Title: Dreams
Post by: Rinku on July 14, 2007, 12:18:35 PM
(This topic isn't about the "goal in your life" dreams, it's about nightmares/awesome dreams you've had.)
So... everyone share :) I'm pretty curious when it comes to other people's dreams.

My usual recurring dream is falling/jumping off a waterfall- *I love that fake adrenaline rush  :)*

Last night I had a good nightmare. (???) Well anyway Dark from D.N. Angel was trying to kill me (mainly trying to slit my throat with this really shiny dagger) I tried to tell him I loved him, why are you trying to kill me? I thought you loved me too? etc. (I dunno why I was trying to say that.... I guess in the dream I was his girlfriend?) Well for some reason I just couldn't talk... it's so frustrating in dreams when that happens... when I wake up I talk outloud just to make sure I'm not really mute.... well anyways I ran away in my friend's car. She was driving and I was in the seat behind her. I said sarcastically, "lemme guess. He's right behind me." And he was and I saw the flash of the dagger before waking up. It was a nightmare since I was about to die, but Dark was there so it was awesome  ;)

I also have lots of zombie dreams, like those cheap zombie movies with all the blood and gore where the main character and his friends are the only humans and they're trying to escape. I like watching those kinds of movies for some reason so that's probably why my dreams are that way  ;)

I like nightmares. A nightmare is a catastrophe that happens with the confines of your mind. Its an entirely new chaotic world, and it really interests me. When a dream you have scares the crud out of you, it can scare the crud out of other people too (hence Steven King). Its cool to know that you can think of something so scary that you wouldn't watch it if it were a movie. I know how to wake myself up from a dream or nightmare, but I often don't.

I can't wake myself up, but I'm not sure I'd want to anyway.
Sometimes I like nightmares, the rush they give you, but other times they can be truly horrific.

The only recurring dream I have is where my shin bones are being scraped, it's strange. But the other day I had a great dream, kinda weird but awesome.

Thats awesome! The only nightmare I had that I really wanted to wake up from, was one that I didn't even know was a nightmare. Someone I really loved got hit by a car. And the person driving the car apparently looked like me, because everyone, even she, was blaming me. It was terrible. I woke up crying, and spent the whole day depressed until I thought: I can't drive! And I haven't seen her in a while! It was a dream!
I was SO relieved. I got a bowl of Ice Cream, and called her :)
I once also had a nightmare that I went to hell. The things crawling around down there are SCARY! :-[

I have nightmares quite often. They usually involve fish or zombies. Or... fish zombies.

A dream from a few weeks ago:
I was at Wal-Mart with my mother and grandma in the fish department; though the aquariums were larger and it seemed to be the only thing for a while. I was allowed three other fish and a beta. (Probably because I want an aquarium, ever since my beta died.) I chose a glass vase for my beta, and a nice little tetra-looking fish. There was this snake/chameleon fish, and a sort of rat-looking grouper fish I got, as well. I was very... indecisive and then when I got the fish, they were vacuum-sealed in a bracelet; I was supposed to wear it as a way of keeping the fish, but after I went in the parking lot, curiosity got the best of me; I peeled open one, and the fish was perfect... and then it turned to ash and flew away. The bones of the rat-fish reached up and grabbed my arm, and then I just abruptly woke up.

A recurring dream:
Once again, I'm buying fish in Wal-Mart/some generic fish place, except with (faceless) friends. They got a simple goldfish, and we began walking to person A's house. A leak sprung in the bag (which I was holding) and I said "oh no, should we get a new bag for it?" and person B said "No, it's fine; we're almost there." So we kept walking, and I noticed the water seeping into me as I covered it with my hand. A while later, the fish was transferring with the water into my palm. "When are we gonna get there?" I asked, and person A said: "Well, it doesn't matter; if it dies, we can just get another." A while later, I started freaking out; the plastic bag was empty, and the fish was swimming freely in my hand.

"Please, help, it's in my hand!"
"remember what I said about how we could just get another one?" Person A draws a weapon, pointing it at me.
"Please.. what did I do?!"
"Everything, don't you know?" Person B says, and then I get killed, but it zooms to the fish in my palm. blood fills the water in my palm, and the fish dies.

Thats crazy dude :-[
I've had some freaky dreams, but I can't accurately explain them. Nice dreams though! Try doing different things every time the dream occurs. Like once, try running as far as you can. I love changing the outcome of re-occurring dreams!

"Whoa." I actually said that out loud when I read the rest of your post, Fisk. Very eerie. :-[

I once had this dream that in my old school, some kind of green poisonous gas filled the air, and everyone was these green monsters with round heads, which had dragonfly-like wings. In a way, I guess you could say that they turned into monsters that had heads that looked like Navi or Tatl when they turn green. I don't really remember if it was scary or not, but I do plan on using the "story" behind it as a future story plot device. ;)

At some other times, there are dreams where there's this giant bug trying to get at me. I am insectophobic (among other things), but luckily, it doesn't take long for me to wake up from them. However, I usually end up being shaky/twitchy afterwards--you know, the kind of shaky/twitchy that Han Solo was in Return of the Jedi right after he was freed from the carbonite. :-X

One time I had a dream the world was going to get flooded by global warming. I got saved by a whale made out of peanutbutter (by the way: I hate peanutbutter) but then I got really sad because it only saved and all my friends and family drowned. :(

crazy dream

I was at my high school with my friends, when an explosion went off in the distance. Suddenly Zombies, like honest to goodness zombies busted through the front door of my high school. So me and two of my friends, and one of my friends from a long time ago are running through what now looks more like a mini mall that a high school, and we found an exit on the second floor. Weird I know. There was a store on the second floor that had a few Katanas. I didn't know how to use them, so but I took one anyways. So we are running back to my friend's house, and the Zombies are now chasing us for some reason. My friend couldn't make it, and they got him :-*

Thats when I woke up. I had that dream a few months ago, but I still remember it... weird dream

I can't stand zombies in dreams... XD They just freak me out to no end.. especially if someone I know gets caught by them. Navi-headed students... Well, it sounds pretty neat.

another freaky dream:
There was a long pier in a gigantic lake, and at the end was someone's house. It was rickety, and really foggy; it was like out of some cheap horror flick, or something. XD I got to the house, and it had a "lawn" made of excess boards added to the pier, and had skulls on the interior wall. Not... OMG SCARY!, just skulls from trophy animals. There was a couple with scratched out faces (very rarely do people have proper faces in my dream) and who looked... dead. They didn't move at all in the dream. They had lots of cats, but there was something the matter with them. When you were outside, they had skin, fur, etc., but inside, they were stripped of everything and were just.. bones. I looked at my own arms, and the skin was dissolving.

I ran out of the house, blood just pooling on my pantlegs from lack of skin. Then, I looked in the water. It cleared, and as some blood dripped into the water, I saw this simply gigantic (blue whale sized) shrimp/walking stick mix slither up to the surface. it's eyes were totally blank, and it was a pale, ghostly colour. it jumped up and broke the pier in two, and then more joined it. I ran and ran and ran... and then the pier ended up snapping in front of me, and I jumped across the gap, and I landed on the edge, crawling up the edge, but I was just too weak. I got eaten. Bummer.

Ok, freakish dream. It has only happened to me once, and it was about two years ago, but it is really weird.

So, I'm in the store, and I am looking at the magazines. My mom is in the other isle, looking at canned food or something. I see some workers come in and remove a magazine that talked about celebrities(we'll call it MIV), and they put Tips and Tricks(pretty much my favorite magazine) in its place.

So, we leave the store, and go home. My mom asks me to let out the dogs, which I say I'll do in a second. She instantly grounds me(which usually wouldn't happen). Then, we were heading to yoga. As she got out, she told me she was canceling my Tips and Tricks subscription as part of the grounding. As we walked towards the building, I told my mom that she couldn't cancel my Tips and Tricks magazine because it was unfair. A woman who was walking towards the building as well over heard us, and she glared at me. If looks could kill, I would have been dead as a doornail. She had evil intent in the glare, I assure you.

So, anyways, we go home, and my mom goes over to my neighbors to help plant flowers. I was getting bored and decided to try to argue my Tips and Tricks case again. So I go over the neighbors house, and I see a woman who was dressed in the same clothes as my mom. I poked her on the shoulder and said that taking away my Tips and Tricks subscription was unfair.

The woman turned around. She was the same woman as earlier, apparently she had changed into the same clothes as my mom. Her eyes were bloodshot, and her hair was suddenly sticking up. "Don't ever say that name," she whispered. "MY FAVORITE MAGAZINE(the MIV thing I mentioned earlier) WENT OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THEM," this time, her voice was roaring in my ear. She reached behind her and took out a pickax. I ran to my van(I don't know why I didn't go into my house), opened the door, and hopped in. I locked the door, hoping she wouldn't get in. She began to swing at the window of the door with a pickax, and when I broke, I thought I woke up.

I was in my room, and it was like i had just waken up. I looked out of the window, and I saw her staring at me, and then I woke up.

Freakish or what

I have a recurring dream when I have fever, I'm standing in front of a tower being built, it's like the lighthouse of Alexandria or something.

A recent crazy dream I had was that I was going to Six Flags Magic Mountain for the Halloween stuff, and when I entered it was like Mario Party board (yes with floating dice block and all :-[), and for some reason I wanted to find Epona, it was weird because I felt like we had been friends a long time ago. Then, I was looking at myself like a normal Mario Party interface in a snowy board, and it kept going like that for a while until I arrived to an abandoned stable. And there I met three witches that challenged me to guess who was the wisest, the strongest and the most courageous (I know, the triforce! :o ); after that, well, it was useless to guess anyway. Then I thought that the only way to call Epona was to play her song (by this point I was "inside of me" again), then I appear at my grandma's living room, and I start looking for OoT OST, I find the box, but it's empty. So now I'm all down about how I failed to find Epona, and I exit the park and wake up.

And my most recent dream was a short one, I was at work and my girlfriend and her friends arrive, and when I kissed my girlfriend, she turns out to be my cousin, I was so freaked out that I woke up.

I have no real method to wake up, but when I realize it is a dream and try to interfeer with it, I get the strange sensation of being pulled into reality (pretty wierd).

I had this really wierd one where I was black(I don't mean to sound racist) and I was in a jungle, and I think I was a freedom fighter for someone, and theres a picnick table, and a fire. I'm talking to someone, and then we hear some jeeps coming. We try to hide everything, and I hide under a table. Everyone else is gone, and this guy comes over aiming a gun at me, and tells me theres a bounty on me. I tell him I'm chinese. He laughs at me and I say, "No, really I am. I was born in Zumbawe(or whatever that african country that starts with a "Z" is called) but my family was killed when I was little, but I was adopted by chinese." I think he luaghed after that, and he shot me.

Then there was one where I saw these huge grey people who had no faces and were doing something weird witha fire. I was 5 at the time, and I know some other stuff happened in that dream, but I can't remember them.

I never had any hallucinations, not in my 15 long years of life. I would imagine them to be quite scary, though, considering that for a moment you would think they were real (no matter how scary or creepy they may be). I think my Nana used to have hallucinations about certain religious things...

...I had a few dreams I remember, but I forget almost all of them...have them all the time..

1.) The earliest one I remember, it started with Link in the 2D format running around a room. He went up a staircase and was out on the roof of a castle, and there was this cloaked...THING with a huge axe. Then he just ran down the stairs again. Then it went 3D and you could see it was Barney inside the cloak. :o You saw the two other dinosaurs from the show on the moon or something, bleeding and almost dead. (Their blood was a different color...) Then Barney appeared behind one of those Disney princesses or something and was about to behead her when I woke up. It was when I was six or so.

2.) This was based on the Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey, and it was freaking sweet. I woke up in some kind of old rural farm house, went downstairs and talked to an old guy, then went exploring with one of my friends. We found this cave and looked through it, and we found these eggs. We each took one and they hatched, and they were fire-lizards, which are very miniature dragons, about two feet long or so. We walked around and stuff with the lizards, it was fun.

I'll tell you if I remember more...

I once dreamt I could turn into a wolf! It was fun! Then I went to the nearby elementary school I used to go to and went inside. There was nobody there. And outside, it was really creepy, because there was nobody outside at all. It's like the whole neighborhood was deserted. Not to mention the sky had clouded over and it was dead silent.

Kinda like the Twilight Realm only with no one there (Maybe kinda like Laken Hylia with all the Zora's frozen?)?

Last night I had a dream, that a guy was beating his 13 year old kid while he was going up the hill next to our house. And the wierd part is they both looked cute, and the dad looked really young. 0_o Then I saved him, and then it was 2pm and the kid was like, "2pm. I was like, "What?" (And it was getting dark, too. 0_o) And he was like, "2pm is when my dad..." and I was like, "It's okay. You're safe now."
Then the next day, there was this like, little group of boys with a teacher in our front yard, and they were all on bikes, and I was at the side of the house, and boy A rode out a little bit and saw me and stared at me and he was cute, then boy B did the same thing and he was cute too. XDDD It was pretty wierd...

