who was zelda's mother? i know it was never metioned in any games, but who do u think it would have been?

It's strange that you mentioned this but I've been replaying the Wind Waker and I am coincedently in the pirates' ship and I checked out Tetra's cabin. If you look to your right you see a portrait of a woman and if you set your camera and zoom in to her shirt/ blouse(I don't know clothes) you can see a triangular object.
I think that, that portrait is Tetra's mother. Check it out if you have the chance.

No, tetra is zelda and comes from a long line of princesses(zeldas). That picture can't be Tetra zelda, it has to be her mom. The picture is a bit fuzzy but you can still make out what looks like a necklace. The same triforce necklace that is said to be passed down to each descendant.

Links mother was probably a Hylian who lived in either Hyrule market town or Kakarigo villiage. The market town seems more likely to me. Links parents are killed when he is a baby so this also opens the question as to who killed them and how they were killed.
link's dad dies in the war. link's mom takes link to the deku tree and gets injured on the way. she still carried on running. she reached the deku tree and then dies. got it?
