had discovered the thirst for power that was in him all along. Link had betrayed everything he once thought mattered and his soul became corrupted.
The Evil Crime Syndicate then proceeded to conquer Hyrule, and had captured a member of a group called the Desert Colossus named Shikamaru Nara. All seemed to be successful, when one day Shikamaru was rescued and their headquarters, a small cave on the northeastern mountain, was destroyed. Shikamaru then told his fellow members descriptions of the criminals and his terrifying experience there.
Deciding to have some fun, the Link's Father ordered his second in command to spread the message across Hyrule that the Syndicate was hosting a competition. They asked for anyone who wanted to destroy the Evil Crime Syndicate to come to Hyrule Castle and fight them. Many wishing to destroy their tormentors went, but they were challenged by a preliminary test to defeat a servant of the syndicate. Even though the best of Hyrule's former army couldn't pass this test, seven people did pass.
I originally planned ofr a long, simply wonderful three page story explaining OOT, MM, and this, (this part is only 1 page) but the post was too long.
Yes, that is the member Shikamaru Nara, and we are hte group. The only reference to the sitye in the stroy.
Sorry so many spelling maistake outside the sorey, but I have been writning for an hour and I'm really... I shouldnt' use thatr word.
I liked it, you spelled father wrong every time you used the word.
Really. The way it sounds you think it has an R before the T. And I'm not a speller.
Chapter One: Introducing...
"Congratulations on beating the preliminaries." Said a small midget coming out of the shadows next to the seven victors. "I'm Pumpernickel, and I'll be the ref for the competition."
The seven of them each looked at this mysterious character, and wondered what would happen to them. It was quite a scene; seven people who probably didn't know each other were going to fight the most powerful criminals in existence. I remember that day easily; I was in the shadows, watching them, and perplexing what would happen to them. I can remember their appearances just as easily.
They were all lined up in a line, each one standing side to side from another. The one on the far right could be called the most perplexing of all of them. He had long, light brown hair that went down to his upper back, and was wearing a strange business suit, one that had feathers wear the shoulders were. His personality and actions also amazed me; stuttering speech, girlish behavior, and never having been afraid to show his emotions, he was considered insane by some villagers. He's powerful, more powerful than I could have imagined. He maybe about 14, possibly 13, it was hard to tell.
Then there was the next to him; on his left was a kid also his age that was also weird looking. He had very long, black spiky hair maybe 5 ½ inches long. Wearing black pants and weird tennis shoes with a small Triforce symbol on them, combined with his white shirt with long sleeves, he looked more modern than possible for Hyrule. His personality was also amazing, he was always serious, and possibly had a dark attitude that wanted power. You could tell just by looking at his eyes he had a reason to be here.
Next was a pretty girl wearing a sea themed pink ball dress, covered in seashells and corals and such stuff from the sea. She also was wearing a large, curly seashell on her head as a hat, covering most of her blond hair, and on her face was a small starfish painting on her left cheek. She was smiling, and the way she smiled suggested she was always happy.
Then was her brother, in the middle, who also had blond hair. He had his set in a spiky fashion, though not as spiky as the one earlier. He looked nothing else like her, wearing a large jacket with a neckband that covered his lower face, so only his eyes were visible. He had a personality mostly serious, but not overly so, and could actually be happy.
To his left was a boy with a brown sage robe, and holding a wooden cane with a small, tiny tree coming out that was the size of a book. He had brown hair, and a perpetually rather, slightly dumb expression on his face. His personality was cheerful and short tempered.
Then there was another boy to his left. Forget what I said earlier, HE was the most modern of them all. With blue spiky hair and a blue cap covering a lot of it, his head alone looked strange. He was wearing light blue shorts and a yellow shirt with short sleeves only going down to his elbows; he was almost a circus freak. He was smart, though, and powerful, more than any of the others that passed.
Finally there was a red haired boy with extremely pointy ears and an extremely happy personality. He was wearing a very large white shirt almost too big for him, and white, poofy Arabian style pants. He was very cheerful.
"Well then, people!" Pumpernickel yelled to an audience that suddenly appeared, they were just late to come watch them fight. "These are the ones who passed, from right to left: Rolan, Alviss, Aqua, Leno, Jack, Alan, and Jin!"
I liked this chapter more than the Prolouge. Why is his name Pumpenickel?
I don't know, I just felt like it. :P
I want to mention this, but this is Hyrule Castle they are fighting at. It's become the Evil Crime Syndicate's base of operations.
Chapter Two: Round One begins!
"Well then, Round One will start tomorrow." Pumpernickel announced to the audience and the contestants. "It will be three of the Evil Crime Syndicate members against three of these seven contestants in one on one matches. The one with the most victories wins, but even if one of them wins two matches before the third takes place, we still fight all the matches. The rules are simple: you will fight in an arena, fall out of it, surrender, die, or if I judge you cannot go on, you lose. If two matches were one by one fighting team, and the other by the other, then only the contestant from the team who won one battle who won the battle may go on to fight for that team, the other two can no longer fight. Well then, I suggest you choose who fights tomorrow."
"I'm fighting." Alviss immediately told the six others, right when Pumpernickel stopped talking, in an extremely you-can't–stop-me-from-doing-so tone.