The omelet thing was kind of joking; the dream just reminded me that I hadn't had omelets in a while, so I made some. XD

I had a dream last night that I was going to go to a friend's house... but I didn't really want to. So my parents took me over to the house, and I, for some reason, had my own house right next to their's.

It looked normal on the outside, though a bit torn up. On the inside, it looked like your generic frat house; messy, crap everywhere, etc. And there were drunk people... except they were more like zombies, people who couldn't die; they were trying to drink themselves to death.

And so I was stuck between people I don't like and zombies, one of my greatest fears.

I had a dream I was Link once- except my weapon wasn't a Master Sword, but one of those scythes on a chain... I think a good example of that would be the weapon Sango's (from Inuyasha) little brother Kohaku uses. So I was running around going, "Fear the Master-Scythe-Sickle-on-a-chain!!!!" I was at school, but no one was there and my voice was echoing through the halls.

Now this was a weird dream with loose connections and flow that doesn't really make any sense.

First part starts off with a volcano erupting unexpectedly, except there were people already on the summit/crater. But when it erupted, it got really fast and magma flew up and hit people, a little graphic. After the eruption, we see people on ropes on the crater trying to do something (Shouldn't be doing that...) and in the area around the volcano, it was messed up because there was a fair bit of diseased waste, so they had to clean all of that up...

Then in the next part I go with someone on what appeared to be a double date at a diner of sorts (or something)... But it goes through and time passes and it's like I'm not conscious or anything. then I seem to regain consciousness and I find that my friend had a relatively good time (didn't seem that way near the beginniing as I seemed to be arguing with this guy.) After that, the diner becomes closed and it's late at night. There's some annoying guy that works there and rips people off with a little rigged game that cossts 25 bucks.  so I turn off the light and try to kill this guy, llight comes on, and the owner goes about, light goes back off and I go about with the killing. Then my mind does a weird thing and I go outside trying to run away from the diner. It's really dark and I start to slow down, not really being able to run (this happens to me a lot in dreams). Then I think about it and try to turn into a wolf, but I can't not with a simple light thought... I try to run some more to escape and it passes and I think really hard and suddenly sped up  and turn into a wolf of sorts. Then I circle around to the woods in the back of my home and think about eliminating the body there. Before I wake up I look to the sky and it's like there's a fissure in the sky (but it was actually my eyes starting to open...)

Near the beginning of the diner scene I was thinking about Back to the Future and that scene at the diner/restuarant/whatever. That was weird.

And near the end of the dream, I seemed to be posting this right here, except the background was dark and the font, blue.

That last part sounds like a dream into the future... that's happened to me sometimes. I would dream something and the next day something very similar to it will happen.

For example, one time, I had a dream I was off a highway and looking at this tall row of trees and bushes on my sides and rolling plains of grass in the distance. I was kinda just staring at them. Eventually I woke up.

About 3 years later I saw an area while driving through North Carolina that looked nearly identical to that in my dream. It was really creepy.

I had a dream last night about TDC. Instead of an online forum, we were a forum in an apartment complex. We all had our own rooms and bathrooms, but they weren't identical. For example, Twilight Wolf's had a Beatles collection and JQ had paints and stuff in his room.

I don't know, it was an amusing concept. Though we were in Southern Canada, so a lot of us were rather... un-used to the changes.

I had a nice dream... Parts of it were like Lost, other parts reminded me of a school of some sort and other parts it was like a city in ruins after a disaster... The parts that seemed to take place in this school, I was with a group of others. It is hard to describe it exactly, it wasn't a true connection as one would associat e commonly. But it was a lovely natural feeling being with some of these others...

The other parts, there seemed to be a family that was scattered around, I found a girl or two in a bus that were there for two years, it was weird... Like the whole place was in a subtle atmosphere, not that heavy, just there and nothing else, it seemed a little creepy, but only in the slighter ways. Also a part about a wood surrounding this area, there also seemed to be a flood in there somewhere... THe rest of it is pretty hazy, but the part at the school was nice, hehe...

Okay, I had a really bad nightmare. This scared the daylights out of me, and I remember it like it was real life. I'll do everything I can to explain it. What crazier, is that a song that I know was playing in the background, like it was part of a music video. Here we go:

me and two of my friends, Jim, and Kim, were sitting on a car. There were brick walls, and electric fences around us. We were trapped somehow. It was dusk, and the space we were in was only growing darker. I looked around, and saw headless cats walking around, and even scarier than that, monkeys were running around with human heads, messily sewn to their necks in place of their heads. Freaky things pulled themselves along, missing the lower half of their body. We were looking around in such shock. We didn't know how we got there, or where we even were. It hurt to see these things walking around, knowing that it was the work of a mad genetic scientist, and that people were his subjects.

Suddenly, the steel door burst open, and a man in a lab coat and glasses stepped out, and walked towards us. Naturally, we freaked, and started to run, but he caught up to us like we weren't even running. He grabbed Kim by the throat, and began walking back to the door. I chased after him, and tackled him to the ground. He stood up, with me still punching him, and grabbed me by the arm. He smiled at me, and it wasn't a nice one. He tossed me across the room, and I hit the wall. He took Kim to the back room, and closed the door. moments later, I saw an ape walk past me. When he turned and looked at me, I cried. It was Kim's head on the ape's body. She obviously wasn't in control, because her head hung, and her eyes didn't look alive anymore.

I couldn't hold back the tears, and I freaked out. Everything became a blur, and I could hardly move. The freaky dude came back out of the room, and grabbed me by my neck, just as he had my friend. He dragged me into the back room, and he had almost in-human strength. I figured he had fused his muscles with an ape's or something. He closed the door, and all went dark. When I awoke from me dream, I was strapped to a table. The mad scientist walked up to me and smiled. "Time to wake up. Time to wake up from the life you never knew existed within you. Its time to fully awaken." A thing went spinning around my head, and I blacked out. I woke up this morning, and laid in bed for a while thinking about the dream. Every time I head the song now, I'll think about that horrible dream. And that really sucks, because I liked the song.

Wow, that was a really weird dream, ZV. I've never liked labs/animal testing, anyways, so... well, yeah, I wasn't too fond of it.

I haven't been dreaming lately; or rather, I can't make sense of my dreams. It's like, one part happens, then it goes to another dream, and then skips back to the other... they're all inter-connected but loosely and badly.

I also collapsed like... last night, I think. I don't remember very much of my dream, except that there was a "thunderfish." It lived in the night sky; it was jet black, and you could tell it was moving because the stars would "go out" around it. It's roar was thunder, and when it would whip its caudal fin, thunder would strike, illuminating it slightly.

I was just sort of... floating there, in space.

I don't remember a lot of what I dreamt about last night, but I do remember some of it. It was dark, about the time of day when the sun is gone and the sky is almost completely black, but there is still some light. I was walking around what I guess was supposed to be the neighborhood I used to live in, and it was really strange, because everything was really small... all of the houses were really small, like those play houses you see in kids' backyards. The roads were only the size of a typical sidewalk, and they twisted together into lots of strange intersections, like vines climbing a wall. There was only one houseless spot in the whole area, and it was pretty much just blank. No plants of any kind, except for a few stray weeds poking up. It was a very abstract and unusual dream.

I had a dream two nights ago where it was just after a atom bomb dropped in the future. I was in the head of a robotthat had fallen down and had a crack between it body and head like this /\. then this little robot like clank came. I told it to get in a can. When war soldiers came. Did I mention that a was at the circumfrunce of the destruction. After the soldiers left I came out. I looked at the remaining trees. They all were noxuis looking like they could give you a deasiase if you were to close for to long. I went through the densest area of trees you'll ever see.fnding probably the last area of un-cultivated deasiase free trees you will ever see with fresh clean crisp water like 40 feet down.

Go figure, right after I say I don't have dreams much, I have one. XD It's weird, at first, we're at some amusement park place... it's a water park, but we're riding a roller coaster in a large, rubber boat. We get dragged up really high, and then we fall... but there's no seat belts or anything, so we just fall off.

I kept falling and then hit this gigantic pool at the bottom... hard. Then some of my friends (ginger-haired teenage girl and boy) paddled up and we left; we swam home. however, the boy got dragged down and started dragging me, as well. We had no idea who it was and just went home, thinking it was a prank. At my house, we climbed onto the beach when the boy got dragged down again. We helped him back out, and ran away.

We walked to this old cabin and then chatted with some old, sagely men. They told us things and then we went back to find a dead guy washed up on the beach. We checked his pulse and whatnot, and then the thing attacked my male friend again. these chicken/goat looking tracks showed up on the sand and I turned into a gryphon thing and attacked it. I could see it then, and I ripped it apart, but I was mortally wounded in the process.

Oh yeah, interesting fact: no one in my dream usually has a face, and I'm generally a guy in my dreams.

Sort of... I once dreamt I went to Ireland on a plane. It was really big inside, like the size of a school lunchroom. The strange thing was that there were no seats, just a wood floor. When the plane took off, everyone slid/tumbled to the back of the plane. It was fun, actually! So anyways, we got there, except I have no idea where it might have actually been. Then I went to the playground of my old elementary school, and I woke up. Then when I went back to sleep, the dream started back up exactly where I left off, like somebody had pressed "Pause," then "Play."

As for last night's dream, I dreamt I went skydiving and landed in my living room. That's all I can remember.

Why isn't there an option: "I only have nightmares and they kick behind!"

Seriously, I usually am in terrible danger in my "dreams", sometimes even get seriously wounded, but I always wake up with a big smile on my face. I enjoy them, even though they definetely qualify as nightmares.

Mostly, I have (semi) lucid dreams and remember big parts of my dreams after awakening, letting the dream continue on as thoughts.

I had a dream recently, in which I was in an amusement park, which looked like a large version of the Efteling (dutch amusement park) with some influences from Twilight Princess. Actually, it was more like a small city in the beginning. Anyway, at a certain moment, everyone rushed to the exit because the park was closing. I think someone in my dream told me you had to get out of there by closing time, because a huge graveyard was located in the park and zombies and other undead things would come out. The walls of the park kept them inside, so things were safe as long as people sticked to the rules. While I could see the exit, I didn't leave and instead ventured furter into the park, to one of those small forest-walking areas. It had gotten pretty dark and I could see strange moving humanlike creatures (aka zombies), carrying torches and stuff, rushing in my direction. I floated (I think I shortly changed into a light orb)/climbed into the nearest tree. Heh, I'm not that smart I guess. I ALWAYS do that to escape anything I need to escape in my dreams, and it ALWAYS turns out "they" too can climb or have something to get me down (like a saw in this particular dream). I escaped thanks to my amazing floating and running abilities. I walked around for a short time, alone (and not scared at all), when the zombies got back, this time on motorcycles. :o Anyway I managed to outrun them for a short while, and then got my own motorcycle (complete with a zombie hunter). The rest of the dream, I was outracing (still on a motorcycle) zombies (still on motorcycles), while my passenger was shooting fire arrows through their heads with a crossbow. Mind that this was still in the earlier described amusement park. It was a shame to get up. :(

Tonight I dreamt I was talking to someone; I'm pretty sure it was one of the members here, but I can't for the life of me figure out who. Hey Sasori no Akasuna who was the friend got goted
im asking as a friend of my self.

i had a wierd night mare when i hit my arm on the kitchen table and then it started bleeding so i put a band aid on it. then i went into my room for a while and my whole arm was in pain.i looked at where i cut myself and a bone was sticking out and i was freaking out which made the bone come out further. next thing i knew the bones in my whole left arm were on the floor an i didn't start to cry in pain and horror until i noticed.
I grabbed as many bones as i could and went to my mom and she was playing dumb with me. she asked why I was crying when clearly she was holding the reason in her hand :'( when i woke up that morning i did hit my arm on the table and i watched the cut for two days until it healed.

heres how you know if youve been playing zelda a little too much, and yes that is possible i didn't believe either until I had a nightmare that i was in OoT. I was in the water temple and I walked through a door and I was standing in ankle deep water. I was wereing Link's clothes and Navi was floating by my head. she told me to be careful. i walked up to that barred off door
then Navi yelled "LOOK!!" I turned and saw Dark Link standing by the tree so i walked up and he drew his sword and i drew mine. he disappeared and Navi yelled "DUCK" as a black sword flew over my head i turned to attack and hewas gone again :-X  Then Navi said "Watch out" and i jumped in time to land his sword as he went to stab me. I took a swing at his head and again he vanished before me. I hit the ground and he was standing in front of me. in the deepest version of my voice i had ever heard he said "time to silence this annoyance for good" and with that he swung a bottle and Navi was inside.he put the bottle down and stepped on it and the water around it was glowing white. i picked up my sword and stabbed him then swung my sword out of him then I cut him ihalf then turned around and swung my sword and beam killed him. then I went to fight Morpha and it killed me.
very wierd. I just had that dream last night.

