What Link we are talking about?

I don't have any particular girl in mind. Just for the sake of a prettier, more original story, I just think Zelda any Link rarely have any feelings for eachothers besides friendship or fate.

I think it depends on the game. Like Twilight, it should be Ilia. In TWW, Tetra, unless something hapens in PH. In FSA, Malon. If Marin survived, and didn't turn into a seagull, then her for LA. Otherwise Zelda every time.

I slightly dislike the idea of Link getting together with Ilia. Not that I have anything against her. I love Ilia! But if Link was to marry Ilia it would be as if nothing had happened. All would go back to the way it was before. I don't like those endings. But I can see Ilia and an older Colin. I like to think that perhaps Colin goes on an adventure with his father or Link and when he returns he's about the same age as Link is in TP, and Ilia is a woman. She may be several years older, but that wasn't an obstacle in the old days.

I'm thinking Zelda for all of the Links. In LoZ and AoL it's obvious. In ALttP and LA she don't really have any rivals (except Flute-boy :-*). In OoT it's by far the best pairing, in my opinion. Assuming Link returns to Hyrule after the Oracles, again there's no real rival. In TWW it's obvious that Nintendo intends for Link and Zelda to be together. The same for FS, FSA and TMC. There's not much Link/Zelda in TP, but there's something about the look they give each others towards the end.

Either Zelda or Malon in Oot, Ilia in TP, Zelda in FSA, and Tetra in TWW. But that's just what I think. My Dad thinks he's gay, but don't listen to him.

TP is more of a LInk/Midna thing, or would have been if she didn't break the mirror. If Link could find a way back I think he would go with Midna.
Midna has gotton closer to Link than any other girl in the LOZ series (beside Navi or Talt, who don't count). Midna definantly has feelings for Link (I don't know if Link returns them though but I think so).
WW was definantly Tetra. I mean they go off on a ship together in the end.

Why do people always pick zelda .I think that malon would be the best couple because they both love horses and malon used to look after epona but no link does .And i don't really think that link and zelda fit well maby for a bit ,but one day they will see that they don't fit and it's better being friends .

Because they probably choose who they want to be with.

I don't think Linbk and Malon fit together. At all. Link fits better as a king than a farmer. As a farmer he would be stuck on Lon Lon Ranch, but as a king he could travel to far-away lands and make treaties. He would have duties, yes, but he wouldn't be a "prisoner".

Then there's the argument that Link is an adventurer. For one, we don't know that he likes adventuring. Even if he do, which I admit is likely, it's not as if Zelda's father is going to die any time soon. He'll probably be in his thirties, or older, when that time comes. And then he's matured quite a bit and probably doesn't care much for adventures any more.

There's a lot of topics about this, and... well, I don't know. If the Link was specified, then... maybe I'd have a better idea. XD

I don't honestly think every Link is gay or anything, but I tend to like the gay couples of him better. I think that he and Zelda make a terrible couple; Link doesn't fit as a king in my mind. Malon/Link seems more... one-sided to me. Puppy love, I guess? Yeah, I don't think they make a good couple, either.

Saria/Link is a little... pedo, but I like the pairing. (it's nice and fluff-filled. :D) Adult Link/Saria is... I dunno, not as glamorous. (not to mention improbable, what with her being in the Sacred Realm and whatnot.)

Ruto is a crazy, stalker fish person. owo I don't think it'd work out, especially since Link's just like "...uh..." as a kid when she proposes. It's still funny and sweet, though. XD

Medli shouldn't be with Link because she should be with Komali. XD But out of the choices (other than "Other") she's probably the most fit in my mind.

I like the Tetra/Link couple, personally. It's nice and... well, I have a feeling Tetra's feisty nature helps to seal the couple together. (I like a few other couples at the moment, but... uh, they're kind of disturbing. XD)

10-17 year-olds usually don't fit as a king. :-* However, he do get OLDER. And if he was to get together with Zelda he would probably be 40+ years before he would become king.

I don't think Link will marry Zelda, mainly just because she is some random princess Link has to save, and he really does'nt really know her all that well.

They can't get married because

1.They hardly no each other
2.He is mostley always saving her
3.Malon would be better
4.Zelda is mostley in trouble and with link around he would get in trouble aswell and then who would save them from ganondorf and vaati lol ?
5.If they both get in trouble as in someone makes them into stone or something else who would save them becuase the Hero and Princess are both in trouble .
So link and zelda i don't think they would be the perfect match .I think link and malon becuase they both had knowen epona for some time and in OoT link got epona from malon and she had a ranch and i dunno i think they would be a good couple

The thing is, each Link only had to save Zelda once, then Ganon was gone for the remainder of that generation.

I've gotta say i liked Link and Malon, closely followed by Link and Medli, species difference notwithstanding. After these pairings, and only after, would i suggest Link and Zelda. Link just seems way way too down-to-earth to be constrained with a courtly, formal princess. Zelda never really showed any feelings for Link(to my mind at least). Her persuasion for Link to help in OOT was civic duty and the deku tree's final requests, not coquettishly requesting his aid, or displaying any kind of affection for him at all. Malon did display her affection, even if Link was too bloody dense to catch it(could not give this fellow a hint without having some old guy/fishman tell it cryptically. No friggin joke!). And i just liked Medli :D

I think Midna, but anyone who even remotely knows me that I'm a diehard Midna fanboy.  I mean, she's the only one that's ever had anything even close to a romantic connection with Link.

Ilia doesn't count... they're more lifelong friends than a couple.

I would say that there is no romance between Link and Marin, either.

I think Marin's a possibility, but i've also heard that Marin was a diff version/alternate personality of either Malon or Zelda. plus, she was a dream, and you shouldnt get too attached to dreams.

Then, explain the ending?  I mean, the Wind Fish was all like, 'BYAAH' at the very end.