"So will I." Leno said.
"I will to!" Aqua proclaimed with a very happy tone.
"Alright then." Pumpernickel responded, and quickly took out a piece of paper from his jacket and wrote their names on it. Next to their names were three others names: Caton, Ian, and Pano.
"Hey!" Jack yelled at the three, apparently annoyed. "I wanted to fight tomorrow!"
"There will be other opportunities." Pumpernickel exclaimed. "So, just be patient."
Jack let out an angered "HMPH!" and turned his head in the opposite direction from Alviss, Aqua, and Leno.
"Well then, some servants will lead you to your rooms." A man dressed in a black robe with a hood shadowing his face that suddenly appeared mentioned to the contestants.
"We get rooms?" Rolan asked with an incredibly happy tone. "YAY!"
This is when Alviss suddenly turned around and walked away, when another robed man came and led him to his room.
Meanwhile, watching from the audience was a man just a few years older than the fighters was watching them. He was wearing a gray mask with eyeholes covered in one-way vision glass, so his eyes were not visible. He had black spiky hair, and was wearing a white jacket, decorated with a few military badges wear his left chest was, that had stretched to his feet, though it opened where the waste was. This figure had black pants and had modern businessman's shoes on. Staring at them with great interest, when Alviss left he suddenly disappeared from the crowd.
The next day, Alviss, Leno, and Aqua had walked into the arena where the fights would take place, with Pumpernickel already waiting for them. Rolan, Jack, Alan, and Jin were in a special section of the audience reserved for them that had a very good view from the arena.
The gate on the other side of the arena opened, and three black robed figures stepped out. None of them had faces that could be seen, so what they looked like was a mystery.
"Alright." Pumpernickel said to these six fighters. "We will now start today's matches. Keep in mind that this could also be considered a death match, so try to stay alive. Now then, who will go first?"
Alviss then stepped onto arena, while an enemy walked onto it at the same time.
"Round One: Match One: Alviss vs. Ian! Begin!" Pumpernickel yelled, while the opponent suddenly removed the cloak he was wearing and revealed his identity.
Chapter Three: Alviss vs. Ian
The mysterious opponent threw his robe away, while it blew into the audience. Standing before Alviss was a man wearing all white, with the exception of a black belt around his waste and a black headband on his forehead. He had brown hair that was only about 1 centimeter tall. His expression: Angry and powerful.
"I am Ian." This person said and looked at him ferociously. "I am a master of martial arts. This is where participation ends."
Suddenly, Ian jumped into the air and kicked his foot into Alviss's face, knocking him back a few feet. Ian then jumped over Alviss and kicked him on the floor, and then preceded that by slamming his arm into his opponent's stomach, causing Alviss to cough up blood.
"Told you he would lose." A satisfied Ian proclaimed while turning his back on Alviss and beginning to walk away.
Suddenly, Ian felt a hand on his shoulder, and turned his head to see that Alviss, who looked unharmed from that attack, staring at him with a disgusted look in his eyes.
"And here I thought I could get a challenge." The young boy whispered to Ian, as if he had the upper hand.
"Says you!" Ian yelled and quickly smacked Alviss's hand off his shoulder and elbowed him in the stomach with his free arm.
Ian then turned around to face his attacker, and transformed his hands into fists. Proceeding to clobber Alviss, Ian covered his fists in magic power to make them move even quicker. Unable to block or dodge his incredible strength, Alviss had to take everything Ian gave him, and received what he thought was a broken bone. Deciding to finish this, Ian jumped five feet in the air and kicked Alviss in the chest, launching him five or six feet away, while Alviss only let out a small "Heh." Alviss pointed his right fist at Ian still in the air, which for some reason began to glow a yellowish color.
"Lighting Bolt!" Alviss yelled while his hand became covered in electricity.
The electricity suddenly launched itself at Ian, making a terrifying crackling sound in the process. Lightning covered Ian, and he began screaming in pain. Cutting Ian's shirt, blood began to leak out, which evaporated immediately do to the lightning. When the blow ended, Ian was suddenly launched backwards out of the arena into a wall, and then fell off it onto the ground below. He looked terrible, one of his eyes had a scar on it, there was a small amount of blood dripping from his mouth, and there were several bleeding cuts on his arms, chest, stomach, and legs. Ian then tilted his head up with the last of his energy and looked confused at Alviss.
"When I touched your shoulder," Alviss explained. "I sent a small electric charge into your brain that made you do all those punches and kicks. I knew you couldn't dodge in midair, so I had you do all those things only to get you in that position. Then, you lost."
"So, you use lightning, huh kid?" Ian asked, and then his head dropped and faced the floor, as he fell unconscious.
Alan, who was watching from the audience, looked at Alviss with an interested look on his eye, and let out a small smile, thinking they already won this competition.
"Victor: Alviss!" Pumpernickel yelled, while Alviss jumped backwards off the arena. "So, who's next?"
One of the syndicate members walked up and let out "I guess it's my turn!"
"I want to fight next." Leno said as he stood up and moved towards his opponent.
Chapter Four: Leno vs. Caton
"Round One: Match Two: Leno vs. Caton! Begin!" The tiny ref said as he jumped back to get out of the crossfire, while the robed figure in front of Leno removed their robe.