This whole week (though thankfully today was the last day) I've had band camp which is like 8 hours of band practice a day. Marching for so long probably triggered this dream:
So that night I went to bed as usual, if not twice as exhausted as normal. All night I kept dreaming I was in band. We would be marching, like how we usually practice, and I would keep waking up every time the band director yelled at me in my dream (freshmen get picked on A LOT). I even had to do push ups as punishment for getting off step in my dream. I remember once waking up to the sound of my own voice counting the steps in our drill. I even woke up once with my hands up in the way I would hold my flute  ;) I didn't get much sleep at all  :'(......

When I still lived at my grandma's house, I hate nightmares much more often. I don't think her house is haunted, persay, but it's just really creepy. I feel like I'm being watched, especially in the kitchen (esp. the microwave area) and the staircase. I would always run really quickly up the stairs, I felt chased.

I would usually have nightmares because I was almost always alone in the huge house, and it was made incorrectly. /: Oh, and the water tasted/smelled almost like blood.

One dream involved throwing a child into a microwave and their skin melted off.

oh, now to scare everyone. No, not "AHHH! hide!" scare. Just slightly un-nerved scared.

My dreams are INSANE.

For example... I crash in a spaceship next to a castle near some woods. on a lone tree, something humanoid is being hung by the neck, under a white sheet. Suddenly it bursts into flames and the KKK-like cultists around it run into a path in the woods. Me, and a friend who's with me follow, into their "church" all the furniture is covered with a white sheet. We attend their ceremony of hate for a while then run to the other door to the right of the altar, and I shout "What was under that sheet?!", then wake up, for some reason terrified.

I had a dream involving tentacles... actually, more like a cat-sized spider that looked like a cat with a tail and pattern and all... It freaked me out, and we kept it as a pet...

I had another dream... This one about Nuclear war and eating lots of chinese food... This is how it is, at one part of the dream, I'm in an asia country, a big complex, eating with the leader of the country... He's about to start war on everything... We go through this banquet with lots of asian food but he notices that I don't speak his language, his other people try to speak with me, but none of them really can... When I do at last speak, he tries to get rid of me, but get saved by another group and this little base of his... a lot of air fighters come out and he starts a nuclear bomb off somewhere. Meanwhile, I get rushed off to an ambulance, rescued by my allies... But is it too late?

Another part of the dream also featured chinese food, and a LOT of it (even more)... I'm with one of my asian friends and we're eating at an asian restaraunt, thing is I have to get the food, move it, eat it just the right way... anyway, after eating a lot of this food, an air raid or something starts and the whole thing is like there was going to be another nuclear bomb... That's as much as I can describe really... There are other details,  but it's hard to get those  thoughts down in an organized manner.

What's weird is that last night, before I went to bed, I was talking to my friend about chinese food and the glories of General Tso and Indian/spicy food.

I refuse to let this topic die; it has such great possibilities.

I don't know, my dreams over the past week or so have been unpleasant, but I'm not quite sure why. /: I've been in this detached, almost depressed mood as of late, and my dreams have been... unusual, to say the least.

Since I have issues getting to sleep when it's silent (I talk to myself, or hear voices... I'm not sure which. I feel like I'm talking, but no noise comes out, yet I understand what I'm saying.) I listen to music when I sleep.

Lately, I've been having to blast it louder to help drown out my own thoughts. (I think too much)

The other night I had a dream. In it, a monster of faceless identity pinned me to the ground. I'm not quite sure what it looked like; it was a big blur, almost shadow-like.

It smiled at me with broken jaws and whispered to me:

"you are you are my sunshine
my only sunshine
you make me happy
(oh so happy)

when skies are grey
and grey and grey"

and I replied with:

"oh please
don't look at me with mother's eyes.
and that killer smile... mother wouldn't be happy
with your eyes
don't you know it kills me so?"

We looked at each other for a moment

and then it raised those large claws. before it hit, my head turned to the side... and then I saw the numbers "50:9" etched in bright, burning red on the shadow/wall next to me.

I woke up... and looked at my alarm clock. it was 6:02. If you flip 6:02 upside down... it reads "50:9."

No clue if 50:9 represents anything. /: 6 + 2 = 8, though, which is an age in which something really bad happened involving my parents and grey skies. I'm probably just overthinking things, though.

I have read somewhere that when an image gets through the lenses in the eyes and onto the retinas, the image is actually upside down compared to the preimage. However, your brain reflects it vertically for you; otherwise, everything you see would looked like it was upside down. You say you were looking to your side before you woke up? Maybe your eyes were picking up the light from the preimage and got an image into your eyes that your brain never flipped over because you were asleep and the sight-correction part of your brain was inactive due to sleep...?

Maybe I'm being too scientific... Your eyes were probably still closed, weren't they? ???

Possibly; the problem is, my bed is high above the ground. As for my eyes being closed or not, I'm not quite sure; sometimes I open my eyes when I sleep, but I'm not sure if they were that night.

Strange thing: The other night, I was sleeping and woke up. It wasn't thundering, but a big blue flash of light shone by my window. It was like lightning but much darker. I decided I don't sleep enough and went back to sleep. XD;

That's happened to me before. I once thought someone took a picture of me, and I've heard strange noises, too. It's probably just your brain doing random things as it's shutting down.
Title: Re:Dreams

Well, since I don't live in America... There's little chance of that happening. Myself, I usually have dreams with little to no narrative in them. That is, they usually involve flashing lights and objects (Often blurred and with no real shape) moving back and forth, in and out of vision. Sometimes I get voices or phrases that I've heard recently, but at random intervals. I don't often have the story based dreams most people talk about.

I ended up being almost mauled to death by sharks numerous times and saving an annoying young girl who liked to follow me as a swam endlessley.

Eventually I was at the swimming pool with the others and I kept pressing a button that made an extra bit of the pool appear, then fold back in.

I had an odd dream a few nights ago... we had this thing in our house called a "Junk Box," and other people in the neighborhood had them, too. Whenever they wanted to get rid of something, they'd put it in the Junk Box, and it would appear in other peoples' Junk Boxes for them to take if they wanted. My neighbor put his Virtual Boy in his Junk Box, and when it had appeared in ours, I immediately grabbed it. I set it up on the table and checked it out, and I noticed it also had a game in it. Then I took it to my room, and I noticed that I also had a Sega Saturn among my other game systems. Then I woke up.

I just had this weird dream that I found a fifth of jalopeno flavored vodka in my cupboard... oh, and it was also laced with methamphetamine. :o  Anyway, I think I tried just a sip of it because meth is bad.

My dream last night was fuzzy. It had a lot to do with cooking and fish/citrus. My friend and I left on the Food Network while we slept... and for some reason, a lot of shows last night involved either citrus or fish.

Hmm, but my leg has been hurting pretty badly, so in my dreams, it's been like... folding under me... or getting eaten or something weird like that.

Last night I was in a kitchen.

Ah, I remember some of what I dreamt the night before last... I was riding in a Bentley. It was so comfortable, like the back seat was just a couch. Well, in a Bentley, they are, pretty much... I think my cousin Ethan was there, too. That's all I can remember, though.

I was a rat. People were after me, and I dove into an air vent... but the "air vent" actually just led straight into the ocean. I couldn't come back up, or they would get me, so I sunk lower and lower. I couldn't come up for air, so I felt my body growing weaker, my vision fading, and since I was going really far down, my body started to compress. I thought I died.

I woke up on a fish's back, but I couldn't see. I couldn't speak. I do remember seeing a hand, though... it was weird...

there was another dream where I was petting my (deceased) cat, Clarence. He was purring and messing up my hair like he loved to, and I was petting him... but as I pet him, his fur was coming out, at first just a little, then more and more... then his skin started coming off, and he wasn't purring anymore... just looking at me with sad eyes. I stopped petting him, but he was already bleeding too much, and he died. I miss him so much, it's just not fair...

More vague dreams... shadows... light that burns, fish birds fly fly fly away butterfly wings... dont eat them, bad... water and sinking, dry drowning... skin and bones

:o I think that, for the sake of everyone, I should go to the police office right now, and tell them to put all my data in their database just in case.

Because last night, I had one of the most disturbing dreams I ever had. You know those dreams in which some incredible powerful creature/organisation etc., wants you dead and you just know you can't escape it? I had a dream like that last night. Only difference was, *I* was the badguy. I had a high position in some organisation owned by some guy (did not appear in my dream) who, for I don't know what reasons, collected human body parts. I was in charge of planning and organizing abductions and making sure no one escaped the "factory". And NOTHING in my dream shocked me, despite there being some pretty disturbing scenes.

The scenes I recall best are one about a man trying to run for his life, but being caught and violently beheaded. That scene actually did shock me a little, but it was more like a movie I was watching in my head than part of the dream in which I was in charge for such atrocities. Later, I was walking through the factory. I remember a huge machine filled with human heads, which was used to "clean" them (outside the dream, I figure soap probably wasn't going to work). Another one was sorting legs, and I remember a whole line of corpses hanging by their lower jars on hooks. I also remember someone was busy slicing one corpse apart and that I kept watching because I found it fascinating.

In one scene, a woman was trying to escape, and I ordered my employees to get her. One remarked something along the lines of "Don't worry. She's heading to the corridor guarded by *(random name)*. You know him. He'll bring her back in a few hours." I only said that heads would roll if he didn't and went back to work.

So now I'm a little worried about my own psyche.

... I still won't let this topic die. >_>

Anyway, I had the most ridiculous dream the other night. It started out... simply enough, I guess.

So, L (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L_Lawliet) and Douglas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Cartland) sent Sullivan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Sullivan) and I on a mission.

You see, we weren't people, though. Sullivan was a... dog of some sort, wearing a blue coat and a collar. He had the numbers "11121" carved in his forehead and on the collar, as well as a little tag that said "please return to room 302 if lost". And... I was a bird... thing. I think I was a white and black pigeon, but I'm not sure. I did have a slip of paper on my left foot, though.

So, anyway, we're heading off to this closed off cavern place. We walked about inside, and I finally noticed a closed off door-thing. It's surrounded by quartz, and it looks like the cave collapsed around it, so we had to sneak by and be really careful. Then we heard some voices, and saw these miner... things. We ran out as quickly as we could. There's a beautiful lake and waterfall on this side, with rows of this pink-granite like stuff. Then I realise that I have hands. Then I realise I'm still sitting on Sullivan. Turns out we're human again. :D

So I jumped off him, and then I heard the miners again, and we both got seperated. Walter went out to do whatever deceased serial killers do, and I ran forward, hit the water, swam across, and climbed up a cliff.

Not the smartest thing to do when people are after you, but... they gave up searching and went back, and I sighed, relieved.

"Not so fast." I look up, and Inspector Gadget is above me.
"What are you doing?"
"I plan on making this my amusement park!"
"YOU ***..." <-- don't ask why I was so upset XD
"What, are you going to stop me?"
"That's my job."
"Try harder next time."

So, he Sparta-kicked me off the cliff, and this time I accidentally ruined one of the walls of granite (which was surprisingly chalky) and water rushed in. Gadget laughed insanely, and I went back in time SOMEHOW... and then I didn't break it. This time Gadget did.

Back on top of the cliff, I grabbed Walter and dragged him out of the water (he was a dog this time) and then we both jumped on a floating/flying mechanical mannequin head and took chase of him. The thing is, the would float back and forth along single routes, and we kept jumping from head to head. Eventually, we caught up with Gadget on... my house.. and water was still rushing around us. Walter growled and jumped on top of him, and it was a big fight. I was just a seagull, so I couldn't do anything except try and get help.

So I flew, flew like the wind! And... I found Douglas and L on a cruise ship out in the ocean. At this point, I turned into a frog. Some birds tried to eat me (I was on Douglas's hat) and I kept crying out "No, please, don't eat me!" It was when Douglas said "Hey, a talking frog..." that he helped me. He gave me a retractable box-cutter, and I turned back into a bird (osprey ftw!) and flew off to help Walter.

Gadget had human!Walter pinned to the ground, and the two were just staring at each other menacingly. I swiped the boxcutter at him, and eventually I killed him.
Having defeated the evil Gadget and saved the closed-down cavern from.. having... publicity, Walter Sullivan and I got our medals.

We also went to a Christmas party, where I met Ai (http://zack-fair.deviantart.com/) (in costume as herself), Mez (http://mezcase.deviantart.com/) (in costume as Cloud Strife (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_Strife)), Sessha (http://sessha.deviantart.com/) (in costume as Heather Mason (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Mason)), and Majenta (http://satanelherbivore.deviantart.com) (in costume as herself as a zombie). I was... in my Robbie Rabbit (http://youtube.com/watch?v=wdaSeHaWHrs) costume and Walter added dog ears and a dog tail. We got in a conga line, danced a little bit, and somehow wedged Mez in a garage door, hospitalizing her. To make Ai feel better, we went fishing.
I caught Gyorg.

