personally, i like gannondorf over any other villan. he just seems more threatening. he just seems serious about his job. i dont like the wind waker one.
I'm biased and always liked the OoT Ganondorf. I need to play WW before I give my final verdict, though.
I prefer the real Ganon; PIG Ganon.
Evilslayer has a point but he looked sweet in Oot and in WW he was 2 fat looking
YEA! THE BATTLE IN OoT WAS AWSOME!! I PLAY IT JUST TO FIGHT HIM ALL THE TIME! also at the end of FSA the fight is awsome as well! we had a TON of force fairies though so he was easy. ;)
I loved both fights, but lately I've been playing the WW one alot. I like that Ganon uses dual swords, hes like a samurai or somthing.
I prefer the TWW Ganondorf, because (a) he's not a one-dimensional character, I actually pitied the guy, and (b) he's a more entertaining boss.

In TWW he does at least have a personality and a reason for his actions. And the fact that he makes you feel sorry for him makes him even more dangerous.

That's because he don't see the need. Besides, he was going to CONQUER Hyrule. Don't you think he hates Link and Zelda's descendants so much that he'd rather see them suffer as slaves than dead.
If he were to kill him, he would free Link from any sort of suffering afterwards. He may even have planned to torture and kill Link's sister before his eyes.

Ganondorf is plain and simple the best thing in zelda.I love fighting him in WW but i hate puppet ganon so that reali anoys me.It was kool to see in WW that Zelda wasn't useless for once but was doing most of the fighting.
I thought the wind waker Ganondorf was brilliant and had a definate character, in a very japanese way the lord of evil is not just a blank killing machine but a character with values and feelings. Not that this makes him any weaker. If anything he is more dangerous as the sort of man that could make you feel sorry for him before using you to gain what he wants. The only thing I disliked in the final boss fight was that it felt like one large movie that I had limited control over... Just a weird feeling but it had a lasting effect.

The fact that Ganon has emotion is more treatening in some ways. I mean he can use emotion to manipulate people rather than just kill them straight away. Plus he hates Link so much he may wish to torture him slowly. He is exactly like my Shadow Ganon character, who I explain in detail on the characters page.

Anyway, i like the original Ganon, although I LOVE the OoT Ganondorf, he is MEAN! Almost as mean as Darth Vader when he was evil...
if you read Arxanes fiction of OoT on Fanfiction.net, Ganondorf is definately the meanest, most evil scum I have ever read about... or seen, or heard....

Pehaps that makes him more of a threat... He seems like a less dangerous character and could lure you into a state of false security, before chopping your head off!

Well, I don't want to spoil the surprise for u, but, if u want me to tell u, then I will. But if u don't want it spoiled, then don't read on.
Ganondorf is standing by Zelda. He says some stuff. Then, he does that cool jump and Link puts up his shield, then Ganondorf punches u in the face, and knocks your sword out of your hand. Then he grabs u by the wrist and he holds up his hand. Then all 3 pieces of Triforce come from Ganondorf, Link, and Zeldas hand. Then Ganondorf makes a wish, then The King of Red Lions comes and puts his hand on the Triforce and makes his wish and Ganondorfs wish doesn't come true. Then Ganondorf says some thing like Then let me show u your future or something like that after Zelda wakes up and give Link his sword back. Then u battle Ganndorf. And he jumps and stuff. And thats all u need to know. When u get there u'll find everything out! Do u get me?

The only reason I put TWW Ganondorf is because he's easy, and you deserve easy because of how hard Puppet Ganon!

I almost bit the bag and stepped out the door the first time I faced Puppet Ganon. I was one of the lucky ones... :-\
I did as I've done in all the previous Zelda games, I drew my sword, and swore death upon my enemy. After a nice, hard fight I was ready to relax while kicking the @zz out of the REAL boss... Which really wasn't that hard...
Pesonnaly, I think that Puppet Ganon, form 1 and 2, are easy, but the worm thing it turns into is hard. If you already learned the super spin attack, than it's impossible to make it stop long enough to effectively hit the stupid ball with an arrow.

Still, I learned that the average spin attack or a bomb in the worms face stuns it for three seconds. That is barely enough time to effectively stun it, unlike the simple one second you get from light arrows or average sword attack in the face.
I, unfortunately, didn't try to stun it. I had to kill it the hard way: firing Light Arrows at it while it was in motion.
I know a way not to get hurt: Use your hookshot on the torches very high on the walls and you'll end up on a ledge. That worm can't hurt you there.

I think Gannondorf is pretty tame. Yeah he started some wars but you don't see him murder anyone or tortue anyone.