Standing in front of Leno was probably the most cat-obsessed person in the world. Wearing a small cat tag on her neck, a tiny black bikini top, black boots that went to the bottom of her knees, and extremely tiny peach colored short shorts with a small chibi-cat shaped key chain hanging form them, she wore rather strange clothing. Here face had a smile on it, both a happy one and a victorious smile. Coming from her red hair were two, fuzzy cat ears, and from her tiny pants came a long, pink, fuzzy cat tail with a small gold band around the middle of it. She also accessorized her fingers with chibi-cat rings.
Caton took no time introducing herself to her opponent, letting out an exited "MEOOOWWW!!" before saying "I'm Caton... PRRR!" with a rather musical touch to it.
Leno was very surprised such a person existed, and was also surprised by something else.
Turning around, he almost desperately asked, "Can you swap with me, Aqua?" as if his life depended on it.
"Once the challenge has been made, you're stuck here." Pumpernickel answered his question. This got Leno even more worried.
Next to Alviss, his sister had her mouth drop ridiculously to the floor and just stared in shock. Alviss looked at her as if she had just had bad sushi.
"What's wrong?" he asked Aqua while keeping his face on Leno to see what his teammate could do.
"He's allergic to cats." Aqua replied as if she lost hope for this battle.
At this moment Alviss, and Rolan, Jack, Alan, and Jin, who heard Aqua state this to Alviss, suddenly let their mouths drop to the floor, quite literally. So much force had been added to this sudden drop that it dropped through the floor, while Alan looked like he wanted to leave so he wouldn't see the terrible outcome that was coming.
"Looks like I'm fighting first!" Caton suddenly yelled and suddenly jumped forward towards Leno.
Suddenly directing her hands towards Leno, her nails began to grow into sharp, 5-inch long cat claws. Do to both the sudden quickness of this attack and Leno's fear of cats; the attacked fighter would not have had any chance of dodging even if he could. The attack was very painful, leaving Leno with several claws marks ripped and into his shirt and chest, he began some light bleeding. Landing on the ground on all fours below Leno, Caton suddenly swiftly hits Leno's legs with her arm and catching him off balance, making him fall off the arena.
"Victor: Caton!" Pumpernickel yelled to the audience, all of which were booing, hissing, and one person even through some garbage at Leno.
"I... hate... cats." Leno sadly groaned under his breath while a banana peal landed on his face.
"Meow!" Caton, who was standing now, purred with glee, raising her hand up while pointing her index and middle finger up like a V.
Everyone suddenly turned to the last enemy, the one Aqua was going to face, which already leapt onto the arena and said, "My turn, at last." with a truly eerie, female voice.
Aqua, with a determined look on her smiling face, just said "What an eerie voice." As she starred at her playfully.
Chapter Five: Aqua vs. Pano 1
Alan watched Aqua get onto the stadium and face her opponent, and felt anxious about watching these two, knowing this was a deciding battle. Suddenly, he felt something on his foot and looked down to see a blue baby turtle on his foot.
"Hey Katon," Alan said as he picked up the turtle and held him within face view. "When did you get out of your tank?"
"Is Katon your pet? It's cute!" Rolan asked immediately spoke.
"Yep." The person holding the turtle answered as he placed the turtle on top his hat so Katon could see.
"Round One: Match Three: Aqua vs. Pano! Begin!" Pumpernickel yelled as he quickly jumped back to avoid anything.
"You cannot beet me." Pano yelled as she cuffed her two hands together. "You're too weak.
"Crow Hurricane!"
Pano then released her hands, and in her right hand was a small crow. The crow began to flap its wings, causing a few feathers to fall to the ground. Suddenly, another crow flew out of the one in Pano's hand, and another soon followed. Another crow flew out, and then two more, and another two, and then three others. Then seemingly endless crows flew out of the original one, covering the entire arena from the audience's view. The crows were flying all over the arena, and the curtain of these black birds blocked Aqua's view of Pano, although it seems Pano could still see Aqua.
Pano then pulled out a knife that was blackened to match the hurricane of crows. Almost invisible in the cloud of black birds, she began to walk forward towards where Aqua was.
"I'll just kill you when you least expect it." Pano thought to herself as she stepped closer and closer to her target.
"Oh, I see," Aqua, whispering, said to her opponent. "You're going to attack me while I'm blinded. Unfortunately, that isn't going to work."
"Water Tendrils!"
From under the crows' black cloud a few cracks in the arena floor appeared. As they grew larger, some water began sprouting out of the cracks, forming small puddles in the ground. The cracks then exploded, sending small chunks of pavement a few feet in the air, some of which hit a few crows. Shooting out of the holes were many large tendrils of water, flexing out of the ground and launching themselves towards the crows. Stabbing right through each crow's heart, as soon as one was killed they would shoot themselves towards the next. As some crows tried to fly away, the tendrils followed, and finished all of the off. When they all died, they each exploded into purple smoke and disappeared.
Everyone in the audience was surprised, some of them gasped, even more applauded.
"She killed every crow!" a surprised Jin yelled. "How is that possible?"
"She's skilled, very skilled to be able to do stuff at that level." Alan managed to say over the crowd.
Pano just stood there shocked that this could happen, and quickly pulled out anther dagger and began spinning both in her hands wildly.