And... that's the end.

hmm...

*tries to remember earlier dreams*

OOH... food. Yay...

I cannot believe how many times I've had a dream about food and a cafeteria. last night, I was particular obsessed with mexican food. Sometimes it's weird, cause I'm in a line with several other people... SOme seem to be err... 'disabled' and others are past classmates that I've known.

Ahh, but I remember another dream earlier this morning. It was based around what seemed to be a very weird Zelda game, except it had other details reminiscent of super mario RPG. And The Godfather (Film)

It started off with me in a mall-like environment, walking down some stairs, then going around for a bit (there weren't any stores... it reminded me more of the college dining hall) and seeing some kids playing around with little balloons and things. I found some candy, had some and things started to get quite weird. Because now things turned in a way that I'd descend to a lower level (somewhat like in a FPS) and I'd have to solve a little puzzle in order for the gate to open... after the gate, there were some tracks and some italians coming down the tracks in a little car... and some cops were sneaking off to the side. The italians noticed the cops, and sent them away, while I managed to get on the car somehow and talk to the mob boss for a bit.

We turn out somewhere, it's no longer underground, but now it's a street intersection, somewhat busy and we go about for a bit. This is when the mob boss gets me sent to a weird but interesting building and it's almost like I'm held prisoner, but I'm just wandering through the halls. I notice that each floor is the same... and went about and around... then I went through a door and suddenly I was in a place with no people... sort of like Kokiri Forest but it had an invisible obstacle course thing.

Anyway I go about this and I seem to warp around a few weird areas, like a ship, a rival college with a stadium and cheerleaders... and on the helicopter with the mob boss. I saw that he was building even more of that structure I was in...

Anyway, there was a portal that seemed like a save/exit point and I was in the biulding again, but now I was in a playroom, but I could still see the portal/round/carosoul thing. And I went about and played with little things with a couple others... they wore darker clothes but were the same ages as I, I go up and play with the girl for a bit...

and then I woke up

A while ago i had one that took place in a mansion.  In the dream i said it was my house... anyway.  I'm in my bed, I wake up, hearing someone in the house.  ::) When I hear a pot crash I get out and decide to investigate.  (I don't know why i didn't get my dad but what the heck)  When I come out into a big room with knee high flowers on the floor.  :-\ In the dark I find a guy dressed in black, trying to get in a safe.  :-[  I try to yell out dad, and stop but nothing comes out.  :o He turns around and points his machine gun at my chest.  :-X The more I try to yell the closer he comes.  So I run, somehow I'm now on the second floor balcony facing the room I was just in.  8) He appears behind me and says "Your going to die right now!"  I'm mute right now so...  Right after that I jump off the balcony (matrix) I do a slow-mo roll on the flower covered floor.  The guy shoots all over the place, meanwhile i'm army crawling on the floor heading back to my room.  Thats when I woke up, and couldn't sleep the rest of the night. :-*

anyways

I had this dream last night after the basketball game, about this girl, I still like a lot but sadly does not like me back, after the game, she asked me out because I happened to play really well(just for stats I had 2 steals and one assist all within two minutes. XD). Anyways, I really like her a lot and I keep on dreaming about her almost weekly, sometimes dayly. She's always there for me though, so I guess that counts for something right? But yeah, I hate that dream because I wake up relize its fake. Not real :(

I once had a dream that I was giving a friend of mine 2 snakes for her birthday.  When I got there the snakes broke loose of their cage.  Everyone went around screaming, because they ended up being poisonous.(sp?)
I found myself running back to my house.  Then I woke up to go to school. ???

I have nightmares, but they don't scare me. (Then why are they called nightmares?) I have no idea. They're not like monster kind of things, more like things in real life that stress me out. Like a few nights ago, I had a dream about that kid who likes me. And he came into my room (which would represent my private life). I tried to block him out by listening to my iPod, but it shut off (it always does that. I seriously need a new one).

Fact: The word 'nightmare' comes from a myth that a devil-like creature would come and sit on your chest while you slept and give you bad dreams.

I remember I used to have really bad nightmares when I was a toddler, then my oldest sister made me a dream catcher, and they went away. They really did! It's weird.

Long dream earlier this morning (went to bed at like five am)

First dream was extremely weird. I was playing a really old/primitive video game of what seemed like Dungeons and Dragons or some other RPG... I had a character, and it started off in a castle with an evil queen. I go up to the evil queen, she fights and defeats me. Then things shift to another perspective and I'm in the game, from a first person point of view, and I'm running up a staircase, fighting monsters that are floating (it's a very wide area... not closed off)  and I had to jump over gaps in the stairs. Quite a few strange monsters that follow me along the side as I run. I get to the top but things turn out into a mall and it's like I'm at a convention for nerds. I go through what seemed to be the castle/crazy stairway, but it's still in the mall. I keep going, following a guy through the mall, going up and down a LOT of stairs and paths... Then it turned into a dream where I was discussing something with my brother... something about Calculus and demonstrating a certain equation with a ball. Now I'm in a part of town that's elevated, there's traffic and we decide to go eat... I go along the bus and I try to meet/pick up some ladies... to no avail... and that's about where the dream ends.

Another dream, It started off in a hotel, quite a fancy hotel. I spend some time in a room and prepare to go to sleep, trying to turn off all the lights of the room. I turn off all the   lights, however one lamp is still on, I unplug said lamp but it still doesn't turn off... So I call room service to help out (I was worried that it might be overheating, catch fire). Then I go off to the bathroom to get washed up, Bathtub was a little like a Jacuzzi with the jets. I spend some time out and about there... Then I find myself with a cat, and playing around with the cat in my room. It felt more than a little surreal, just the overall mood of the place. I go out after playing with the cat, cat disappears, and I end up being moved up to another room where about the same thing happens (play with cat, etc...) Someone comes knocking at the door, at first I hardly notice it. Upon opening the door, I found someone whom I hadn't met... and we decided to go out. I thought that I was in a rural area, but when I got out, it was a big city. I follow this guy for a bit tthrough the streets, see big fire trucks and firefighters/public service around... a minor insignificant detail about an accident and an explosion across the river.

After following this new friend for a bit more (getting lost for a bit...  I've never been in a city before, so everything felt really weird...) and we enter a mall. This particular mall is huge, going on for what seems to be miles... I try to find the guy that I met, but eventually lose him, so I go around the mall for a bit... It seemed more active, people actually talking and doing stuff and I noticed all this going on. I try to ask a few people if they can help find my friend... But I remember that he showed me his address somewhere... Apartment No. 9, Room 2146. And I go out to the ninth block of the mall and go walk out the door... I look around and there are various postal boxes everywhere... on various levels, lockers... stairs...

But I find this guy's house eventually, turns out he has nine brothers... Then a part comes where It's like I'm playing Zelda... Reminded me of Deku Palace of Majora's Mask... I have to find a certain plant, and go off and get it to someone and have them send me off via use of a small cannon... It seems like I'm right outside of the apartment, but at the same time in another world entirely... Eventually I go back to the apartment and the guy shows me what's going on... Especially with his father. The apartment had an upper and lower level, a ladder connecting the two. The lower level seemed like the other world of Zelda... While the upper seemed normal and part of the mall... I get sent out and off to another apartment where things seem exactly the same... But it's different and I meet a guy with three kids, but he can't know that I'm there... I hang out with one of the kids and it seemed for a little bit that I seemed to be a part of that family, going through chores... eating chinese food... And there was a weird arcade in there somewhere with bare walls.

I'm about to be kicked out but I give each of the kids a little something, at first it's a hairlock... but then I give each of them a few lines of writing... I go outside and down because I've been kicked out... and go into a building that seemed a rest center/computer place... with multiple floors, but messed up stairs. The bathroom at the bottom level had a lot of drunk college guys... And I go off to the computer and try to write something...

After that segment, I change gears into another dream and this time I'm with a little girl but her parents can't know about me, so we go off and have some other friends and throw a ball around, we're in a suburban neighborhood. Then we go into a weird 'state' that came from the girl's mind and we're in a dwelling with bright rooms and colored walls/windows/force fields. Each room seemed to represent a different season, the last room white with winter... There's only a chair or two in this last room and a large window sliding-door. The girl goes about the room, and before I know it, I'm hunting little ferrets of some sort... seemed like a game... lots of colored walls/force fields... and when the game's done, the girl disappears and the dream ends there.

Heh... Exceptional vivid detail is a thing that I try to go with in describing my dreams. The dreams wouldn't be really be 'there' without all these details.

There's another dream I had a while back...

But this one relating to an adult female/cyborg and a building with strange elevators...

At the beginning of said dream (it seemed more like a series of dreams) there's some really funky movement and It's like I'm chasing witches, along the streets, there's a big house up on the left on an elevated area... and I'm chasing these people with some really funky gymnastics on all sides. Then we go into a building.

the girl's trying to evade the police and she somehow multplies... and we're in the bottom of the building, then we go up along a really open/wide elevator shaft and she uses some weird gymnastics to go up and around.

In yet another part of the series of dreams, that cyborg lady is trying to set herself and a few others free, but we're in an area of extremely weird architecture with stairs everywhere and narrow slits between 'open-air' buildings... And there's a sort of dungeon like area but it seemed more puzzle/maze based. And she navigates it, from part to part until we're out again and in a wasteland...

Yeah, I remember too many of my dreams.

I had this wierd dream where I was a safety on the football team. I tried to tackle a guy and ended up grabbing his leg as I fell. I stood up and he was hopping on one leg trying to pull his other one out, so I jumped into the air, curled up into a ball, and dropped straight down. He fell down. Yay me. I'm pretty sure it's a placebo effect, I have two in my room, and I still have nightmares.

I had a weird one last night in which my family and I went to a ghost town for vacation. It looked an awful lot like San Antonio, at least some parts did. I remember walking around an exact replica of South Park Mall. It was dreary looking, a lot of lights were down and stuff.

I walked up the escalator (it didn't work) and looked around the upstairs, only to find a few homeless people. They were part of a cult, I guess, or something, but they immediately disliked me. I ran down the escalator, and they chased me down.

It eventually came to a dead end in an alley, and for some reason or another, none of us noticed the corpse/monster in between us until one of the crazy people decided to try and kill me, and the monster ate him. After some weird other stuff happened, I ended up riding the monster back to our truck and drove off. ... I'm not sure where my family was during this whole time, though.

I also had another dream where I walked with a couple other people to this... school/hospital place. Nothing happened at all.

I also had a dream where I was forced to take 13 showers in a row or else I'd be killed. There were challenges in each shower. One shower didn't have a curtain. Another had cancerous conditioner. I had to mix blood from one of the faucets with said conditioner in a rusty old bathtub to make a key to unlock another shower. A bloody nurse attacked me, and I beat it to death with a back-scrubber and soap.

Then Pyramid Head busted through my glass hallway and cornered me into a bathroom with my sister, where a dog jumped out of a hole in the wall and ate him.

... It wasn't scary at all, so much as when I woke up, I just sat there for a while. I... still have no idea what the hell happened. o_o

I love necro-posting in this topic.

Anyway, I remember having a dream that this old run-down double wide trailer was full of cats and their... leavings. No one was taking care of them and they just kept practicing their multiplication tables...

there were dead cats everywhere, but there were a few living and horribly diseased/disfigured due to inbreeding cats there. One of them had infected feet and their pawpads were just giant abscesses and scabs, pretty much. it looked painful to walk on. At some places, you could see bones on it's feet. I felt sad for it. >:

--

And another dream, except I don't remember much at all. It had two corpses (I assume), both male, bound together at the chest and with amputated arms. They were very clearly dead, but if I walked by them, they'd smile wider (the face was partially dissolved, but that didn't stop them from smiling anyway) and face me with their empty eye sockets.

--

A lot of dreams recently have replace fish with dogs. Dead dogs, phantom/ghost puppies, and dog attacks... You see, I'm actually afraid of dogs, particularly large breeds like rottweilers and pit bulls. (Big as in muscular.) I'm not terribly afraid of them if they're nice, but if they bark a lot and obviously dislike me, well...

Anyway, this fear was realised again when my dog, Karma (Pit Bull/German Shepherd), attacked a fat little Jack Russell Terrier for no reason. It happened on... Christmas Eve, I think. The JRT was ripped wide open... she'll have scars along her back for the rest of her life, and the wound went from one thigh to another right along her bum. She's afraid of me because I was the one walking Karma...

I have a recurring nightmare, it goes something like this:

A re-dead like creature appears outside my window when I wake up.  I scream to my mom, but she says that nothing is at the window.  I see it again walking to school, outside the windows of my classrooms, etc.  I try to tell people about it but no one is able to see it.  In fact, they all think I am crazy.  Once I return home, my mom takes me to a crazy farm without a roof while it is raining.  She explains to the doctor guy what is wrong with me, and I see the thing again.  I scream.  I am assigned a room where the thing patiently waits next to my bed as I fall asleep.

