I knew a russian girl... sorta... she was from Ukraine, she came here two years ago as a Foriegn exchange student, which was around the time as the Orange Revolution in Ukraine...
Although it is a seperate country, I often associate Ukraine with Russia because of how they were almost always historically linked, and their cultures are very similar.