"Dagger Tornadoes!"
Pano suddenly threw her knives at Aqua. The daggers began to spin wildly, and then a small, black tornado formed around each and they began to spin towards Aqua, who then just sent the tendrils at the spinning daggers and pushed them away, still smiling this entire time. The daggers each stabbed through a wall on the opposite side of the arena. Pano just angrily looked at Aqua and began to mumble under her breath.
"I'll get serious now." she said as she took out a small black marble-like sphere and threw it in the air.
Chapter Six: Aqua vs. Pano 2
"I can't lose to you!" Pano angrily yelled angrily towards her opponent. "I'm a Blue Rupee rank servant to the Syndicate."
"Blue Rupee?" Aqua confusingly asked.
"The Syndicate is divided into ranking systems by power." The enemy answered. "Green is the lowest rank. The other two were Green, and Caton was the number one ranking green. Then there is Blue, which are the ones that have what it takes to be promoted into the syndicate. Yellow are the three lowest ranking official members. Red are the four above them. The next twelve are called the Knight of the Zodiac. The lowest seven of them are Purple Rupee rank. Next the four above them are Orange Rupee rank. The second in command is Silver Rupee rank. The leader has the most powerful rank: Huge Rupee.
"I'm going to prove to you my power, and then I'll be promoted once I defeat more of you snot nosed brats!" The woman finished, and suddenly the small black sphere exploded in the air, filling the area in a cloud of smoke. The smoke blocked the view of everyone, not even Pano could see. When the smoke disappeared in the wind, several audience members gasped at the site they were seeing. Flapping its wings above the arena, the large bird looked down at Aqua. A giant crow, with blood red eyes and a large, dark purple colored magic power covering it, perched onto one of the many towers of the castle and continued to stare down at the arena. Suddenly giving out a large caw, it immediately flew off its tower and started to project itself towards Aqua.
The many tendrils around Aqua then took action, launching towards her giant obstacle that appeared before everyone. The tendrils could easily stab through something of this standard, but the size of the body muscles did not help at all, making it much harder for the beast to be killed. The tendrils constantly stabbed through the beast, hitting as many life points as possible each time. Within only 30 seconds, it seemed that the only thing holding the bird together were the tendrils, having nearly been cut to pieces. Finally, the demonic bird died, and suddenly disappeared in a poof of purple smoke.
The audience was shocked once again by Aqua, and almost every member of the audience began to applaud for her, and Alan let out a small gasp.
"That much precise control form so far away," Alan thought, "And such long tendrils. She's amazing. It's surprising that she hasn't collapsed yet."
Alviss stood there watching, formerly watching Leno get carried away by paramedics. He too was extremely shocked at this amazing show of her abilities, and couldn't wait to see how it ended. He seemed disappointed by something, however, and looked even more serious than usual.
"I bet Pano won't take this very well." Caton said, yet she seemed rather happy saying this.
Pano was standing there, the black robed woman shocked that a fourteen year old had neutralized her most powerful ability.
"I..." she said in a very amazed tone. "I... I... I'm losing... to this runt?"
"That's not all I can do!" Aqua joyfully said as she side jumped off of where she was standing.
The entire spot Aqua was just on suddenly got shot into the air by a giant pilar of water. Crashing down onto the arena floor, it shot itself towards Pano. Acting like a river, swirling and rapidly moving towards Pano on the floor, the end of it transformed into a large hand, and when it reached Pano the hand suddenly grabbed onto her and took her with it towards the wall outside the arena. It suddenly crashed into the wall, and she, of course, crashed with it. Coughing up a little blood, Pano let out a small gasp of pain, and then suddenly landed on the ground, the water letting go of her and retreating back into the hole. This is when Ian suddenly woke up and looked over to, surprisingly, see Pano get beaten.
"Pano's out of bounds!" the ref suddenly yelled to the crowd. "The winner: Aqua! Aqua, Avliss, and Leno have won today's round!"
This is when the crowd suddenly started yelling, very happy that they had gotten to see and exiting battle so early. They all left, talking about Aqua and Pano's fight as if it were all that mattered. Alan, who was still holding Katon, Jack, Rolan, and Jin suddenly dropped down onto the arena floor, and looked up at Aqua and Alviss.
"Are you two all right?" Alan asked, still holding Katon, asked the two victors.
"Yeah," Alviss told him in a disgruntled tone.
"I'm fine!" Aqua happily yelled, causing Alan to let out a small smile.
"Good." He said. "We'll need you two later, and Leno, too."
"Alviss," a medic who suddenly appeared out of nowhere said, "You seem to have been injured in your fight with Ian. You're coming with us to receive some medical treatment."
"I'll still be able to fight tomorrow, right?" Alviss asked.
"I'm afraid not, neither can Leno. The five of you will have to decide." The medic replied.
"Oh yeah," Pumpernickel suddenly said from the ground. "Who's fighting tomorrow?"
"Me!" Jack immediately answered, not wanting to miss another day.
"I'll go." Alan said with an exited look on his face.
"So will I!" Jin went.
"Its decided then." The tiny ref said and walked away to announce the viewers who had left earlier.
"We'll be back for those two in a minute." The medic said as he led Alviss towards a few other medics.
