The Desert Colossus

Being the PH-obsessed fangirl that I am, I immediately looked up the opening sequence on Youtube after I realized PH was out.

I thought it was interesting how they went for a paper/pop-up style with the opening, as opposed to the mural-like WW one.

I love the faces they make on the paper/pop-up things, too.

The music is very strong as well, it's the best I've heard on the DS so far.

Chya, that was pretty cool. Even if I had no idea what the heck was going on. ;)

The music was especially good, with the all the various recognizable themes and such.

Now I look forward to this game even more. I have to get a DS..

Oh, MAN, the plot seems a lot more interesting! That opening scene got me into it, and the exciting force seemed to get the story started right away!

Yes, when/if I get a DS, I definitely should get this game.

Pic 1 - A Story from a little while ago...
- One Day, there were pirates, whom the leader was a little girl
- Her name was Tetra, and she was a very beautiful Tomboy Girl
- Tetra and her followers, were on a journey exploring the wide ocean

Pic 2 - One day, Tetra stopped at an island and met a boy
- And then, after alot of things, they journeyed together

Pic 3 - During the journey, Tetra was taken in by a myterious light
- Her appearance changed to a beautiful princess
- Amazingly, she was, of a destroyed country's...
- "Hyrule Kingdom" Princess Zelda

Pic 4 - However,with a surprise, a mysterious man appeared
- And kidnapped Princess Zelda!
- The myterious person was after Hyrule's Holy Power
- That power, he was planning for something evil...
- That boy went after Princess Zelda to rescue her...

Pic 5 - Sailing the ocean, scaling the mountains, it was a long, long, journey
- Inheriting great power, the little boy became a brave man...
- The finishing blow, amazingly beat that evil force...
- The kidnapped Princess Zelda was saved

Pic 6 - At that time, looking for new land, Princess Zelda, the brave man, set sail with the pirates

*Appears to pirate*
Blue Bandana Pirate:
- So how is it, my legendary picture book that I made
- "Tetra was actually Princess Zelda!" I did a good job didn't I?
- Hey Link! Why are you sleeping?

Tetra:
- Liiiiiink!
- Liiiiiink!

*Tetra comes down*
- This isnt the place to be playing around!
- Do a good job keeping a look out, got it?
- My goodness, he's so sovenly!
- Defeating Magic Users, and saving me, you wouldnt think of him as a brave man, would you?

Red Bandana Pirate:
- PRINCESS ZELDA!! We're almost at the place in the ocean now-

Tetra:
- Hey! I told you didnt I? Dont call me Zelda!
- Call me Tetra or Boss like you've always have
- And more importantly!
- This is the sea that's rumoured to have the Phantom Ship appear, isnt it?
- Look for ships like that and confirm it properly

Blue Bandana Pirate:
- We should stop
- This is the place where alot of ship go missing, isnt it?
- It has to be the Phantom Ships work -

Tetra:
- That's right Niico! and the ship that passes through here is--

Blue Bandana Pirate:
- Everyone is scared of that pirate ship, so they'll go back
*shivers*
- For me... ghosts are my weakness

Red Bandana Pirate:
- But Boss...
- From what we heard from the last ship, this is the "Ocean Kings, Great Phantom Ocean"
- In which he rules the sea, is what they said, isnt it?
- That phantom Ship roamsthis sea and...
- Why do boats go missing here?
- If there really is a Phantom Ship here...

Tetra:
- Dont say such sovenly things!
- The bottom line is a Phantom Boat does not roam around here
- All it is are some nasty pirates doing horrible things, that much is obvious
- And i'll expose their identity
- I'll teach them there are rules to be followed in the ocean
- One top of which, if there really is an Ocean King and Great Phantom Ocean, that would be too suspicious

*Get's all foggy*

Blue Bandana Pirate:
- WHAAA!!! See.. See...
- It's as if the air is saying that the Phantom Ship is coming out
- Let's stop going around in a suspicious place!

Tetra:
- Dont say such stupid things!
- To see the world - taking a short cut does not exist!

Red Bandana Pirate:
- It's a ship!

*Phantom Ship comes*

Blue Bandana Pirate:
- It-it-it came out! It's the Phantom Ship!
- As I thought! The sea is cursed!

Tetra:
- Geeze Niico you're so sovenly arent you? It's not that kind of ship

Blue Bandana Pirate:
- But this looks like the rumoured Phantom Ship!

Tetra:
- Intresting... maybe there is treasure inside!
- I'll expose their identity!

*Tetra Jumps in the boat*

*Tetra is in a blueish, purplish ball*:
- Save me link... save me...

Fairy:
- Oh, thank goodness you're awake!
- I thought you were done for because you wouldn't move!
- Looks like you're not hurt anywhere. You should be alright.
- My name is Sierra, a fairy.
- I was taking a walk out here when I found you unconscious.
- What in the world happened?

*Link is confused then remembers*

- What? A ghost ship?
- One of your friends, a girl, got taken away by it?
- The ship that came after you...
- Was all wrecked too...
- But isn't it just a rumour?
- The story about how the people it abducted were never seen again I mean.

I thought it was good, but what happened to Links sword? I thought he kept the sword Orca gave him.
