Totes weird, seems like this topic ought to have been gotten to before.
What's your fondest memory involving Zelda? I know there are some good ones out there. Go on, make Nintendo proud.

As for me, by warmest memory was when I was working on LttP and I got stuck. I think it was the thieves' dungeon thing. Anyhow, I was a lot younger, and my older sister had just gotten married. As soon as she did, I refused to talk to my brother-in-law, until I heard him chatting away with my sister and mother about Zelda! Aaaand...I asked him, since he played Zelda, could he help me with the one dungeon. He did, and we started talking. If it weren't for Zelda, we probably still wouldn't talk to eachother. :B
Mine was the entire Oracle of Seasons game. It's my favorite Zelda game. My favorite part, though, has to be racing through that room in the 6th dungeon(Ancient Ruins) while the walls were trying to crush you.
Gotta go with Majoras Mask. 250 hours of bliss, and seeing Majora kill herself. That actually happened. I was about to kill her, but she hit one of her top thingies, and it exploded right in her face.
A bit off-topic, but why do you think Majora is female? It seemed pretty masculine to me.
Edit: Not to make this whole post completely useless, I'm gonna have to say the ending to The Wind Waker. From the moment you meet Ganondorf on the top of his tower, to Link and Tetra sailing off to find the New Hyrule. That was undoubtedly the best ending to a Zelda game...ever. I very much doubt they could top that.
Ah, yes. Finally stabbing the Master Sword into his head was amazing. Definitely one of their best endings.

This (http://www.generation17.com/izc/forums/viewtopic.php?t=487) article has a few reasons as to way Majora could be female near the end of it. Plus, why does every villian have to be male? Why can't they be female?
As for my favorite memories, I also have to go with pretty much all of MM. And.....
I loved how Zant threw a temper tantrum the last time I came face-to-face with him. I was expecting someone a tad bit more bad***, but his behavior threw me off.
Also, the Final Battle in TP was amazing to me. So beautiful...Every single stage of it.
Nintendo might have wanted to have a female villian instead of Ganon, and Dark Link. I'd say Dethl, but theres no clues whatsoever to its gender. Majora screamed and laughed like a girl a lot. And this is off-topic, but is there a game where theres a female uber-villian, because I can't think of any?
Oracle of Ages, Veran, sorceress of Shadows.
Fondest Zelda moment... It may not be my first, but I've gotta go with the first part of Ocarina of Time... Just playing that on christmas morning and feeling so much that I'd thought I'd never experience.
When I wasn't that interested in video games, I would watch my Dad play The Wind Waker. I would even sneak out of my room and watch him playing until midnight (I'd get into trouble ;)). It was also the first Zelda game I beat.
Ocarina of Time was probably the peice that made me hooked onto Zelda, though.
Getting the Triforce in LttP. Just because it was so nostalgic. Final blow in WW. So awesome. Final blow in TP. So epic.
Though I have a lot of great memories, I'll never forget then ending of LA. When I finally heard from the Owl that the whole island was just a dream and that everything would vanish if I'd wake the WindFish, I stopped playing for a week. I couldn't imagine that actually happening! Was that supposed to be a happy end? If I'd get to choose, I'd let the thing sleep and live a happy life on the island.
However, I didn't get that choice and, well, wanted to finish the game. It hurt when I saw everything and everyone disappear. It really did. I consider it one of the better endings.
My fondest memory was the ending of tWW... it was just so... awesome. But the thing I remember the most... was when I fought Gohma in the Great Deku Tree in Ocarina of Time. My friend let me borrow her Zelda Collection disc so I could play Windwaker, but after realizing it was a twenty minute demo, I decided to play the other games. Zelda (the original) was... kinda disorienting, Zelda II was... weird, Majora's Mask was flippin' insane. D: Then I played OoT and... Got it.
So I was like... un-used to the controls, so I was kind of struggling, but that's how it is in the game; bad at first, better later on. So anyways, I was scuttering around the Great Deku Tree, and one of Gohma's spawn fell from the ceiling. It really freaked me out, so I ran across the room and tried to ignore it after killing it. Then I found the boss room, and I screamed when she fell from the ceiling. :3;
Gyorg and Morpheel were both kinda terrifying to me, as well, but it was the only time I screamed playing the game.
EDIT: Oh, and while I was playing Twilight Princess, there was a Dodongo on the ceiling, and I thought over how to kill it, so I ran to a corner to shoot it with an arrow; then it fell from the ceiling and died before I even assigned my bow to B. owo;
Saving Zelda in LttP. I actually wrote a report on it once.
When I got interested in Zelda and I played TWW also when after the waiting I got TP and I can say a lot of different good memories of each zelda game.
They all are. ;D
When link leaves the kokiri forest in oot. It's just so touching with saria...
When link meets shiek.
It was soo funny when adult link meets ruto in the water temple (classic) ;D
I can't remember too well, but in LA, I think there's a bit where you go in a cave and on the back wall is an inscription, hinting at what happens, and how the island is a dream/nightmare.
The music was so sad, I just sat there for ages, staring at it being sad.
And I pretty much loved all of OoT, my first and favourite Zelda game. Especially the Temple of Time and getting Epona.
Oh and in TP when you go through the doors into the temple of time, the music is lovely and it felt so nostalgic even though it was quite different.
