I noticed this some time back, but I didn't post it on here because I'd forgotten by the time I joined... But Tetra from Windwaker is the same colours as her namesake, a group of fish.
More specifically, a neon tetra.

It's hard to tell, but if it were illustrated, it'd be easier... I'm afraid they're rather... translucent. But the top fins and a touch of the upper body are yellow/gold, as is Tetra's hair.
Following this is a strip of blue, like her shirt. (We're skipping the bandana at this point; I'm going more for clothes that conceal more important areas if you catch my drift.)
Under this is red, as her belt is. And under all this is a light, almost creamish colour, it kind of changes depending on the lighting; but Tetra's pants are pale.
It's not much, but I thought I'd tell you guys before I forgot about it again. XD;
I used to have about ten neon tetras, so pretty....anyways, I always thought it was funny that she had the name Tetra, but I never thought about looking at the colors...and neon tetras are the most popular tetras, so that makes sense....coincidence or not?
Tetra also means 4. If we fill in the hole in the Triforce we would have a Tetraforce.
oh cool i never noticed that
NEAT!!! ;D ;) ;)
Welcome to the forums, and that post is against the rules. ;)not much of a greeting, I know, but still. Go check out the rules in the Announcements board.
That's cool I never notic that.
Actually, Miyamoto siad Tetra was named after the shape Tetrahelion. It is the actual mathmatical name of the shape of the Triforce.
I didn't say she was named after the fish, I was saying more about how she was designed similarly to the neon tetra.
...Oh wait, I did. Crap. Anyways, ignore that, it was more about how she's coloured like the fish. ... Which is probably a big coincidence.
