Is it me, or does Emporer Beld (http://img.tar.hu/tyukhusleves/img/18433590.jpg) look a lot like everyones favorite baddie, Ganondorf?
Where is he from and what came first, because it seems a little too coincidental to me.

He even has the random eyes everywhere like Vaati does. (And Ganon, maybe, I never paid too much attention to him.(He's still cool, though))
Lodoss Wars?! Whoooa, it's been a long time since I've seen that. That was one of the first animes I ever watched/read. Pretty good, the typical Dungeons & Dragons style fantasy-anime.
But, haha, yes. :B He does look like Ganondorf
Apart from the hair and the skin, which aren't exactly striking enough for someone to not have come up with on their own, I really don't see any resemblance.
I wish Ganondorf had that armor.
They don't look as much the same as you are suggesting.
