Which do you think the series should go, I personally want another TP like game, if not, I want LttP, though I'm fine with any of them.

AoL is LttP style. LA is LttP style. CD-i games suck.

Cartoony. TP was way too dark colored, and they make you do so many things you can't enjoy the scenery enough. TWW, however, has alot of sailing, where you can think of how wonderful the environment is and how great a game this is. I also loved the locations, the people, and the cartoons.

I want more imagination... more fluidity. Maybe they should make something that creatively combines the two extremes. The Cartooniness and fluidity of WW and the serious and dark tone of TP.

Something in the vein of MM

MM was just a little too goofy for me. And it is really the same style as OoT, look at the character art.

Yes, yes I know... But if we were to blend the styles of TP and WW, we'd probably get something that's closer to MM than OoT, at least in how this stuff is displayed. MM was fun AND serious, a rare combination in games.

I'm talking about having interactive and interesting NPC's plus lightheartedness and fluidity plus some serious added for good measure...

However, I'm not sure how a balance like that would affect visuals so that it's not too much like OoT...

Maybe I should scrap the over-realistic part and the overly goofy part and think about having fluidity plus depth of characters plus a very interesting level of atmosphere...

Well, this topic is actually quite hard for me to write in.

You see, I always say this to all the PS3 and XBox 360 fans that gloiat over how great the graphics are. The graphical style of the game does not matter, and this goes double for Zelda. I like Zelda no matter what style it has.

But, I do prefer the realism of TP, it was very nice.

>_> Not neccasarily the graphics, but what the graphics are trying to do. Because WW, FSA, and MC don't have the same graphics, but I'm talking about style, you could even just go with the officail art.

I hate when people judge a game by graphics too, but the style is still a factor. Like a photo-realistic pink-bunny world with singing flowers would have a horrible style, but good graphics.

This is a very good point, my friend. Style is also a very important factor in a game. I would like it if everyone read this post, Bboy made a good point.

In 3D games the style has little to do with graphics. It's the ART the plays the biggest part in how the game looks. I would like to see something between TWW and TP in Wiilda. Cartoony, but with a more realistic character art.

TP may look cool, but its flaw is that it completely lacks any magic atmosphere, unlike TWW. I would not be able to live myself that much into the game if it hadn't been for the good-quality Zelda music.

But I'm voting the last option, just because I can. :-*

I agree I like the way MM was designed.

Not true. Have you ever seen anyone with that perfect of hair? Look at the guides and officail art, they aren't the same.

QuoteMM was just a little too goofy for me. And it is really the same style as OoT, look at the character art.

In-game, yes. It mostly recycled OOT's models. But the official artwork from those two games differs a lot. Now, that may not have anything to do with the actual game graphics, but I think MM and OOT still fall in category of games with "inferior" graphics that "need" the artwork to fill in some details (not that games don't need it nowadays, just less).

QuoteOOT and TP use the same style. They just look diffrent becuase TP has better grafics

The first time I saw TP artwork and screenshots, my anger of the announced "realistic" style disappeared. TP actually mixes the OOT and TWW styles. OOT used a more standard manga style. TWW used a very special chibi-style (one that doesn't scream Japan or America/Europe). TP used the more care free/expressive style of TWW as elements to spice up the OOT style.

I do not have any preferences. Nintendo proved with TWW that the Legend can be drawn in multiple ways, without betraying the overall feel. I love every style and most likely will love the ones to come.

Ah... I don't know... I would love a game with Ocarina/Majora's Mask graphics, but just a little more fluid.

I really do love the OOT/MM style and the TP style, but... TP's game graphics really did leave a lot to be desired, in my opinion. Nothing really ran as smoothly as it did in the Wind Waker, and that really dissapointed me, especially since they run on the same engine.

Oh well, I've added my two cents. xD

Did you play TP on Gamecube? If so that would explainwhy you don't think it has ggod grafix. The Wii version is way better than WW.

I have the Wii version. :3 I think you misread me, though; the graphics are gorgeous, it's just that it's a little stiff for me. TWW graphics weren't... great(especially compared to TP), but they flowed really well. o:

I think they should make a game kind of like what they did with kingdom hearts, but does nintendo have that power to do so? Cause the play station graphics are better then the nintendo stuff... I think it would be cool though if they did like another Oot game...