"Well, let's get some sleep." Jin suddenly yawned as he walked away from the arena, with the others following him.
Chapter Seven: Toby
As the victorious team left to their rooms, Caton, Pano, and Ian stayed where they were. Ian was barely able to stand up, while Pano had to lean against the wall so she could stand. Caton looked at them disappointed, especially at Pano.
"You guys didn't even show 50% of your power!" Caton yelled angrily at her two comrades. "You're much stronger than this, especially you, Pano, because..."
"Shut Up!" Pano screamed at her teammate, apparently more angered than Caton thought. "The only reason you won is because he's allergic to cats! You have no right talking to me like that!"
"Actually she does." Said a voice out of nowhere, and all three of them suddenly turned their attention to the wall to the Caton's left of the pair. The voice sounded like that of someone in their late teens, and whoever it was was probably 18 or 19. One of the bricks moved forward out of the wall, and then another, and one after that, and soon a large, door-shaped hole appeared in the wall. Standing on the other side of the whole was the same masked person who was watching Alviss, Alan, Rolan, and the other four yesterday from the audience. The only difference in appearance today was his earring: a tiny Orange Rupee replica. He only didn't wear the earring yesterday because he didn't want anyone to know who he really was. He was a Zodiac, and a high ranking one to make matters worse.
"She managed to win, and she, with her latest training achievements, is just as strong as you are, Pano. Plus, you had an even tougher opponent. Both of you."
The figure than just looked at the three of them with his arms crossed and muttered "Yo."
"Hello Toby." Pano said disgustingly to the person who suddenly appeared.
"Your reports on today's Round?" Toby asked them as if Pano hadn't said that.
"Well," Caton answered, "They lost both their matches. I won."
"I already know that." He replied back. "I want to know how strong those two were."
"That witch girl, Aqua," Pano immediately worded. "She was very powerful, maybe even more than the top Blue Rupee ranker."
"Mine was also...tough." Ian managed to mutter out. "He... uses lightning."
Toby just glared at Ian as if he was the only one that lost, and then managed to, without killing him, mutter, "Yes, I see.
"Next time we'll kill them." Pano said to her superior, which caused Toby to suddenly turn his head towards her.
"Come here." He angrily mumbled, which caused her to shake with fear. Pano immediately walked slowly towards him, as if she didn't know what she was doing, and just being controlled to.
"For either of you, next time won't come." He said as he held his arms out from his body. Suddenly, a sword came out from under each sleeve, and he quickly moved his arms in the direction of the two, almost instantly slicing right through their bodies. Drops of blood landed below them, and their bodies fell to the ground. Ian just stared down at them, and let go of the blades, making them fall on their bodies.
"But as for Caton," he continued, "Caton, to fill in the hole that just appeared in the Blue Rupee rank, you're promoted by orders of Leader."
"Um, thanks," Caton nervously said to Ian, very aware of how angry he got.
Ian then turned around and walked back into the hole in the wall, the bricks rebuilding themselves behind him. Not wanting to be found next to Ian's rage, she suddenly used her claws to climb up the wall and into the stands, where she walked away to get some sleep for tomorrow.
Chapter Eight: Meetings
As Alan was feeding Katon some special food he developed for the turtle, he looked out the window to behold the beautiful sights of the castle. Among one of the worlds most spectacular sights, Hyrule Castle is one of the few truly beautiful places left in Hyrule after the Evil Crime Syndicate rampaged the kingdom. Staring out the window, a large room on top of a tower above his room caught his eye. The lights were still on, and a shadow was standing in front of the window. Whatever it was, Alan knew it was none of his business, along with the fact that he wouldn't know what was going on there, and decided it was time for him to get some sleep.
Inside of the tower, the room was a very dark place despite the candles. Mounted on the walls were several spears, swords, shields, and various other weapons. On one side was a large, dark wooden arched doorway, with a pillar supporting the high ceiling above the room. On the opposite end of the room was a small throne, and sitting in it was a blond haired man wearing a desert poncho. His hair was very much like Link's, except wavier and having a strange shine to it. The person's expression was a bored one, and in his eyes were sheer darkness. This person was wearing a large, gold rupee-like earring that dangles from his Hylian ears, the color and size the leader of the syndicate wore.
The person wasn't sitting right on the throne either. Instead of having his body face forward with his feet on the floor, he was laying on it like it was a couch; with his feet dangling off of one of the arm rests. He had a small red ball in his hand which he kept tossing a foot into the air, and then let it fall back down into his hand, where he would throw it back up again.
Also in the room was someone who was kneeling in front of the window, looking outside at the night sky. A boy a little over ten, he had almost no expression at all, and was just staring at the stars because it seemed he had nothing better to do. This person was Link. He looked exactly the same, except he was wearing a purple rupee earring on one of his ears, and a necklace with a small pendant in front of his chest. On the pendant was the symbol for the Zodiac astrological sign Gemini.
The large wooden doors suddenly opened. Someone quite tall wearing a very large closed cape covering his entire body came into the room, the cape so long it shielded his feet. As if to hide himself entirely, he had a large collar jumping up from the cape that went higher than his head, so his face remained unknown as well. The only things you could see besides the cape were two necklaces coming out of the cape, one of a silver rupee and another that had the Zodiac symbol for Scorpio on it.
