Link loves Ilia man. I think Zelda is loveless, after Link leaves, not to mention she is always so sad.

Ralis/Zelda would be infinitely sweet; after all, Zora/Hylian relationships aren't frowned upon. So I voted for it.

But I think Zelda would end up with some random noble realistically.

I voted Shad, but I didn't mean it. But it's not a bad couple, no. Shad would enjoy the "lol-I'm-near-the-oocoa-race" and things, but... yeah.

I don't know, I don't really care for Zelda in a lot of the games.

Oh my God, Shad! That could be really sweet or really funny. Zelda greets some top intellectuals, perfectly calm, while husband!Shad is geeking out right next to her and trying not to be completely obvious. Is Shad Hylian? I forget.

I don't really see the Link/Zelda, especially in Twilight Princess. Sure, he does save her (at the very end), but she sees him as more of an ally, and she rarely interacts with him. She continues to be that mystical princess to him, and they'd have to break down that image to start anything. Twilight Princess Link goes with either Midna or Hena to me, really.

Although Oracles Link/Zelda is smooshy, cute, and hinted at.

Some random Hylian guy we never saw in the game.

Link just doesn't seem the type to setle down as royalty, not adventurous enough. Never in all the games have we seen a king that looks like Link...

And Twilight Princess Link, no matter how cool he looks in the Hero's Clothes, is still a scruffy-looking nerfherder a farmhand. Such a massive class difference may be looked down upon in Hyrule; remember the shop in Castle Town before Malo buys it?

Hmm... I think Zelda should be like Queen Elizabeth and never marry. That way, she can rule the way she sees fit without the aid of a king.

Oh, yes, of course they wouldn't accept the hero as king.

o yes of course they wouldn't accept THE HERO as king :P

Sure, this Link is a Hero, but after all is said and done? Boy's going back home to herd goats, and probably become the Mayor of Ordon, which is a tiny agricultural village. Midna even says it; Zelda is raised in luxury. Not only do Zelda and Link have to get over huge barriers to begin anything, Hyrule may accept him as Hero, but not as a suitable Prince Consort- which would be his title if he married Zelda.

Or perhaps they may accept him as, you know, the second coming of the Legendary Hero? Besides, he leaves Ordon at the end. I don't think it's realistic that after all that Link can just settle back down in Ordon and pretend as if nothing had happened. The only type of ending that is worse than those kind of endings are endings where the bad guys win.

And I completely forgot the ending, whoops. He's certainly not going to go home and play rancher, but that's his skill set, along with his Heroic skills. He'll probably end up a nomad hero.

I'm not saying Hyrule won't accept him as a legendary Hero. But Prince Consort? That's a different story. Zelda's probably got a whole league of nobles lined up for her to choose from.

Depends. In movies, it's sometimes very nice to see the baddie win. And in games, what if you play the bad guy?

I don't think Zelda would marry anyone in the game. Definantly not Link. I mean they met only about 4 times. And 3 of those times was as a wolf.

Somebody else. I think she could marry, just some nobility or other with a good character and capable of being a successful ruler.
Imagine Link as a king. Well-meaning, but inept. He doesn't fit the bill!

Well, we don't know if marrying Zelda means you are automatically King. After all, Midna talks about Zelda being groomed to rule. Zelda would be Queen, and her husband Prince Consort, to follow the British model.

Not really, Howl, name one time. Usually they earn a high place as a Noble or leader of the army or such.

Also, it would be hard for him to be King when he can't talk.

As if that wasn't just game mechanics.

And you have to answer all those "yes or no" questions. He at least knows those two words. :D

He talks. Remember in the beginning: "Your voice carries well, as usual"? Er, who said that? It wasn't Fado, was it? Or the guy on the platform? Bah, I can't remember.

I see him with his own special, noble place in some crack-troop division of the Hyrule military. Zelda and Link will always be fond of eachother, to be sure, but still, I'm doubtful they would make a couple.

I don't think they ever really were fond of each other.

and he was talking about yelling, which takes no comprehension of language to do.
