Title: smash bros controllers
Post by: Dehumanizer on June 11, 2007, 07:24:20 AM
The Nintendo Wii really is a versatile piece of hardware.
I mean, when it comes to controllers, there are pretty much four different types.

All used in smash bros

There's no need to be confused about what does what—just choose the play style you prefer!

I suppose I would recommend the Nintendo GameCube controller, though. I like the feel of that powerful rumble.

Still, try out the other controls—they definitely give you a fresh experience.

Hmm? How do you do smashes and dashes with just the Wii Remote?
If I get the chance to tell you, I will.

No offense, but the grammar is far too good for this to be your own writing.  If you're going to copy and paste, cite your source(s).

For some reason, I doubt that.

Anyways, I'll probably use the Wiimote & Nunchuk attachment; I'll have +5 advantage with Link. ... okay, maybe not.

You took five minutes to copy and paste from Brawl's official site and then get rid of one sentence and add in one of your own (the one lacking proper capitalization and punctuation).

Just about nothing pisses me off more than plagiarizing.  If it's not your work, you give credit to the proper person or site.  There may not be a rule for it, but I think you deserve a warning for this (hell, maybe even more than one).  You constantly copy and paste without citing your sources, and it shouldn't go unpunished.

Well, Hi no Seijin brings up a good point.  While plagiarizing is not an offense stated by our rules, it is an offense by the law outside this forum.  So, should plagiarism be a warnable offense here?  I for one would like to see this made a rule.  But I don't want to act on my own, so I'll consult the other mods on this.

I don't think it's a problem if you do it at first, I do it sometimes, forgetting to cite. But if you openly SAY that you made it yourself, then there's a problem....

Whatever, man. This is the Internets! It's not like he's openly hurting anyone if...

Aww screw it, it's annoying, but I don't think it a warnable offense. Let the law catch up to the kid.

So I can just claim everything you say as your own and get away with it, JQ?

This is a moral dilemma, yes. But maybe now that you've caught him, he'll fess up?

He didn't even put much effort into trying to hide it. It's almost as bad as when we had to do an essay on Huck Finn and he copied the entire essay from the Sparknote site that half the class used instead of reading the book.