I wake up early in the morning tied to a tombstone, and the thing approaches me with a knife.  It cuts the ropes and then bear hugs me.  The re-dead thing then jumps into a giant ditch (never-ending, by the looks of it), and then I wake up.

It wasn't a very long dream, but I dreamed that I was playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl last night. It was, in a word, incredible. First, I played as Sonic. I don't remember what character I was beating up in the game, but I remember thinking "This is awesome!" while I was doing so. Then I went back to this list of characters, and there was someone very unexpected there: Laura Lewis, the star of "Enemy Zero. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enemy_Zero)" Being a big fan of "Enemy Zero," I naturally selected her. The only attack I remember her having was her gun, though, and she had dark hair for some unknown reason...

I woke up then. I wanted to see what other attacks Laura had, too! Dang.

I think I remember having a dream related to that once. My mom and I were searching through a store for it, and the store was literally a giant maze! Very grotesque construction! It took us, like...eh, I don't really know dream time that well, but it took longer than it would've in real life to find it.

It really did take a while, but we finally found it with a bunch of other games. The case's "cover" (or whatever you call the artwork on the cases >> ) was holographic and silvery--totally different from the official cover. When I finally had it...MAN, it was great!

Then I woke up. I didn't even get to play it. XD

Last night, I dreamed yet again about playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Actually, I think I was playing online with someone... if memory serves, I believe it was MagmarFire. I was playing as Sonic (again) and I was totally winning. Then I did the Final Smash, which consisted of Sonic performing a very rapid series of punches. I won the match.

I must have some sort of strange subconscious desire to play as Sonic...

I had a Halloween dream once... the movie with psycho Michael Meyers, not the day. You know how near the beginning he stabbed his (I think it was older sister?) to death when he was a little kid? Well I was dragging myself on the floor covered in my blood and all stabbed and slashed... it was kind of scary... It was also one of those HA2 dreams I've been having lately, and Sovelis was the one stabbing me  :o

This was a strange dream.

Last night, I dreamt that me, Zelda Veteran, his friend (either David or Barry...), and my brother went to this test to find out who will be in the SSBB tournament. You had an amount of time, and if you filled them all out (answers right or not) you got to be in the tournament, but if you didn't finish you couldn't be in the tournament. I didn't finish all mine, and ZV patted me on the back.

Then we all wandered around at night around the parking lot.

It was strange!!

I had an interesting/strangely real dream... I dreamt I was at my old elementary school, which is within walking distance of my house. I was at the bus stop, where the buses park to pick up/drop off the kids at school, and it was just after sunset, when it's still light, but getting dark quickly. The sky was a very deep orange and looked very pretty. The strangest part was that Whocares, HNS, and MagmarFire were all there, too. We were just hanging out, like we'd known each other for years. I, for some reason, had brought along a broken game system of an unknown model (it was like a combination of a Dreamcast, Saturn, and Playstation) and we were all tinkering with it and talking to each other. I offered to go home to get something and said it would only take me twenty minutes to run home, find whatever it was (I don't remember what it was), and come back, but I looked at the sky and saw it was getting dark.

That's where my dream ended. It was cool while it lasted, though.

I dreamt I was playing Animal Crossing: Wild World, and when I came out of my house at the startup, everything was black&white with sepia!! It said, "Your town has been bombed!! How sad...Try and rebuild it!!" and there was wood everywhere on the ground. I think it must have rained, because everything was smooshy. You could swim to get all the debris out!! Oh yeah, my time song was "Sadness and Sorrow"  :D

My dream was freaky too. It involved some great witch from beyond that happened to look like that evil lady from 101 Dalmations. She could switch bodies and control others like puppets. Then she moved to a little kitten's body and I had make the cat unconscious so she could stop controlling everything. I was in a basement of a hotel and there were freaky zombies as the hotel staff. I tried to find ONE living person and moved up to the second floor to find a lot of students in a dining hall.

Oh, and it featured a movie with Doc Brown and a time machine, He exploded.

Hooray for puppets in dreams!

I think this is a recurring dream, but I can't be certain... I'm going to my classes fairly early in the morning, then a lot of people swarm around me and know who I am and try to get me to say hello to them. I fall around a few times (too many people)... Then I end up being on the opposite end of campus and near a hospital, I try to go back to the main part of campus, then it starts raining. I try to climb some stairs to find my way about... and somehow get back to the main campus. There's a cafe like place along the side, and I stumble along and go into the cafe and have a seizure... There are some elements that seem familiar, Like the walking to class bit, and the statues, scattered about...

Heh, that hospital place, I've had recurring dreams in and around the place. It's the neuroscience hospital of UNC chapel hill (I've had to stay in a psych ward twice there).  some of the dreams are fun nightscapes where I get to have fun with people. Other dreams are creepy where the hospital is devoid of life.

I wonder if anyone here would  be surprised if I was diagnosed with psychosis?

I had an interesting dream last night. It was actually two, but...

In the first dream, the San Antonio Zoo was going bankrupt and letting people adopt the animals. I got the Eurasian Eagle Owl. But this one woman got the nine-banded armadillo, which I though was really cute. I asked to take it for a walk, and she let me have him.

I went to the beach, and the armadillo went swimming. Unfortunately, the water dragon from Okami was still insane and tried to eat him. So I grabbed a piece of styrofoam and pulled the armadillo onto it. Then we started surfing, killed the dragon, and had trail mix named after us.

--

In the other dream, a man imprisoned me and about eight other people in a giant white area. There was a game thing that you had to lay on, and a giant community bathroom.

A prophet among us said one person has already died. It was a young girl in the women's bathroom. Apparently some toilets were rigged with spikes that would impale you if you sat down. The toilet was wretched to the sides, and it was really nasty looking.

The man who imprisoned us made us work on various challenges, and the weakest of us would die. One was a video game challenge, in which a little boy was immolated. The second was a ceramics/painting thing. We had to glaze pots and pictures, but if we got the wrong colour on the wrong part, we would be killed.

It ended as I was putting spots on the wings of some grotesque monster-thing. ... My mom put my cat Fluffy in my room. She meowed and woke me up.

I pretty cool dream last night. I was Edward Elric. I was wearing a red cloak, I had an automail arm and leg, and blond hair. I was in a very dark room with a dirt floor. Something (or someone) had just knocked me backwards, so I was standing back up. Al was standing next to me, and his armor body looked gigantic to me. I looked up at him, he said something, I said something back, and he said something else... then I woke up. It was cool while it lasted, though.

I had a dream about a good friend of mine. Analyze, plz? ;)

Here's the e-mail I sent her this morning about it:

QuoteYes, that's right. After sending you an e-mail yesterday, something worth mentioning (well, to me, anyways!) happens that I wanted to tell you! Strange how life works this way, isn't it? XD

But anyway, the subject tells it all. From what I remember (I forgot the main "plot" of it, as I do with a lot of dreams, unfortunately), it goes like this: You, other people whom I don't really remember (I'll just call them party members, being an RPG lover and all :P ), and I were, like, going through this old mansion or the ruins of a building for some reason. Some booby trap must've been activated or something, but I think the ceiling of the room we were in started collapsing on top of us. We rushed to a nearby staircase, which also had a collapsing ceiling, and tried to get to the next higher floor before we were crushed. I think the stairs might've either inclined a bit or were somewhat destroyed because of falling debris, but either way, you and one of our party members were on the floor, face down, lagging badly behind.

From what I remember, you--and I think the other nameless party member--were unconscious, and the staircase was about to give way. There would be no way for you guys to save yourselves, so I went all Indiana Jones on the situation: I grabbed Nameless first (he was closer to me; please don't kill me T_T ), got him to safety, got a hold of you, and rushed to the top of the staircase in the nick of time.

To get out more quickly, I think I might've dived to the ground. After that, though, you were still unconscious, so I stayed with you on the floor, waiting for you to wake up. You did after awhile, and I think we continued our journey through the mansion a little more before I...somehow arrived at my dad's house for some reason. I might've woken up after the mansion, but I recall a second portion a little afterward.

So far, that's not the weird thing. From what I see, we can all feel powerful feelings in our dreams, and in pinches like the collapsing ceiling, our feelings can make dreams like those seem real. I am no exception, whether I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or not. When I was waiting for you to wake up...my heart started pounding. Really hard. To put it simply, it was like I ate a bongo and it was beating itself inside me. It was one of those feelings that I could actually feel while sleeping, so for me to actually note it after waking up, it had to have been a significant part of my dream. And it was: I feel that I was...

...falling for you...

In the second portion, you seemed to have noticed my feelings. Truth be told, my heart was vibrating my body pretty badly. I wouldn't be surprised if THAT was what caused you to wake up. XD But anywho, I believe you sent me an e-mail, and for some reason, I was viewing it on the TV... Eh, I could've been using my Wii... But whatever. You did seem to notice, and you were like, "OMZVG. Are you, like, in love with me!?" That's more of an abridged quote because I can't remember the entire thing. (But apparently, I could still remember most of that abbreviation. Go figure. XD )

I suppose after that is when I woke up. As far as I'm concerned, it is because I put any more of the dream into the category of "Not Worth Mentioning." The experience left me...quite awake, actually. Usually, these days I wake up around late morning, like ten or eleven o'clock; this dream woke me up at around 8:30. O_O Quite frankly, I wasn't particularly...overjoyed by the fact that I did wake up from it. I rather...enjoyed the experience. I could still feel my heart beating pretty hard, I believe, but by the time I've typed this, it's calmed down to around its regular speed. However, I still feel quite awake. I would've tried going back to sleep after the second portion of my dream, but I didn't want to lose every bit of memory of it because it did feel significant. I felt that I needed to tell somebody. Thus, I went out of bed, went over to the computer, brought it out of Standby Mode, waited to connect to the Internet, and composed this e-mail. It's been the first thing I've done today.

But anyway... Yeah, I'm sorry if this...creeped you out a bit. Whatever the case, though, I just really wanted to tell you, and I have no desire to jeopardize our friendship. So, to summarize it, I had a dream about you! ^^;

Hope to hear back a...painless...response from you. ;)

Wow dude. I know how that feels... feeling like you might be falling in love with someone you probably shouldn't fall in love with. In any case, its a good thing you told her. I think this would be appropriate here:

I had a dream a few nights ago, and I was at a Halloween/birthday party. Me, (one of my best friends that I think I might be falling for), Dave, and A few other people (including[forgive the nerdiness] a few Naruto characters, including Chouji and Neji), were celebrating somebody's birthday. My friend at one point just leaned over and kissed me. I stared at her for a moment in the dream, and she stared back... and then I awoke. I left out a lot of detail about the dream, but thats the important part. I called her that night and told her, and we started talking about how it wouldn't be so crazy to go out with each other. But then, well, ... *ahem*

PM me if you want to know what happened the following night that justified the situation.

>.>

Its nothing that bad, but it doesn't belong in this topic, and I don't feel like making a new one. ;)

My dream last night was really crazy. I was in a room with neon blue lights, the long horizontal kind. I think it was a Bathroom because it had a sink with a mirror above it. I put my hand on the sink and looked in the mirror.

Oni-Link stared back.

I smiled and he smiled.

I think I realized I was Oni-Link at that point, although I think I knew it all along, as I wasn't surprised in least. All I remember from there is a feeling of indescribable Joy and Power. Then I woke up to find myself overjoyed with a giant smile on my face. In a split second, when I realized the dream was over, I was really sad. :( One of the weird things (as if this weren't weird enough already) was that the Oni-.....umm....Me didn't have any markings on his face. I think there's a really good part about the dream I can't remember as well because whenever I try to remember the dream, a feeling of excitement wells up inside of me. ;)

But you guys have dreams like this all the time, right? ::)

So, has anyone ever had dreams where they were in a movie, interacting with all the characters? I remember one. I was in Rosemary's Baby. I was one of the freaky neighbors.

The rest of the dream was in like a really weird factory... part of it was in like a school and an auditorium, then there was a part where I was in a hotel room with sexy ladies. Then I walked outside and... whoa... I was in that fantasy land.

My dream last night was weirder. First I was playing a mario game with another player. It was a hardcore mario game and you had to play two players to work together. Then it sort of evolved into a strategy RPG... Then I was with a group of people and a shaman came up and it was all about... putting the dead to rest/keeping dead people's souls as some kind of guardian. Then it went to pokemon... Then It was like I was in the new Star Trek movie and we went down to a planet and visited cactus people. We went down with them and they started this weird dance... then while we were doing the dance of colors, I began to see patterns form and spin out through my whole vision, triangles, pyramids, flashing lights...

That was one hell of a dream.

What exactly are you implying Whocares?

I had a dream about trying to kill zombies with scissors...and failing.  Then I had a dream where I think I was in a college setting, except the dorm were tents; I dunno, it could have just been some kind of event, and I was attending it with some of my buddies from college.  Anywho, at some point during that dream, I mentioned my dream about the zombies.  Then I remember checking my e-mail to see that I had received a PM from Mags (hmmm, a hint for MagmarFire to reply to me?) and then there was something about viewing a screen from Riviera, this one GBA game I'm playing, or a game similar to Riviera.

