I was playing over TP yesterday and I noticed that when I got the big key, map, or compass, Link no longer held up one of his hands and went, "DUN DUN DUN DUUUUNNN! YOU GOT THE(INSERT ITEM NAME). USE IT TO(INSERT PURPOSE). Now he just holds his hands out in front of him. It anoyes mr because when I first played Zelda I laughed my butt off when I saw Link do that. It was like his trade mark. But no, this, this, DESECRATION! What do you think?
P.S. I also noticed that almost everytime you get a rupee he treats it like gold.
Link finally broke his annoying habit of holding things above his head. I'm proud of him.
...I love how giddy he gets when he does something as a wolf, though. If you howl, he runs around in a happy circle, if you open a treasure chest, he wags his tail happily and smiles.

What about when Link puts water in a bottle? :P
Well, he doesn't do it with keys anymore.
... Why doesn't he ever, you know, drink the water? He always dumps it out, like it's poisoned.
I suppose Link could be afraid of water. That seems to be a staple among video game character--Sonic the Hedgehog, for example.
And Yoshi, too. Though Yoshi is also afraid of ghosts...
Maybe Link being a child at heart has something to do with it. Children are more likely to be afraid of water, or so I've heard. (I kind of doubt it, but whatever.)

No, Sonic games just have been badly designed since about 2000. You can survive a dip in lava, but you die instantly when you hit water or sand. Sand, people! Segas development team must be on crack.
Anyway, he doesn't drink it becuase he doesn't have to. Just like he doesn't have to eat, sleep, or sit down. He gets all his moisture from magic milk, poes, and potions.
Don't forget bee larvae!
Hm... a diet of concentrated evil, milk, potions, bugs, and fish? Delicious.
The reason Link does that in TWW is because in TWW Link was made to be a much more childish character than the older Links of the Zelda games. Most people don;t know this, but in that game Link is actuallyas old as child Link, they thought that "the age the hero started his adventure" or whatever meant Adult Link.

Yeah, but doesn't that mean when he started to collect the stones as a kid? o.0 :o
What do you mean? He still does it in TP. They just changed it from a trumpet to a chorus.
I just liked it better when he was doin what he used to do.
I remember when I was younger playing OOT and when I first heared that, I couldn't stop laughing!
I mean, imagine, you find a penny on the floor, hold it up and all you can hear is:
DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUUNNNN!
XD lmao!
I can't imagine seeing someone doing that, everytime they found a penny or an object! =D
I do that to be retarded sometimes. Of course, I also talk to myself. My friends love watching me buy a soda.
Fisk: -inserts money- -gets a soda- -holds it above her head- Dun dun dunnnn...! I got a soda. -puts in her pockets-

I miss how WW Link was all happy about a stinky bottle... :'(
I thought it does do the "DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN!" thing when you get an item. But I can't recal if he holds it up...I need to play it more.
