Remember when Al Gore made a documentary/movie about the harmful effects of global warming?
Well, it turns out that it has recently come to light that Al Gore and his marvelous home use the same amount of electricity in a month than the average home does in a year. And he DOES NOT use renewable power, my friends. He uses regular power.
So, what do you all think? Al Gore goes parading around using more power than any of us, then tries to prevent global warming. HYPOCRITE, my friends.
You may now express your feelings and thoughts, but NO FLAMING, or i will request this topic be deleted.
Conservative smear campaign. (http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/02/28/olbermann-on-gores-energy-use-setting-the-record-straight/)
Gore's mansion has 20 rooms, private offices, extensive secrity measures and a guest house. I would imagine he also has a large staff (it's not just Al & Tipper Gore living and working there). Of course his house is gonna use more power.
But of course, thats why he brought Carbon cutting machines today, it brok on ABC news that he did. And do you know why? Cause he knows that it would discredit him if he didn't do such a things and he was exposed.
His house is big. So what, doesnt mean he suse more power in a month than we do in a year. Do you realize how much power that is?
Heres a link, and since all you Libs and Dems will scream "Fox News! LIES!" I will work on finding another link from other places.

Do you realize how much bigger his house is than the average American home? And did you even look at the link I provided?
And P.S.: Faux News is a load of BS.
Which is why the Links I provided were not from Fox, so you can't pull the "FOX NEWS LIES" garbage. Click on the Links, see the truth. I clicked on yours.
If you clicked my link yet still believe this tripe, then you either have some vendetta against Gore, are a diehard unchanging conservative, or don't trust Olbermann for whatever reason. So which one is it?
Off topic, but if you say a news stations lies, then there is obviously something wrong. News media shouldn't be lying. Now I shall quietly retreat because political mumbo jumbo is not my thing.
Why are we even bringing this up? Is this meant to simply provoke us and cast us into continuous ignorance and not listen to what Gore says? Is it such that we shall not apply these lessons and as soon as someone provokes something over nothing, must we then dismiss everything, and put all their efforts into vanity and seal our own foolish fates?
I'm going to stay out of this one because:
1) I'm tired
2) I don't have enough information to form a logical argument that wouldn't just be based on my dislike of Gore.
So just keep it clean.

Ha! It's like you're inside my head, JQP!
I'd rather not get into this.....
All right guys, I'm relly sorry then. I didnt mean to get anyone angry at me or at anyone else by starting this.
So I'm sorry I started this, cause i didnt want any arguments to arrise. Forgive me?

I'm hoping this is just an observation on the state of American news, and not some kind of argument.
And
MasterKey, I don't see why you're getting all sorry that you might start arguments, when it's pretty obvious from the issue and the tone of your post that arguments were gonna start anyway. What's wrong with political discussion? Are you so needy for camaraderie that you'd rather hide your opinions in the hope they won't offend someone? I, for one, would respect you more for giving your opinion than the alternative.
And to echo
Pickwick, this whole issue smacks of a vile
ad hominem attack. What other reason for this would there be than to give some justification for disagreeing with his views? He's continually said he's not running for president, so what other motivation could their possibly be? To cast doubt upon Global Warming by attacking its most vocal believer, that's what.
I have just made a global warming topic that explains why it is no threat at all.
Your topic brings no reason, instead minimalizing everything that's going on.
this topic has been causing a lot of trouble lately, so much fighting... :'(
I meant Akatsuki's topic by the way...
I know, I'm saying the general global warming talk has been causing a lot of fighting, not this topic specifically

Why, um, thank you! ;D
I would just like to make clear that I was not, in any way, saying that Global Warming was a lie, but just pointing our Gore's hypocrisy. And with that, I'm off to the global warming topic.
