Title: LadyNintendo Mystery
Post by: Mysterious F. on March 08, 2007, 03:04:00 PM
This is a new topic do to the original's flame and spam. No talking about bgurgrby's going away thing. Sorry I spelled it wrong.

Well, this is getting too long to be a joke, I doubt she got sick of us, so why's she gone?

It can be alot lot of reasons, Akatsuki. I'm sure she's not the first long-time member to suddenly stop posting. I know if her computer is broken or something, it would be kind of strange that it's been broken for, what is it now? A month? Three/four weeks? But you should consider the other possibilities: her parents are forbidding her to go on, she's moved onto posting at a different forum (maybe not posting at forums at all), she's lost interest in the Legend of Zelda...etc. It could be anything, but if it's really bothering you, try emailing her yourself. I'm aware that she hasn't been answering any of JQ Pickwick's emails, but there may be a specific reason why she might not want to talk (why is none of my business) but it's worth a try.

I think she's a bit too old for that.

I aonly made this because the original topic got spammy and flammy, but that shouldn't stop someone from worrying.

She's sixteen, that's only three years older than me and my mom doesn't feel to comfortable about the internet. You never know, her parents might be very strict.

Yeah, my parents think everyone on the Internet is a pornartist or rapist. :P

Actually, LadyN's 19. Which is quite old... She even told me herself that she's rather independant of her parents...

Well, that theory is out.

Terrible accident or death? Let's hope not. That would be terrible.

Terrible computer service? Must be really bad, then.

Maybe she has joined a cult that doesn't allow Internet...

...or fun. :p

What? She's nineteen? I could have sworn on her profile that it said she was sixteen!  :-X Anyway Evilslayer, it could be something else. Maybe she doesn't want to go on anymore. My friend used to be a member of this Starfox forum, and she was a long-time member, but she just stopped going on, so she just cancelled her account. But if it is something bad, like she's hurt or something, let's just hope it's nothing like that.

You know, you CAN lie about your age on the Internet. ;)

I highly doubt she was lying, she seems to be very mature and has quite an appreciation for old and especially hard - games.

I also believe that she told me she was in her last year of High school... I think...

Yeah, Lady Nintendo doesn't seem like the kind of person to lie about her age.

I never said she was lying. I'm just saying that there's always that possibility.

I know. And I agree with Fruit Basket Freak, if she's nineteen, she might be in college and that might cause her to be very busy.

She lives in the Netherlands, and they speak Dutch there. I doubt too many people here are from the Netherlands, and if so, they might not know English too well. And if there is anyone LadyNintendo knows personally and they have an account, hopefully they'll see this and tell us what's really going on...and maybe she doesn't want to share it with her friends either.

(Sorry, but it really annoys me when people use leet speak like "2 cool 4 u" or something)

I agree. Takun, we'd all appreciate if you spell out the words you say on here; it makes it easier for us to read, and it's more appealing to look at.

Awkward. Somehow, this thread manages to be scarier than this: http://www.i-pets.com/blog/uploaded_images/ugliest_dog-789193.jpg , but also funnier than this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svmdcCIHLjM

;) If I had known my absence would've caused this.....

I think I can be more active again from now on. Yes, I'm 19, yes, I'm in college: International and European Law. I'm missing beta..... Yes, I've been very busy lately with school and helping my parents renovating one of our houses (don't ask why we have more than one). Painting is fun, until you have painted 6 freakin' rooms.

Anyway, I've just been really busy, and haven't had time to post (and on a side note, I've been using my college e-mail only for the past couple of weeks, which means college stuff only. I didn't expect any other important mails on my hotmail account). That's all. I'm not abducted by aliens, murdered by a serial killer, pushed from a building, bitten by a poisonous spider/snake, hit by a truck etc. Only "bad" thing that happened was getting my wisdom teeth pulled. That wasn't pleasant, but nothing went wrong, so I can't complain. Well, I'm off painting more rooms. I'll post again later today.

And before I end my post: I just want to say thank you for being worried. It's quite touching.  :)

I thought you were abducted by serial killing alien spiders/snakes that were poisonous and liked to hit people off buildings with trucks.

That dog was scary?  I found it funny.  And ugly.  Worse than ugly.  Fugly, I dare say.

Anywho, good to see you're back. Have fun painting rooms. :D

Yeah, I laughed, I cried, I died, I lived, I sang, I protested, I ate, I photosynthesized, I digested, I puked, I fought, I melted, I cut, I destroyed, I demolished, I disappeared, I abducted, I manipulated, I hypnotized, I slept, I configured, I transformed, I defended, I offended, I smelled, I looked, I tasted, I felt, I see dead people, I saw, I supercalifragilisticexpialidocioused, I watched, I figured, I complained, and I glowed.

But yes, mostly I laughed.

Gamefreak was also gone for a week and we didn't notice. I was gone for two months once. THAT is noticable, particullarily because I was a mod. She, too, was also gone very long.

Oops, I don't know exact estimate, but for a long time I was absent.

Major absent periods:
July 24th - August 9th
August 24th - September 16th.

About a month and a week.

Okay, I didn't keep my promise of posting today-that-day. Heh, I was still too busy. And I wanted to post yesterday, but then I found some users on youtube who had put up the dutch intros (the only ones for that matter) of some shows I absolutely LOVE and used to watch when I was very young. Bobobobs, Starstreet, Sinbad, Wikie, Alfred J. Kwak, Teddy Ruxpin, Doctor Snuggles.....I got a little lost in memory lane.  ;) Anyway, I'm going to post now.

Welcome back, I guess.

My passion is for reactivating old topics, I don't tend to notice when people are gone. And because I tend to be gone for weeklong periods myself. Of course, I'm annoying, so... yeah. x:
