(I'm sorry if this is in the wrong category... Dx Or if there's been a topic about this already...)
We all know the Kakariko "Sell me something" person.
I think that (s)he was once one of the cursed skulltula family. I mean, why would someone willingly give away fifty rupees for a bug? If they'd seen what happened to their family, then they would be willingly giving away large amounts of money, so the curse wouldn't affect them. After all, doesn't the lead skulltula-manthing give you 200 rupees whenever you want? The "Sell me something" person (who I will now refer to as Sam) gives away their money to anyone who gives them anything. But they won't take poes-- They cause curses and are generally evil. They don't want to be cursed.
... or they could be just a person.
I think he's just an eccentric philanthropist.
Mabye he is just a bug collector with some money.
Mabey the bug aren't exactly worthless. Like mabey he can use them to make something that he can sell for a lot of money, so he can afford to pay alot for them.
Or else he's just not....all there.
Unless he's several centuries old I can't see how he can be a member of the Skulltula family...
Was it stated the Skulltula family was several centuries old?
Edit: I mean when they got cursed.
It's a legend...
It might be a legend, but it could've happened before. Or... they could not want to be cursed and not be related. x;
Interesting theory. But I just think he's just some random rich person that likes bugs(50 rupees), fish(100 rupees), and blue fire(150 rupees). Wait, he can probably make something delicious(Well, if you like to eat bugs) with those! I'd like some fried fish! ;D
Maybe he just likes bugs?... ;)
Although it is possible that he knows of the skultilla curse on the family and wishes to help them by using the bugs to find skultilla and killing them. He doesn't have to be related to them to want to help them.