"Leader," the person who entered the room said with what could be the creepiest voice ever imaginable, "The First Round has ended in victory for the enemies, but Caton won her battle. We've already decided who fights tomorrow: Caton, Sebastian, and Clowny.
"I see." The Leader said as he kept his eyes on the ball he was still tossing. "Soon actual members will get to fight, and if we're lucky the powers of a Zodiac could be shown."
"What do you mean?" the silver rupee wearing person spoke through his collar.
"Don't you feel rather bored sometimes with us always winning?" The mysterious Leader pondered, "It gets boring always winning. We should have someone who's powerful enough oppose us for once. It gets very boring to win forever. And also, we might get a chance to show of the Zodiac's power, and destroy the will of anyone who wishes to rebel, witnessing their almost infinite power."
"You mean the eleven people I have to take care of every day?" the strange visitor asked. "As the second most powerful of us, I am the commander of the army and the head of the Zodiac. Including your kid."
Link, who was secretly listening, heard this and his ears twitched a little.
"Honestly," the second in command continued, "I must deal with those brats every day, and they're a total pain."
"Now now." The Leader announced, "Don't be so mean, they are the most powerful in the organization under me. It would be very bad if we didn't have them. Remember when he quit? It's good he still loyal to us, he just didn't want to be bossed around by the two of us.
"And now, because we have completed so many steps in our plan, world domination and our other two goals will be a synch."
Chapter Nine: Jin vs. Caton 1
"Good morning!" Pumpernickel greeted the three contestants as they walked towards the arena. "'Sleep well last night?"
"Uhuh," Alan answered for them, not taking in consideration that Jack needed to use his tree cane to stand up.
"Great," Pumpernickel replied. "You'll be having trouble today. Caton is fighting again, along with the top two blue rupee rankers. After seeing yesterday, Caton was promoted to Blue rank, I might add. The syndicate realizes that Green rupees are a waste of members to put up against you guys. Plus, they need to send a lot of them throughout Hyrule for defense."
"That's just great!" Jack yelled when the ref concluded.
"Okay then!" the ref yelled to the crowd, "Here's the Syndicate members fighting today!"
From the small arch across the courtyard the arena was in, three figures appeared and walked towards them. One was Caton, the other two were wearing black robes.
"I'm first! Meoooww!" Caton joyfully said as she jumped onto the arena.
"I'll take her on," Jin announced as he walked onto it. "I want to get revenge for what that cat girl did to our teammate."
"Round Two: Match One: Jin vs. Caton! Begin!"
"You're too strong for my regular cat nails." Caton revealed to her opponent, "Mabye these will work."
"Magic Cat Claws!"
From out of nowhere, both of her hands got covered in Magic Power that glowed a bright yellow. From the fingers extended large claws that were made of this energy.
"Here I come!" Caton yelled as she ran towards Jin.
"This might be easier than I thought." Jin whispered as he jumped into the air over Caton and landed behind her.
"He can jump far." Aqua, who was in the audience with Rolan, who was holding Katon for Alan, and Leno. Alviss was resting from the broken bone he got yesterday, but he'd be here to watch at least the last match.
"Very far!" Jin, who overheard her say that, laughed out as he jumped strait towards Caton, still facing the other direction. Pointing his fist towards his opponent, he smiled as he was about to hit her. Out of nowhere, Caton suddenly ducked, and Jin flew strait over her and landed, face first, on the arena floor.
"You still have no control in the air!" Caton purred as she jumped directly above Jin and began to fall towards him, pointing her claws at him. Jin managed to see this and quickly rolled out of the way just in time. When she landed, Jin suddenly kicked her away from him, and she landed quite a few feet away.
"You're wrong!" Jin, smiling, replied to her statement and let out a small laugh. "In fact..."
Jin suddenly jumped into the air a few yards and, when he reached the height of his jump, just suddenly floated there in the air.
"...I have perfect control in the air."
"Unbelievable!" Jack yelled surprised as he began to lean forward to watch. "He can control wind! There are only a few left in Hyrule!"
"I'm also amazed." Alan said back to him. "It takes a lot of effort to stay in the air, so, my guess is, he's pretty good at controlling wind. I'm surprised he doesn't wear green."
Chapter Ten: Jin vs. Caton 2; Jack vs. Clowny 1
"Well then," Jin said as he floated higher into the air, away from her reach. "I think I've won this, correct?"
"Don't act all superior because of one blow!" Caton yelled, though still in a slightly happy tone, to her enemy. "Extend!"
The magic claws on her hand began to grow rapidly out of nowhere. The extended very far away from Caton, and grew towards Jin. Jin, managing to realize how long they could get, immediately began to flow even higher, until he was above the audience and heading towards the heights of one of the towers, the growing claws right behind him.
Suddenly, though, Jin stopped getting higher, and just hovered there, turning around and looking, facedown, at the claws.
"I've reached my limit!" Jin thought to himself as he just closed his eyes and waited to be hit.
There were quite a few gasps from the audience, each of them covering their hands over their mouths. Alan and Jack looked amazed that the claws could go that far, while Aqua and Leno stared in amazement, getting a better view. Rolan almost dropped Katon, and let out a small smile.