I know that it's a possibility, I'm just not sure how much of one...I dunno. I had that dream again last night though, it's kind of unsettling. I'm not too worried about it, but it's still there, kind of nagging.

What dream?

Basically people who are or were close to me, the decisions they've made, and the consequences of those decisions in the future.

Yesterday i dreamnt of the Angel of Death; at the very least I am sure it was something very close to it.
It had eight arms in total, each holding a different artifact, daggers, a book. a staff, a shield, a sword and a ribbon thing.
But then a ninth arm popped and it was holding a scythe, and I hear chorus (a very macabre one) singing).
Then I wake up.
It has been months since I had a nightmare, dammit!

I actually had a dream last night that everyone from the desert was at my house. (First dream I've had in a while...) Some weird things happened.

Darth Wyndisis was watching football, until Tacheon knocked the TV out the window.
Mags fell down the stairs.
Shika had a bone to pick with my dog.
JQ pickwick threw an apple at my face.
Zelda Vet was just a ghost floating around.
TP Zelda and my little brother were jumpin and runnin around everywhere.
TwilightWolf, Hi no Seijin, and earthboundhero92 were just sitting and talking to each other the whole time.
Gamefreak's face was on all the ceilings, just watching over everything
Chuckinator got into my nun-chucks

It was so awesome, but I don't really remember other parts from it.
(By the way, I'm not trying to be mean to anyone, or say that they're mean whatsoever. I still love you.)

I had a dream last night.

Really weird, me and my girlfriend were the last people on earth and we were running from this crow/buzzard thing and it chased us onto a mountain and we jumped off and started flying and I suddenly had a giant duffelbag, we landed on top a volcano that had a Sarlacc in it and it had a kids voice.

The crow asked to be it's friend and the sarlacc asked why and the crow said, "Because when you eat things you sometimes leave scraps that I eat." nad the sarlacc said okay.

So the chase continued and we ran more and came back, the sarlacc said that if it ate us it wouldn't chew and we would be fine if we didn't move and that we wouldn't fit out his other end. :P

I hooked the duffel bag to it's claws that were above ground and pulled out a crushed can, by now the crow thing was almost to us and I put it on my shoulder and it turned into a giant gun thing and I shot the crow with my Lazur.

Then the Sarlacc was all, "Why did you kill my friend?" and I shot it too, and then the dream ended.

Last time I fall asleep listening to Mute City... 8)

Lmao, Naruto dream :3

The last dream I remember having was that it was me,my mom and my dad in our car. We were driving past my school when my dad said "oh, *beep* idiots". Me and my mom didn't know what he was going on about until we looked to the left, where my school is. By the tree by the little car park in front of the school building, there was a person lying there on the round and a rope tied to the tree. There was a red light coming from the building that made the person's body and th rope visible in the darkness. I screamed at the sight, and every time I looked at it, I couldn't help but cry.

I have no idea how the person's body got released from the rope, but I'm guessing that person hung themselves.

But the other part I remember was a person I know very well wanting my company again. That got my hopes up, and I was devastated when I realised it wasn't real

MOD EDIT: I'll fixy fixy, and...whamm-o. Censored.

I hate those sorts of dreams!
I sometimes dream really close to real life, where everything is normal but a bit better, and it's weird because in the dream itself I wake up from a dream and it's still all great so I end up getting all confused when I eventually wake up properly. I've once spent like 10 minutes lying there figuring out what was real and what I'd dreamt. I was gutted when I realised all these wonderful things hadn't really happened.

I just had a really screwed up dream.  These two guys were having a gun fight and one guy got blasted apart by a shotgun.  I mean really blasted apart, like body parts flying everywhere until there was almost nothing left.  Then there was this other part where there were hundreds of people standing on a mountain by the edge of a cliff, just kind of hanging out, and all of a sudden they started killing each other.  Once about half of them were dead, the rest jumped off the cliff.  That has to be the most violent dream I've had in a long time.
Title: Re: Dreams

That kinda reminded me of this one dream I had  :P

Leik, there were these guys (about....3 of them, I think? At the end it was like, 5) and they all wanted to kill me, and one of them threw a butter knife (yes, a butter knife) at me and I dodged and ran downstairs. Then I waited for him to come down with my own, butterknife, and he threw another, butter knife, at me and I dodged and threw mine at him. Then when he came down I tried to kick him in dat one place...but I failed cuz my legs are always really slowed down in my dreams. So anyway, after that, I came back downstairs because I had just killed the other ones. And it ended there and then I dreamed that I was walking into a school-library with this girl, and I noticed some girls were reading a Zelda book (I think it was like, what the songs mean or somehting lol) and I asked one of them if that when they're done if I can read it, and she was all leik "...No." and I was all like "Oh, sorry. Did it like, just come out or somehting?" and she said "Yeah" and it ended there.  ::)

EDIT: Oh, and I read you can die from your dreams.

This really stupid site I go to

But someone said something like, the reason you wake up right before you die in dreams is because if you don't wake up when you're about to die your mind/body gets confused and thinks it's real.
I'mna see if I can find teh post.
EDIT: Ok now I'm starting to wonder if I imagined it?

Well, if it's a stupid site, then you can discredit that "fact" right there.

Stupid sites aside, the logic doesn't make any sense.  If your brain is smart enough to realize it's dreaming and wake you up before you die in your dream, then it should be smart enough to wake up even if you die in your dream.

There are disorders where it is possible to die in your sleep, but I highly doubt any of them are caused by dreaming.  As far as I know and am concerned, dying from a dream is the work of fiction.

What about people who die of heart attacks during their sleep?
Is it possible that they had a dream so shocking that it killed them?
There is no way to know, of course, because we can not ask them...

Actually, if the person happened to be hook up to one of those machines that record brain patterns during sleep (gah, I can't remember what they're called; I want to say EKG or something like that, but I'm not sure), it might be possible to catch this extremely shocking dream, but I would think the person would have to have a weak heart to begin with.

The other day I had dream in which I was in an endless forest covered in dried leaves (it was autumn, not a single patch of soil was visible). I jumped really high, perhaps 15ft, and as I was about to fall, I focused and started to rise again. It went on like like this for what felt like an hour, it was like flying, only a bit scary because I always had the risk of crashing in to the ground.

You know, that kind of reminds me of Half Life...

Anyway so there was this monster-dude who wanted to kill TP for some reason or another, and we were in the middle of the desert at midnight (with "we" I mean people in the forum, which must be the first dream you have appeared in). So this mister transforms into a quadripedal creature made out of green crystal. And we start fighting him, but he is overpowering us, so I take out the omnitrix(yes, you read right) and transform into some midget version of cromastone, and while you are all shooting at him I say "shoot through me", so you do and I happen to be able to look at his health bar (I know, 'WTF' right?) and reduce it to zero.
Then the monster dude tranform back to mister and says to TP while smiling "You... have your mother's cells", TP just answers "lol XD" (I have no idea how she 'said' that) and the mister dies. And then I wake up to find out that my sister and my cousin are playing GH on my Wii.

Okai so I had THE craziest dream last night XDDD

Ok, so, I was in the garage, and I found out that if you dress up like L (Makeup and everything) then people would NOT see you, and you could scare people at the right time. So, I got into position, and one of my aunts came along with this cake (...o.O???) and, as stupid as I am and forgetting she had a cake, I said "BOO" and she literally THREW IT STRAIGHT UP XDDDD

Then after that, I guess Team Rocket wanted to get into my room or something, 'cause I was running to my room and they ran after me (they had a Haunter, btw) and the whole time they were running after me they were saying "WE GOTTA GET IN!" Then I felt really tired so I laid (got no idea if that's right) down on my bed and my T.V. turned on, and I turned it off. Then Haunter popped up and I was all like "BOO!" and he didn't move so I was all like "...I'm not scared of you? o.O"
Then I guess I was going back to my room but Team Rocket had gotten there first, and then Ash appeared outta no where and was all like "Charizard, Flame Thrower!!!" and then I was all like "I better send out Squirtle in case this gets too out of hand!!" and then Ash was all like "Well at least water's not filling up the whole place..." and then I had an image in my head of it filling up with water XDDD

Lol ok so I had teh craaaaaaaaaziest dream last night...

I don't remember teh beginning very well but whatever. Lol so ok, I was using the computer and there was this reeeeeaaaaaally pretty sunset over to the left of where the sun usually sets, like south. And I got my camera (it was either my new one or old one lol Idr) and right when I got it (everyone else had one too [dad, mom, and not too sure about my bro] it was freakn' dark. Like, the sun had gone down instantly. And it had only been about 5 seconds. So somehow I rewound time to before the sunset had appeared and got my camera ready, and then I let time go back to normal and snapped a pic of the sunset. After that, the sky kinda...morphed I guess. There was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge moon there (I guess sorta like how in Halo you can see the other planets and such...or moons..or w/e they are...haven't played Halo in awhile =p) and it was shining really brightly and I immediatley (sp?) thought of Majora's Mask.
And then this part I don't remember very well....... Buuuuuuuuuuuut,....Oh yeah ok I remmeber. Ok so it suddenly turned to first person view and the sky was blue (kinda like how the sky is blue when you're at a beach) and the Majora's Mask moon suddenly fell down, very quickly. And then it was first-person view of the ocean, and the moon (regular moon) falling into it (it was the Pacific Ocean). And there was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge tsunami but no coasts got flooded (Cali, Oregon, etc)
And then, it was really crazy... But I was in my room and I looked outside at teh sky and it was purple.  :o And when I looked back at my computer screen my eyes felt like...vibratey I guess, and everything had like a staticy look to it. Then I looked back again and it happened again...
Then I went into the dining room and the sky was fine.
Then I was telling my mom "This means no more moon-walks.... D:" And no that's not the kind of moonwalk I'm talking about I mean walking at night with a full moon.  :P

Oh yeah and then I dreamed there was a black widow in the house and then I woke up from taht then I thought "omfg what if there's one in my room o_____________________________o" and then every little twitch my muscles made I like got scared to death  :P

Honestly, I wish I could contribute to this topic more... I don't really sleep anymore, if it makes any sense. I just rest... I never go into REM sleep or deep sleep. /:

Though in the last dream I recall having... Well, I don't know the specifics anymore (it was a week or so back) but there were fish... I don't know what kind. I went to go give some leftover chicken to my cat, Ra, and... I don't know, I went to the pier to feed him because he was by the pier. I walked by and it started to storm so I ran to get to the pier and bring him inside and feed him. I never got anywhere, I just ran in place and watched this giant shadow show up and eat someone who was fishing by the pier. I yelled and yelled and tried to run and get someone, anyone, and get my cat but nothing happened. I just stayed there. I finally turned to try and get my cat to follow me but I just saw half of his corpse being eaten by crabs, his eyes blank and staring and the giant fish came up and hit me and it hurt but I just remember my cat being dead and people dying and the storm...

I found out the next day that someone died in the bay area where we live that night. /:

Anywho, I had this weird dream last night where I was in an episode of "Just Shoot Me" or something like that, and Nina, Jack, and a few others were having some kind of competition where they had to come up with original ways to represent things like calculators or something weird like that.  I have no clue who won, though, as I woke up just after a Russian (at least, I thought she sounded Russian) model presented a felt board as her new thing and I pointed out that felt boards had already been invented.

In my dream, I was climbing a very steep hill covered in grass (I was crawling very fast, you can consider it climbing, crawling or running up the hill, whatever). The sky was not visible because the trees blocked the sunlight, only a green light flooded the forest. As I made my way up the hill, it became more steep until I felt I was about to fall back, then I see a friend in the top and I try to reach for her, but she gets her hands out of the way, as I think of the possibilities to prevent my fall, I think of grabbing her boobs but then I say "No way I'm doing that", so I just fall downhill.

As I roll down, I fall into the OoT Well. I am surrounded by the Dead Space monsters, but I'm not afraid and they are ignoring me, just crawling around, aimless. The roof of the well was higher than I remembered and it actually got lost into darkness, and there was a sort of underground river that passed through the well (I happened to fall in a wide area of the well). And there was a group of boy scouts and their leader was convincing to jump into a deeper whole and they just jumped one by one. I started yelling "Noooo!".

And that's all that I can remember.

Dreams about school/failing school are ridiculously common, especially for me this time of year :\

It's not fair... I mean, I'm still having dreams about High School when I graduated 2 years ago. ;_;

haha. I have only had a dream about high school once.
I was in physics class about to take my final exam, when some guy deccides to start belly dancing on me.  Pennies then proceed to fall out of his belly button. At this point I'm like... WTF? and he says for me to look at the pennies. On the back of every penny was an answer to a question on my physics final exam.
I woke up to realize that I was sleeping during the review for said exam. I laughed and then paid closer attention to what was going on.

