Help me out here, people.
there is no gold...it would be too confusable with yellow. and orange is 500 rupees isn't it? I think some of the values vary in the games...
In OoT, the silver ruppee was worth 100 Ruppees. The Orange/Gold Ruppee (HUGE!) was worth 200.
yeah, they are inconsistent...I think normally orange is 100 and silver is 200 though so let's go with that...umm the next reasonable sounding amount is 500, so lets say gold would be 500...
Oops, I forgot to say this is only for the system in current games. Gold is 500, you get one from the spider family's farther and it fills the wallet up, I think.
what...is the point of this...?
To describe the system of Hyrulian Currency.
....why? I'm pretty sure everyone here knows the value of rupees...it's a Zelda staple...
Well, we can also think about rupee related stuff, like how several treasure chests in TWW have only one rupee in them, disappointingly. And how it's so easy getting rupees that prices aren't really anything at all. You could buy alot of things without trying.
no the case with LA...getting the bow takes forever...
I just by bombs, which are less expensive, and steal the bow.
Then you are thus branded THEIF! For the remainder of Links Awakening.
And I think I remember, from the Oracles, there was an Orange Ruppee worth 500... I think...
You know, there's this thing called the intarweb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupee_%28The_Legend_of_Zelda%29#The_Rupee) that allows you to look things up from the comfort of your own home!
You spelled it wrong, it's interweb.
Also, I seriously updated it.
Well, SOME rupees turn into Rupee-likes and suck you of your rupees. (http://zs.ffshrine.org/album/minish-cap/sprites/RupeeLike(Green).gif)(http://zs.ffshrine.org/album/minish-cap/sprites/RupeeLike(Red).gif)(http://zs.ffshrine.org/album/minish-cap/sprites/RupeeLike(Blue).gif)
The trick to it is to see if they shine or not. If they are sitting in plain sight, and dont shimmer, just LEAVE THEM. I think these were first in FS/FSA and then were spotted in Minish Cap.
If so, then FS. FSA had no rupees. I think a force gem thing existed, though.
Can someone tell me the LA and Oracles currency? (including Ore Chunks)
I'm pretty sure the blue rupee was worth one. I think that was the only color they had, though. If you found rupees in a chest, it was more than one. I don't exactly remember. And I don't remember the system in the Oracle games.
