Not sure if this should be in General Discussion.
So, I'm off for spring break... And I'm thinking of joining this, can someone give me the gist of this, so I can make up my mind?
it is like D&D in the way that it is a dice-rolling roleplay kind of thing. I have been trying to get started but I've been busy, so we can start a newbie troupe if you want lol
You should join, it is alot of fun and there are lots of people to help you along if you are new to RPing or if you are struggling with the mechanics.
Heck, you use good spelling and grammar, so you're probably a shoe-in for the game ;D
Sign up, and PM me for details on getting started. I'll help you understand it, and make sure you get involved in the right way.

As for the whole dice part... we don't use that as often as the casual observer might think. It's Storytelling above Boardgaming.

Did you click "Forget Password" button on the sign in screen? Because I checked and you are registered already as there was a Bboy94 on the list and all you need is that and your e-mail address and it should e-mail you your password.
I once joined, but I never did anything. I couldn't understand the forum system.

Apparently oher measures are necesary though...such as the fact there WERE NO GUNS in Hyrule times...
I have yet to find the person using a gun. Then again, I'm not exactly looking. ::)

it's just south of the desert at an intersection, I think it's one screen north and one screen west from the cow skeleton screen, and one screen below the Tantari Cafe. It's called Camp, one of the guys is showing another how to use a gun. it might have been acceptable if it was an old-style gun with blackpowder and such, but it was like a Glock, with a clip and hammer and everything.

Yes, it was their group, I think the guy who introduced them was using a ripoff of Vincent Valentine from FF7. It seems like noone is creative on there....

my storyline. ;D FoG is currently part 2 of my full story, actually, with at least two more parts being planned out. See my profile for summaries of what's happened thus far.

That's part of what the story is, Shikamaru. It is indeed heavily focused on items of my character's past, revealing things as time goes on. But at the most basic level, my story is just called that because I'm GMing: I control what happens, I write out all the details and tell participants what they're up against . . . yeah, it's basically me writing a story, in a manner that other RPers can play a role in.

At this point in time . . . no, not really. Once FoG part 8 ends, though, it oughta be really, really easy to get your guy in there if you want. Part 9 . . . yeah, that one'll be easy to enter. :)
Okay then. and you may want to head back to the Tantari cafe, apparently a mob had encircled it and it's under attack again, so your guy is probably cut off by them and needs to take care of the outside while we fight inside. Also, please back me up on this gun problem we are having....

Umm I am trying to decide on whether or not to do something...in any case I need ZV to reply at the cafe ASAP before Orpheous gets it attacked again....
An example of the the kind of problems spammers can cause, they have plaqued HA2 and there was an attempt to get rid of them but others backed down and now the spammers are spamming like crazy like they were before and ruining the game.
Hmm such as the GUNS that orpheus is using, saying 'oh they aren't that futuristic they are just pistols not big guns'. Well obviously he doesn't know much about guns, pistols are pretty futuristic compared to, say, muskets...