I keep having this dream were me and my best friend wake up, and see this blue light outside of our window. We see it is coming from a creek that is about a 2 min. walk from his house. We walk down there and the blue light is coming from part of the water, and it is bubbling furiously also. After awhile a metallic pod arises from the light, and a grey, tall alien walks out. His hand reaches towards me, and it is covered in blue light and mist. I touch it, then a jolt goes through my body and a glowing blue gem is embedded in my hand, accompanied by my eyes glowing blue. I then get a vial and scoop-up the water, which then I later mix one drop of it with normal water, and it creates a garden wherever I water. I also had enhanced reflexes and can jump really high too. Not trying to sound spooky or anything, but it was amazingly vivid.

I keep having dreams about my exams.
In one of them I just slept through an entire day and missed it, and in another I was trying to get my mother to drive me to the exam hall and we were really late but we still had to stop halfway there so she could get out her iPod and watch "Back To The Future" on it.

I also dreamt I was in a motorcycle club but my bike broke and I couldn't afford a new one so I had to buy a normal pedal bike, then someone stole that and I had to get a Shetland Pony instead. Everyone in the club got annoyed because of it's loud hooves and I was kicked out until I got a bike.

The worst dreams are the ones you have after eating way too much before going to bed. It's a bit of a cliche, but I tend to find that if I have a late night meal, it really really doesn't help. And I like my food. But anyway, probably the most vivid one I had was where I walked into the local newsagents and bought myself a gaming magazine, and placed it down. I was having a conversation with the guy at the counter and he told me how his son was really into video games himself, and I told him I didn't play as much as some other guys but I also thought it was fun (which is not at all true, I play way too much) I then started to feel guilty for lying, and looking down at the floor I noticed that there was a mouse being eaten by a cockroach. It's little head was snapped back and this cockroach (Which was huge) was opening it's belly and eating. I was really disgusted and yelled at the guy to look. He just shrugged and continued talking about nothing important. I kept yelling at him and other people in the shop to look at it, as the cockroach moved up it's body, eating it until just it's skin and fur was left. And I just kept screaming and screaming and everyone ignored me and kept talking about random things that I didn't pay attention to, and kept trying to grab my hands and tell me about their day. Then I woke up.

I had considered on getting up and writing it down (Which I do with dreams sometimes, if I wake up and remember them i want to get them down quickly before I forget) but decided not to as it was kind of weird. And it stayed with me anyway. >.<

I had a dream about the OoT Gohma fight.  Well, it was similar to the OoT Gohma fight.  I hid in a doorway while I shot at the eye with the slingshot while it was on the ceiling, and every now and then I had to bring my focus down to the floor so I could take care of hatchlings.  Then when it fell to the floor, I had to run after it after it crashed into the wall so I could slash at the eye with my sword.  While it was running between the two walls, it dropped rupees (man, it would be sweet if Zelda bosses actually did that).  I'm not sure if I killed, however, as I woke up a little while ago.

So, yeah, Mags, and ZV.  Get your butts back to StS; it's almost dead, and so is Sheila.

You know you've been playing too much zelda when you remember a boss battle you had in your head in that much detail...  ;D

Seriously though, I'm quite impressed. I barely remembered the original boss that well, but then again I only played through oot once and continued until I 'completed' it by getting everything (Damn the golden skultulus took ages... and the last big poe just couldn't be found for quite some time)

Necropost!

But it's a Zelda-related dream, so it's cool.

It was somewhat similar to TWW.  I had the Master Sword, and I was beginning to fight the Helmaroc King at one point, but the setting was all wrong; it was something like a modern setting.  There were some dogs in it, and they could talk.  And getting to Ganon's Fortress (I think that's what it was), I had to cross an old, wooden bridge over some body of water, and one part of this bridge was just a narrow plank of wood that looked like it wouldn't have been able to support my weight, but somehow did.

;) That's odd. Sounds like a dream my friend told me about. Only it was Metroid, and there were cats speaking.   :P

OH YEAH!

I doubt any of you are familiar with Lostwinds (GO PLAY IT NOW!!!), but for those who are you probably know how easy it is to abuse poor 'lil Toku. Especially in the recently-released sequel; while walking on ice one small gust of wind will send the poor kid onto his face, then slide it up against the coarse surface (scratching sounds and all). Not to mention icy slopes to push him off.

So anyways I was playing Lostwinds 2 for a bit before bed the other night and had the strangest dream afterward.

I was standing on the icy cliff in Summerfalls (basically the starting point) and Toku was in front of me, with my back facing the cliff.

He made a sorta angry face and made that odd noise he makes whenever he gets hurt bad or dies. Over, and over, and over again. Then he started moving closer to me, still making the noise, but now louder. He eventually stopped right in front of me, so I had to look down. He made the noise one more time and, with a smirk on his face, pushed me off the edge.

Needless to say, I try my best not to hurt Toku anymore.  :-[

However, two nights ago I dreamt I had a girlfriend, however, she wasn't someone I had IRL.

Most people have a lot of trouble remembering dreams, but most likely you do dream. I can remember a lot of stuff in my dreams, sometimes recount it with perfect clarity and detail.

If you go into REM sleep (Which unless you had some weird neurological disorder is the case) you will dream. REM sleep is a basic function of the sleep cycle. Some people just have trouble reaching back into their consciousness for clues about stuff like that.

It is true that we forget most of our dreams, I usually can recall a dream perfectly while I'm in bed, but if I stand up I start to forget the details quickly to the point that the memories of the dream are very distorted

Then I have to sleep for a full year to get back my real memories XD

It's a common analogy that attempting to recall a dream is like cupping water in your hands-- the longer you hold on to it the less you have.

Also, I shall provide you with a dream I had recently that I found to be very unsettling for some reason.  I was out at some soon-to-be demolished parking garage structure and in the stereotypical shadowy part in a corner there was a portion of it that seemed to solidify into what can only be described as darker darkness.  The shape that had formed in the darkness began to amble towards me, and I, being the brave man that I am, hauled *** out of there.

...and of course it was inescapable.  At one point I had made it safely into the car that I just so luckily had, and I was about to turn the key (I had it in the ignition) when I heard a soft clicking noise from behind me.  I turned around and saw a half-eaten (like literally cut vertically halfway) face of a woman or late teenage girl, with long, black, ring-inspired hair that seemed to flow and grow and shorten in a terrifying, greasy yet not tangles mass.  The rest of the body was occluded in darkness but this thing was literally inches away from my face.  I kicked off the door (because of course I had superhuman strength) and ran through the door-shaped opening that was now the front left side of my car.
I turned as I ran to see it climb out of my car and I could see now that it had enormous arms and legs, not thick but long, pallid and mottled, with each arm and leg being about twice the length of a normal human's.  It moved started to skitter towards me, rapid and determined, with that hateful, dread-inducing intent that can only be conveyed in dreams and whispers.  I knew that I was only going to be able to run, that nothing I could do could prevent it from finding me and destroying me.  I was lucid at this point (but not beforehand), and I tried to wake myself up, tried to tell myself that it was a dream.  I was unable to.

I eventually found another car that I managed to start somehow, and while driving I saw the face (now mostly formed, actually) start to peer down from the roof of the car onto the windshield, smiling a wide, toothy, horrifying smile that sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it.  The eyes I don't recall much, but I imagine they were like a human's only just so slightly off as to cause extreme unease and a major mind****.  It didn't attempt to break the windshield, it just lay there, pressing its macabre face against the windshield, staring into my soul.  I tried to crash the car and of course that did nothing to it.

I ran to my house and hid in a completely empty room, and the second I closed the door I knew that somehow it was in the room.  I couldn't see anything, had no depth perception, had no idea what it was doing or where it was, whether it was inches away from my face or in the opposite corner of the room.  It was completely silent, it didn't breathe.  For the remainder of the dream, I just sat there and sobbed in despair.

I had been asleep for about 12 hours.

I haven't had a scary dream for ages, my dreams lately seem to be pretty real, I mean they are very unlikely and stuff but I never tend to dream of stuff that doesn't exist. If that makes sense.
Because I've been pretty focused on school and picking a uni lately that is what my dreams have revolved around, but they have mostly been very happy which is cool because in turn my dreams have made me happier. It's a win-win situation.
In one I was at this uni that where everything was decorated white, and the house I lived in was like me, then about 4 or 5 chinese guys. I don't think they spoke English but they were way fun.
Another one I had just last night involved the sixthform at my school (my year and the year above) all going on holiday to a tropical island together.

I had a weird dream last night.  In it I was watching the AFC Championship Game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Jets.  At the beginning of the game the Jets kicked off to the Colts, and back to return the kick was none other than Peyton Manning.  Then I was yelling at the TV, like "NO PEYTON MANNING YOU'RE THE QUARTERBACK; YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO RETURN KICKS!"  Then he caught the ball and started running.  When it looked like he was going to get tackled, he threw the ball up field, and I was all like "WHAT?!  YOU CAN'T THROW A FORWARD PASS ON A KICK RETURN!"  All of a sudden one of the Jets intercepted the pass, and then he ran it through the back of the wrong endzone and it ended up giving the Jets a safety.  I thought, wow these guys are idiots.  Then I woke up.

I had a dream last night where I was at an EB Games or a GameStop (not that it really matters; they're the same store) looking for PSP firmware, which turned out to be a cable that connects to a DS and allows the DS to act as a PSP controller.  Even in my dream, I couldn't possibly fathom why such an accessory was created.

Also, at the EB Games/GameStop, there was a poker tournement or some other card game going on, and both my Dual English and AP US History teachers (who are married to each other) where in it, as well as my sister, who had both of our dogs.  Apparently, Zoe had caused some kind of trouble, so I had to walk her home, and before the dream ended, my mom came home in our old blue van, which we no longer have.

Why a dog was allowed in the mall (which had a layout I had never seen before) in the first place is beyond me.

I had a dream I was in an anime. It dealt with basically sailing across the world, stopping at various houses for rest stops and whatnot. There was BGM, for some reason, and my companion was a black, talking pig with a pink face. He sounded like the pig-guy from Dragonball Z. And I looked like Tenchi from Tenchi Muyo! It was weird. I wanted to see how it ended, but my freakin alarm clock prevented me from doing so. I was mad.
Then there was one that took place in a very dark dimension. It was like the inner mind, and all this beams of light twisting and twirling within a certain radius. At the center of the chaos was a white, blindingly bright platform, with a heavily armored knight on it with the same radiance to boot. He resembled Exdeath from FFV, except brighter, and a more god-like voice. And he possessed powers that even Kefka and Sephiroth would have been jealous of. This dream seemed to represent some kind of inner conflict, I'm guessing.

Once, I had a dream that me, the main character guy from Avatar, and about 7 or so other people were walking a team of Siberian Huskies through a snow trail in the mountains, about 10 feet wide, and it was nighttime. The guy from Avatar (we'll just call him Jake, because I think that's what he was called in teh dream...) was leading us to a secret place that we could now see because we were old enough or something. o...O
When we finally got there, it was this huge ice or wicker (I cant remember =b) statue. Like seriously like it was a skyscraper or something. It was teh same height as the trees, maybe more. It was all lit up with pretty lights. And that's all I remember. XD
The next part, I was the same age as I am with a little brother and sister, and an awesome dad, and we were playing in the snow having a snowball fight. Our house was right next to the kindergarten schoolyard. So, while we're having a snowball fight I keep hearing lines from the previous dream that I can't remember. My dad throws a snowball at me and I THINK I try to catch it but I trip and fall. Then, I look up and there's a chainlink fence in front of me, with bushes behind it. There's an empty space where it seems like a bush could fit, and I see little kids building a snowman saying lines from the previous dream.
And then I was like, "So, it didn't happen at all? It was just a dream?"
So, technically, you could imagine it being like the ending of the Chronicles of Narnia... or maybe the end of OoT?

Last night I had an awesome dream.

I was playing the upcoming legend of Zelda game(It was as if I was in the game, but I'll spare you the nerdiness) and it was set after OoT I'm assuming in Adult Link's timeline. After Ganondorf escaped the "Infinity Realm", he was left in a weaker state; a pathetic shell of his former self. While he himself was weak, the Triforce of power still resided inside of him. Since his body was weak, and the Triforce of power couldn't use it, the Triforce made his mind powerful instead. The final boss wound up being a massive dragon that he was controlling with his mind. After the boss was defeated, ending credits, bla bla bla, you're able to continue from the point before you defeated him. Naturally, you just turn around and go where you please. It was set in the same Hyrule in Ocarina of Time, but the overworld from OoT is only a very small portion of the overworld in this game. You can take a boat to a different continent of Hyrule and junk.

