I liked that you could play with the cats and dogs in TP :D
I wish you could talk to the rats and the Bulbos. (boar mounts) /: They're animals too, man. So are the Keese. Discrimination. /:
they should of made a animal town :D that would of been fun
Go play Link's Awakening if you want an animal town. :)
Anyway, I think the animal part of TP was lousy. I thought it would actually be part of the gameplay, not some half-worked out gimmicky thing.
I've always thought it was pretty cool that you could interact with the animals in the game! I mean, the most you could ever do with the animals before was slash the cuccoos untill they ganged up on you and attacked you. But personally, I never really expected them to play any real role in the story. Sure, if you do certain things with them, herding the goats in Ordon for example, you get heart pieces, which is a nice bonus. Even if the animals don't offer much importance to the whole story, it's still fun to talk to them and such.

thats kinda were i got the idea from ;)
i love to play with the neko-chan and inu-chan
So CUTE!I even gave them names
I love the animals and i love it how you can talk to Epona (or what ever you named your horse) .And i love the cats there sooooo cute .
There are some frogs you can talk to next to the pregnant woman's house. They are right next to the river. It's fun to talk to them. Along with the rest of the animals:
- Squirrel
- Frogs
- Cats
- Dogs
- Cuccos
- Hawkes
- Epona
Note: If there are any animals in the game you can talk to not mentioned here, tell me! :D
That Parrot, Plumb I think it is, and the hawks.
You could talk to the hawks? I don't remember that... I'll have to check that out.
Nice topic revival, though, Whocares.
Plumb cna speak to both animals and humans, and thus doesn't actually count, because you don't need to be a wolf to understand it. (Plumb, however, doesn't like talking to humans)
Her name is Plumm, not Plumb. ^^; And she's a Manya bird...
You can talk to the hawks, but the information they tell you is just about as helpful as Epona's advice...
You should be able to talk to the Wolfos. If the only thing they said would be:
"KILLKILLKILLKILL"
I would be happy.

This brings an istersting question: why is link refered to as a wolf, but they are wolfos? I wonder what the diffrence is.
The wolfos in most of the other games are anthromorphic; in TP, they're much more sinewy and lithe. Link looks more lupine, as in, he has broader feet, a deeper chest, and a grrlier maw... oh, and he has smaller ears and a shorter tail.
In essence, the wolfos look more like foxes than an actual wolf.
Evility?
Making up words is fun! ;D
'Cause they are controlled by Ganon.
Wolfos were just plain annoying. I'm glad that they had actual wolves in this game(that don't stand upright to attack).

Ya, but the fact that it looks like a werewolf is awsome.
...Er, the wolfos in TP didn't look like werewolves. Unless you're talking about OOT/MM wolfos... Of course, the concept of a werewolf is subject to change, but I learned that they're more anthromorphic and misproportioned than your normal wolf.

I mean the OOT/MM ones of course.
i just found out that you can talk to epona :-[ shes really nice...
Nah, she's just like 'turn back into a human!'
I like the Golden Chicken. He talks funnies.
Is there any way to get into Falbis minigame as a wolf? I wanna see what the chickens there say.
I'm not sure, try staying in the 'below' section and then transform into a wolf after throwing some Cuccos down there, that seems like the most plausible way. Maybe you'll get a hint as to which Cucco is the best for the game that way... :D
I just tried that. All they say is "Are you winning lots of rupees?". Not too exciting 8)
Animals are just like people :P Only that to people you can talk with normal Link, and with the others like wolf... and besides, after I betaed the game the only fun thing to do was scarying people in Castle town with Da Big Bad Wolf :D ;) And the frogs are quite nice ::) or maybe not...
It is quite fun to run through hyrule as wolf link. The people scream and get out of your way.
Oh, yeah. I like to scare that old guy who asks for donations all the time. If you listen, he sounds like a little girl. ;D
The wolf aspect of the game is lacking, in terms of animals it would be cool if they had added the ability to team up with animals when you are a wolf, that would create more puzzle diversity. Hopefully they take that into consideration for the new games coming out...