Jin opened his eyes, waiting for the nails to strike him, and the very first thing his eyes caught were the nails right in front of him. Literally less than an inch from his skin, they had just stopped there without harming him.
"Darn," Caton mumbled, "They can't go any further!"
"Lucky me!" Jin whispered to himself and floated away a safe distance from the nails.
"Wind Fist!"
Jin's fist was suddenly covered in fast moving winds, and then he shot the fist right at Caton. The wind escaped his fist, and flew quickly towards the cat girl. Cutting the nails along the way, Caton was barely able to see the wind before she got hit. Getting blown back, a few cuts appeared on her arms and legs. Caton landed outside the arena, and then looked around and realized what had happened.
"Winner: Jin!"
The audience let out several cheers, glad that the only victor from yesterday lost. Rolan, still smiling, let out a small "Heh."
"Enough!" one of the two remaining syndicate members yelled out suddenly.
"Caton," he resumed, "I'll deal with you later."
The robe that housed the speaking person suddenly flopped to the ground, empty. The audience suddenly let out a few gasps as the enemy appeared out of nowhere on the arena.
Standing there was an oddly themed Goth clown. Wearing mostly black with blood red handcuffs, neckband, nose, buttons, and hat, he let out a strangely hilarious and evil laugh at the same time.
"Who's going up against Clowny, the second most powerful Blue Rupee?!"
"We know you're clowny," Alan let out as a small joke, "But what's your name?"
"My name is Clowny!" the evil clown yelled angrily at Alan.
"Well, if I must..." Alan whispered as he prepared to walk towards the arena.
"Too late!" Jack said, already on the arena waiting for Pumpernickel to begin the match.
"Round Two: Match Two: Jack vs. Clowny! Begin!"
A large black and red-stripped ball about Clowny's size suddenly appeared underneath his feet, while a large scythe twice his size appeared in his left hand.
"I hope you've written a will!" Clowny yelled as pointed his free, open hand towards Jack.
"Flaming Hoops!"
Suddenly, bursting out of the ground, several hoops, like those lions jump through in circuses, appeared out of the ground. Catching on fire, they suddenly raced towards Jack.
Seeing this ahead of time, Jack jumped right through them all with ease.
"Distraction!" Clowny yelled as he blew an air-less balloon in his free hand into a gigantic balloon and started to twist it around.
"Balloon Lion!"
The balloon, twisted in the shaped of a lion, suddenly let out a small growl and pounced towards Jack. Jack jumped back close towards the end of the arena, and just waited there for the attack. When the lion was close enough, Jack simply poked it with the end of his tree cane, popping the balloon animal into many pieces that floated down to the ground.
"Another Distraction!" Clowny yelled as he threw five daggers at Jack with his free hand.
"One Thousand Death Daggers!"
A small explosion of smoke suddenly covered the daggers, and when the smoke cleared, what seemed like an endless number of daggers were flying towards Jack. No chance of escaping, the audience all let out large numbers of gasps, while Jack just let out a small chuckle.
Chapter Eleven: Jack vs. Clowny 2
"Mass Tree Growth!"
Popping out of the ground, many small saplings grew suddenly. The saplings grew into small trees, and then into big trees. The trees circled around their master, creating what could be called a dome around him. The trees shielded Jack, blocking the many daggers from harming him. The daggers stabbed themselves into the trees, some of them getting through the first tree but getting blocked by a second behind it. When all of the daggers had gotten stuck in the trees, the audience all gasped, and a few cheered.
"That was..." Leno began to speak in a very surprised tone, "The best example of one of our abilities this entire contest, even better than yours, Aqua!"
"Plant users are still alive?" Rolan asked to the two of them. "I thought they all died out during the war eleven years ago!"
"One still lived, I guess, and taught Jack." Aqua answered.
"Impossible!" Clowny immediately yelled, "Not one touched him! Well then, I'll show you!"
Clowny then began to shuffle a deck of 99 very, VERY thin playing cards, each with the initials E.C.S. on the back. When he stopped, he threw the top one in between the fighters, and the front of it read 'Green Rupee: Lou'.
The card suddenly released a large ray of light into the sky, and the light soon blinded everyone watching the card. When the luminous figure disappeared, a spiritual hand suddenly reached out of the card. The hand floated out of it, dragging the arm with it, and then a robed head. Soon the entire body was out: a black robed figure, like the rest of the syndicate members.
"These cards," Clowny began, "contain exact replicas of every member except me. I can bring out these living replicas at any time. And they contain the exact abilities as the user!"
"Then," Alan yelled, "There's a chance a Zodiac, or the leader, can get called out!"
"Giant Amoeba!"
Lou immediately pointed his hand out towards Jack, and a large shadow appeared in between the two. Landing on the large shadow was a one-eyed figure covered in blobby, blue slime.
"This amoeba," began the clown, "Is Lou's trademark."
"So what!" Jack yelled back.
"Tree Gnome!"
Popping out of the trees was a little small humanoid figure made of wood, with, where an arm would have been, a very large axe the size of Clowny's scythe. Jumping towards the amoeba, the axe swung towards it and cut the slimy figure in half. The axe got stuck onto one half, so the gnome landed on the half. The half began to absorb the gnome, sinking the gnome into its 'body'. The other half suddenly stretched towards the other half, and began to merge itself back together. The gnome, stuck in the slimy ball, suddenly began to melt away, screaming in a very high-pitched tone until it was gone.