Now here's the coolest part, and unfortunately the last part before I awoke for work. After you beat the dragon, you can head through a forest to get to an old shrine that was dedicated to (forgot the name ironically) the forgotten Goddess of chaos, and the missing piece of the middle of the Triforce. Apparently, the other Goddesses kicked her out because she was just a plain jerk. idk the story behind it even though it was my own freaking dream. That wasn't the cool part. When you get to the shrine, which is a stone statue of a Goddess in front of a giant tree, you can run around the large tree, and there's a gossip stone behind it. If you read it, it says something that I really can't remember, and then rockets off. Behind it is a drawing on the tree of a scarecrow and two fairies. Oh yeah. Bomb it, and jump inside the tree down into a deep hole. After navigating through the familiar entry to another realm, you emerge in Clock Town. It's a bit different though.

I don't recall looking at the moon, but I know that the tower was built. If you go to the laundry pool, there is a little cottage where Kafei's hideout used to be. Kafei and Anju live there, and Kafei is an adult. I don't know why, but everyone freaking recognizes you. It's my own dumb dream sorry :P
The kid that runs the bank is old now, and he kept your masks for you. The only place I went outside of the town was the Goron village, because I loved it. The swordsmith still lives in the same house outside of the village, but the big guy had died. There was a big ol grave behind the house. It was so cool, and I wanted to type about it this morning, but I had to work.
In all honesty, I really wish that were a true bonus element to the game. That would literally make my dreams come true. You know, not a full on separate buy-able game, but just a bonus add on to a game. I hope you were all as entertained by my dream as I was.

My dream last night was also video game related.  It wasn't much, really; I was at a character creation screen or something because I was assigning stats a value.  I assume the game was a Pokemon game because the stats I was assigning values to were HP, ATK, DEF, SPD, S.ATK, and S.DEF.  Wouldn't it be awesome if Pokemon really had a feature like that?

Heh heh.

I had a dream that while I was making dinner for myself and a guy friend spending the night, in pops a crazed murderer with an axe in his hands and several glass jars and bottles dangling from his belt. Well at first I was just freaked out about the axe so I ran into another room. My guy friend disappeared somewhere so I had no help. I peeked out through a crack in the door, and the axe-man was opening one of the jars. Out flies a yellow butterfly with a scorpion tail hanging from its body. I had some bug spray in a febreeze-like can and sprayed it frantically. Axe-man was pretty confident that he wouldn't have to take over anytime soon so he just stood there laughing. I ran from room to room(they were all really cluttered) and finally landed in the kitchen. I grabbed a frying pan and beat it over and over until it lay on the counter, unmoving. Then, I fell on my knees. Axe-man had slashed his axe into my shoulder. He grabbed the butterfly-scorpion-thing, put its stinger between two fingers, and pierced it over my heart.
                                          THE END

Was it, like, cold when you were sleeping?

I had a beautiful dream last night.  I was in a bus of some sort, and we were driving past an outdoors convention with plenty of Naruto cosplayers when a great big flock of eagles and seagulls start flying over the cosplayers and just start crapping on them.

I lol'd.

I had a horrible nightmare last night. I won't elaborate due to inappropriate instances, but it was horrible and I'm afraid to go to sleep tonite. I've never had one that bad before. When I woke up, I flinched at every noise and before long I went into the kitchen, turned the light on, got some orange juice, and cried. I got out my notebook and a pen and filled the entire page with nothing but the words "Just a dream"

Oh my God! :o

That's really bad?
I just had a dream about Scooby Doo, but holy crap I've never had a dream so bad that I had to write down that it was just a dream.

Yeah, my nightmares are me being attacked by wild animals, and more often than not they're just weird nightmares.

Mm so I had this pretty... weird dream last night. (I should totally start a dream journal because of how lame/awesome some of my dreams are)

I went to a... taxidermy zoo? They had animals there, but it was also this celebration of taxidermy and using dead animals for things. Anyway, that's not the point, since it was so fleeting. No, what started it was this... restaurant in the zoo. It allowed one to clean and eat your own meat. In front was a man in a white suit with a pile of flayed rabbits, inviting people inside.

They had a dispenser for dead animals, and someone would hand you a dead rabbit or deer or turkey or whatever. And they would slit the skin just above the neck, exposing the muscle/meat. Before you began, you had to take a bite out of the base of the neck to "kill it." Then you went to a man who would skin the animal for you. And then a man who would take the intestines out. And then a man who put the animal on a machine, which would suck the meat off and leave you with a bunch of bloody bones.

And then they gave you a raincoat and led you to a landfill, and this landfill had so many... conveyers, with people using them as escalators.  With dead animals just laying by their feet as they held their own animal bones, waiting to toss it. The landfill itself was just FILLED with skulls and skeletons and smelled of rotting flesh. Not even seagulls or vultures hung around.

I got lost and didn't know where to dump my animal at, and I eventually was scolded by staff, who threatened to make me the next meal.

Wow Fisk, you always have very... interesting... dreams.  I'm jealous.

Last night I had a very interesting dream.  It took place in the hidden valley of Kaz.

Kaz was shrouded in mist and hidden from anyone smart enough not to climb down the two mountains that formed the valley-- both of the mountains were treacherously rocky and filled with hateful predators in every nook and cranny.  I climbed down the northmost mountain, miraculously avoiding the predators and managing to cling to the near-shear rock face the entire way down.

When I reached the bottom, I came across a small village, shrouded in mist with a sign sticking out of the ground that read "Kaz'Ashir" -- loosely translated in the language of my imagination, this means Realm of the Weather God.  I had apparently reached the village just in time for their annual celebration.  There were massive banners everywhere covered in the same language as earlier, each saying something to the effect of "festival of light".

I wandered the streets, marveling in the festivities, until I came to the home of the local chieftain.  I knocked on the side of the doorway, and was admitted in.  I asked him what the celebration was about, and he answered.
"Our village lies in this basin, coated with water, but it never rains.  It is against our religion to harvest the mist that surrounds us, because that mist is made of the tears of our ancestors, our family, our friends, and all manner of lost souls.  This festival was started to help send those souls back to the heavens, and to bring us rain at last.  It is done every year on the summer solstice, as this is the holiest of days for our god, Kazo."

I nodded my comprehension, thanked him, and was about to leave, when he called out, "You are a stranger to these lands.  We were beginning to think one would not come this year."  I was confused.  He elaborated.  "Since the beginning of our festival, a new soul has always emerged from the mists to join us in our festivities.  He is given the highest honors and is the centerpiece of the festival.  This is why I was not surprised by your arrival."

He put his arm around me, walked me outside his home, and heralded my arrival.  The festival-goers cheered, welcoming me with open arms and adorning me with jewels of all kinds, and when I looked down I was already in a robe suited for royalty.  They carried me to a throne in the middle of the town where I sat, trying my best to look humble yet regal.

"Let the finale commence!" the chieftain cried, and the citizens flocked into their homes, boarded their windows, and stared out at me through any gaps available.  Their leader donned a strange suit of rubber, and pulled from somewhere two massive live wires.  I became frightened, and started to struggle, but in all the celebration I never noticed that my hands and feet were bound.  He looked upon me with an appreciative smile, and said "Thank you for your sacrifice," then shouted to the heavens, "spirits!  Your ticket to god has been paid in blood!  Return now to whence you came, and be free!  The time of salvation is upon you and us all!"

He thrust the wires into my flesh, and the resulting electrical charge ignited all the moisture in the air, frying the entire valley.  I died instantly, and left my body to watch the resulting miracle.  The air was clear of all mist, and massive stormclouds brewed in the sky from the sudden evaporation.  Rain poured with tremendous fury, very rapidly filling the reservoirs and canteens laid out by the villagers.  As I began to ascend to the heavens, freed from my mortal shell, the villagers slowly crept out of their homes and waved at me, cheering and shouting my name.  I may have been killed by these people, but I was their savior.

A very odd dream indeed.

Last night I felt like I got little to no sleep. Why you ask? Because I had a nightmare. Not just any nightmare though. Let me tell you guys what's up- I love nightmares. They're thrill rides where everything is okay in the end. Like a scary movie you can live, and wake up in your bed when it's over. But this nightmare... This wasn't cool at ALL because I couldn't wake up from it- or rather whenever I thought I had, I really hadn't. It was the most vivid and terrifying nightmare I've ever had because it's the only one I've ever been unable to wake from. Everything I'm about to tell you felt like it was really happening- like there was no element that allowed me to realize I was in a dream- it was too chillingly realistic. Here's what happened.

* * *

I was going through some of my magic cards in my room. My friend called and asked me to look through the shoe-boxes for four "Giant Growth" cards. That was fine, since I was building a dragon deck, and was looking through the shoe-boxes anyhow. My mom busted into my room and exclaimed that the Queen of England had just died. This was huge news, even though she was like in her mid 80's and it was bound to happen soon. I rushed to their room and the TV was static and they were both gone. Suddenly, the world ended. A lot of people were gone, and the news ran a broadcast even though some of them were missing too. I walked outside, and it was dark like it should be, but there were teenagers everywhere. My phone was buzzing with my friends calling and asking me to meet them in the park. That was fine, I just had to go get my sister.

I ran back up the stairs and she was gone too. I didn't want to be alone, so I threw some clothes on and drove to the park. Turned out I drove to the wrong park, and had to double back to the other park (these are the kinds of things that make a dream feel more realistic- mistakes). I got to the park and there were teenagers everywhere. They had drinks, and there was food, and it was like a party. My friends Sean and David found me, and Sean's girlfriend was with him. She, for some reason was really calm. We discussed what happened while we walked with her (I don't know where she was going) but we lost track of her. Sean was worried about his girl the same way I was worried about mine. I couldn't get a hold of her, and she lives about a half hour away. I was really worried about her, and I was beginning to have thoughts about what happened. All the good people had been taken to heaven- the rapture had happened, and I was left behind. I realized that the "party in the park" was full of sluts and douche bags- the kind of party I'm thankful I never found myself at. Things started to spin, and I realized I was in a dream- a nightmare.

I woke myself up, and I was back in my bed- the bad news, I was still in the clothes that I had on during the dream (but I didn't realize that right away). It was like two in the morning, but I didn't care. I was really shaken up by the dream and I walked to my sister's room. She was still there. I went to my parents' room next- and they were both up watching TV. I was pretty shocked about that, since it was like two in the morning and they didn't have lives. They, for some reason, were astounded to see me awake as well. I sat down on their bed and started to tell them what happened in the dream. I opened my cell phone to text my friend and there was a pentagram where the background of my phone normally was. I instinctively dropped the phone in shock, and now I felt like crying. THAT really freaked me out, because I'm a pretty dedicated Christian. I turned around and my dad was where my mom was before- and he was also where he was originally. A doppleganger of my dad was sitting next to him staring at me with my mother's concern.

I got out of bed and grabbed my head. I then realized that I was still dreaming. I tried to wake up again, but I couldn't. I was trapped inside my head. I stumbled into my parent's closet (which is pretty big, about the size of a small room). My knees hit the floor as I held onto my head. I didn't know why I couldn't wake up, and I was so scared. I noticed a light in the corner of the room behind some clothes that were on hangers. I moved the clothes away and there was a kid sitting there texting. I couldn't tell who he was, but he looked up and said "hi." I fell through the floor into a pit of darkness, and I fell and fell until I hit some kind of floor. It hurt. It hurt. I've never felt extreme amounts of pain in my dreams. I was pretty well freaked out at this point. I didn't know what was going on, but I was hearing demonic laughter. Laughter- I was starting to cry.

Then I woke up. Thank God almighty it was light outside. It was around 9 am and I was really shaken. I was the only one home, but I was alright. I couldn't go back to sleep. That wasn't an option. I didn't want to get trapped in my head again, because it turns out that my head is a scary place. I didn't know what to do, so I just got up and got some cereal. What's even scarier than that? I looked up dream meanings about what causes you to not be able to wake up from a nightmare. The answer I got?

"It's because you're having an out of body experience."

Yahoo answers.
I typed in "What does it mean when you can't wake up from a dream?" into the Google search box, and it's the second link down.

DAAAAANG

What I would give to have an out of body experience of my own. My Dad had one when he was 14. He went right through the wall.

Which reminds me...

I had a dream once where someone broke into our house and shot my sister. My Dad then tied the guy up when he wasn't looking, pinned him to a chair, and handed me a revolver to "finish the job". I said I didn't want to. I wasn't, for some reason, feeling any emotion towards this man even though he had wounded (or killed, I don't know) my sister. After several attempts, he finally gave up, stepped back, and without hesitation, blew the guys brains out in front of me. Once again, I showed no emotion.

I'm really glad I woke up right after that. Most of my dreams always seem to involve murder, war, sex, or school for some reason. I'm afraid to look up why.

So, the night before Christmas Eve, I dreamt I was in a plane.  I woke up, but went back to sleep, where I dreamt the plane was about to crash into a city; Washington D.C., I think.  I woke up again and went back to sleep again, where I finished the plane dream by dreaming it was out of the city and climbing back up in the air.

Then on the night before Christmas, I couldn't remember any dreams, just the impression that my sub-conscious was trying to have several dreams at once.
