Link says that about 29-30 times in the 13 episode "Legend of Zelda" series. I think we know why he's silent in the games.
(Also, I think Navi may be trying to get revenge.)

I was JUST looking at that. xD That's how I counted them all.
I think Link is lactoseintolerant.
What does not being able to drink milk have to do with annoying catchphrases?
You don't want to know.
lmao, HNS I don't dare peek into your inner thoughts :P :P
Right now, my inner thoughts are focused on catching Suicune in Fire Red, so it's rather safe. :P
Fine, fine, but if I end up battling a legendary you're gonna get it. Anyways, yeah, Link's little catch phrase there is most liekly why they decided to make him shut up. :P

You don't want to know.
You seem to be the only one who got it.
Ganon put a spell on Link forbbiding him to speak. Ganon thought it would be a good idea, but in turn did the world a favor.
Zelda got so sick of hearing it, that during the "Excuuuuuuse" psrt she threw a bomb in his mouth. This inspired a popular boss strategy.
Oh Boy! I can't wait to bomb some Dodongos!
lol precisely. I was hoping someone would get it...