"You stand no chance against the unbreakable!" Clowny immediately yelled back at the unsuccessful opponent.
"Well then," Jack answered back. "I guess you don't know your own weakness!"
The trees suddenly began to grow again, twisting their way towards the enemies. One of the trees stabbed the playing card, which, after just being hit, dissolved into a cloud of smoke, and Lou and the amoeba disappeared. The other trees aimed at the playing cards, each one cutting through the cards, which also dissolved.
"My cards!" the clown yelled as he looked at the dissolving smoke. "You've destroyed my cards! Well then, you're gonna die!"
He suddenly rolled his ball towards Jack, still in the mini forest. Holding his scythe in the air, Clowny swung the weapon through the forest, cutting threw all the trees and splitting them in half. Holding the large object sideways from him, he let out a small grin.
"Looks like you weren't a threat after all!" the clown yelled with glee.
"Guess again." A voice stated from his left.
Clowny looked to where the voice came from, and was surprised to see Jack, standing on the edge of the scythe, looking at him.
"I'm not the weakling you might think I am!" Jack yelled angrily to his opponent.
"Blast..." the clown began to mumble.
Chapter Twelve: Jack vs. Clowny 3
"Well then," Jack began to say to the clown, "I guess I should end this already."
Immediately after that, Clowny heard a loud popping noise under him, and suddenly several tree limbs were tying around him. Jack immediately jumped off the scythe, while a large tree grew behind the tied up clown. The tree's trunk opened up, revealing a large space that the average human could fit in. The tree limbs Clowny was been constricted by pushed him into the trunk, which, after he got in, closed again, leaving a screaming Clowny inside.
"Let me out! Let me out, you brat! How dare you do this to me!" He began to yell.
"I don't really care." Jack replied to the screaming clown, as the tree sunk itself into the ground, leaving a large patch of dirt in the arena. "I won't kill you, but I won't let you live, either. Goodbye."
"Under these circumstances," Pumpernickel began, "The winner is Jack!"
"Well then," Jack said as he walked off the arena. "That was easy."
"Now it's my turn." Alan said, rather enjoyably, and walked onto the arena.
"Be careful!" Jin immediately told him, knowing that whoever this guy is he'll have to be tough.
"Don't worry." He replied back.
"What powers does he have? I'm very interested in seeing this." Rolan began to say to the other two.
"I'm also interested." A voice said from beside the three, and when they turned to see who it was, they saw Alviss standing before them.
"You're better already?" Leno questioned, to Alviss's annoyance.
"I'm fighting now, then." The last robed figure said as he jumped onto the arena. "Too bad. I wanted to avoid this contest and just learn about the war outside for the first few rounds."
"What do you mean?" Alan asked him.
"You don't know?" he responded. "We've become dominant in Hyrule, but we still have some areas let to take."
The figure moved his sleeved and revealed a small bracelet made of small crystal balls with a string going through them all, and a ring on his middle finger that had an eye symbol on it. He picked one off and threw it next to Alan. The ball let out a small beam of light and, when the light was gone, had turned into a large Crystal Ball. The ball then began to levitate before Alan, and revealed many events happening before it stopped on one: a small village on a hill with a wooden windmill and no roads, but instead dirt paths.
"The village of Alcapa, southeast of what used to be Lon Lon Ranch, south-southwest of the entrance to the Kokiri Forest, and northeast of Lake Hylia, is independent currently, but everyone knows it won't last very longer."
The images changed again into a small desert city with white houses that looked like those from Ancient Egypt.
"The city of Alexander, which is in between the rift separating the Gerdudo Fortress and Hyrule Field, was made by removing large amounts of rocks in the areas. It is the center of the United Resistance, the rebel group against the Evil Crime Syndicate, and a very prosperous town."
Again, they changed, this time a large cave entrance full of boulders blocking off outsiders, the cave entrance surrounded by a large, wooden gate made of logs.
"The former fortress of the Thieves Operation, a powerful group of thieves that plundered villages and cities for the past 15 years, located in the Desert Colossus, has been destroyed, and their many riches and weapon taken. The Thieves Operation has been massacred entirely."
Finally, the images transformed into a city in the sky, floating on a cloud and full of beautiful buildings, being destroyed house by house.
"The City in the Sky, where a large amount of sorcerers live, is being attacked as we speak. Within two days, it will be destroyed."
The ball floated back to its master, who grabbed it and put it back on the bracelet.
The person removed his black cloak and revealed himself to Alan. He had long, blond hair that reached down just a little above his knees, and was wearing a dark blue scarf. He had a red shirt with a black colored skull figure in the center, and on his other hand was the exact same eye ring.
"Sebastian here, at your service." He greeted himself to Alan. "The most powerful blue rupee ranker!"
"Than this," Alan responded to his greeting, "Will be an interesting fight!"
"Round Two: Match Three: Alan vs. Sebastian! Begin!"
Chapter Thirteen: Alan vs. Sebastion 1
Also, I'm terribly sorry this took so long. I was sick. (temperature 102 Fahrenheit)
