Not only are there two of this topic, but wasn't Motoko doing these?

You apparently didn't see that other poll for declaring someone a mod...

And that other cold dead battlefield has been long gone, no one's gonna change that one...

Now let's commence with THIS one.

I clicked the red one, what happens now?

The general thing about this game is we have to make points on how they would battle and who would eventually win by assertin gtherir strengths and weaknesses, until after 4 or 5 pages we get done arguing...

I chose red.  :)
I probably shouldn't get into the arguing part though. I don't know who Crono is.  ;)

Mace Windu would cut all his foes into cubes of chese. They stand no chance!

This is probably a good example for those who don't know the power of CRONO! (http://youtube.com/watch?v=YNQ6ufYGa1Q)

OMG MAGUS! BEST_FIGHT_EVER! (http://youtube.com/watch?v=mV-cMtyopSA)

Edit: Pardon the outburst, Mr. Nice-Picwick-Wonderful-Man. ;)

But seriously, I'm going with Blue. Mainly because of Mace's antics in the Clone Wars cartoons. Anybody who's seen those should be able to testify to Mace's bad-a**itude.

Kakashi can both copy all abilities that are not genetic traits AND warp things to other dimensions, so yeah he's won.

Yeah, we don't favor Mary-sue's here. A Mary sue is nothing more but a cheap plot device to emphasise one thing outperforming with almost no effort, another thing.

In other words, no omnipotent powers like 'warping to other dimensions', of course, he CAN still copy, I mean that's what Ninja's are supposed to do, am I right?

I'm going with Kakashi and Marth...Marth could definitely give Crono a run for his money in swordsmanship, he might not win but he would last a good long while. Kakashi's Chidori could probably cut through the lightsaber. Mace is my favorite Jedi, but he doesn't stand a chance against Kakashi...Then he could take out Crono as well...if Marth didn't get him first.

also, it's Kakashi Hatake.

Kakashi's Chidori could probably cut through the lightsaber.

And why do you think this?

Cut through the Light Saber? Um, no, bullets can't even cut through a light saber.

Well for one thing, he cut through lightening with the Chidori, I'm sure the Raikiri, the upgraded version, could do more.

He cut...through lightning? I'd like more details surrounding this event, because what I've got pictured in my head looks incredibly retarded.

yes, he cut through lightening. that is why it is also called lightening edge.

All naruto characters are completely overpowered, if an A rank can 'cut through lightening'...

Oh wait... :D who says that the force can't cut through your chidori? The Force is a powerful thing, after all, even capable of generating lightening. Oh wait a minute...

Just because the Chidori can cut through lightening doesn't mean that a lightsaber will be obliterated. The power of a lightsaber is made from the force, a thing your ninja cannot hope to touch!

The power of a lightsaber is made from the force now? When did this happen?
Title: Re:The cold dead battlefield (early march)
Post by: darkphantomime on February 27, 2007, 02:12:22 PM
Well, not MADE from it, per se, but the force strengthens the lightsaber and prevents it from being destroyed by overused, overrpowered plot devices, such as Kakashi's Chidori.

Post by: DW on February 27, 2007, 04:40:59 PM
Now where does it say that? and I'm pretty sure it doesn't cut lightening, because they just catch it on the saber and it runs through the lightsaber, they still feel a jolt, just not as bad...
Title: Re:The cold dead battlefield (early march)
Post by: Commodore Axilon on February 27, 2007, 04:53:05 PM
First of all, Force Lightning is not real lightning. It's concentrated force energy.

Second, I'm pretty sure a lightsaber blade cannot be broken, not even by another lightsaber.

Third, in AotC Obi-Wan catches Dooku's lightning on his lightsaber, and there are no side effects. It just hits the blade and crackles a bit. And when Mace got hit with it, the only reason he looked exerted is because he was getting a full blast from Sidious (momentum has to be conserved, people), and the fact that he was channeling the energy back at him.

Aren't we forgetting something here? Oh yeah, What about the duel between Marth and Crono?

Sorry, but I know absolutely nothing about them.

I think they would probably be going toe-to-toe for a long while, so whoever wins the Mace-Kakashi fight would go help at his partner.

Poewers of Crono
- Ability to tag team with partner and use attacks combined from partner's abilities.
- Swordsmanship
- Lightning elemental
- Power of the chrono trigger - an egg that can be used to travel through time.

Now let's imagine the batttle continuing, shall we?
