I was just wondering what the various Zelda games would be like if their styles were reversed? Like The Wind Waker was realistic, and Twilight Princess was cartoony?
I don't think it'd matter, though Windwaker would certainly be appreciated more...
I'd love to see a TP-styled Majora's Mask. Especially them there Deku... X3 and Zora Link.
Hey, all I want is to see a 3D Vaati. Then all my dreams will have come true! :D
TP Vaati...
... X3
Whoa, what if they made a TP-styled GBA/DS game? Like... sort of like TMC, but with TP graphics? It'd be hard, but I'd like to see it.

Yes. It would be so awesome to be one of those gorons.

That isn't possible, unless they make a new handheld. Even the best looking DS games are still a good bit worse than an N64, and the GBA can't even do 3D.
Spriting, man.
Sprites.
As in.... not 3-D? You know, with a TP style on it? I for one would like to see an attempt at it.

As long as the sprites are fairly good, I think that would be pretty cool.

TP is a 3D game. You can't make a 3D game if you are using sprites. Sprites are a 2D element.
The Wind Waker is three dimensional.
The Minish Cap is two dimensional.
Do they both share the same style? Yes, they do.
Twilight Princess is 3-D.
The game I would like to see is in 2-D.
You get where I'm going with this?
If not, then go play A Link to the Past and then play The Minish Cap. The graphics, although both 2-D, are nothing alike.
That is what I would like to see.
Oh, I thought you ment with TPs grafic ability not style. I hate when we get in pointless aguements becuse of misunderstandings.
I think that the next DS Zelda (not PH) should use MM and OOTs grafic style instead of WWs.
You mean anime style?
As for style, I think FSA is the TLOZ that impressed me most. The combination of a 2d world a la ALTTP with 3d effects either from TWW or unique to this game. Spiced up with TWW/TMC style characters, the game is a visual jewel.
I actually am quite curious how TAOL would be with TMC art. Especially the bosses, like that horsehead guy and the boss right before Dark Link.
I would like 3D everything, but if I could only pick one, I'd go with Links Awakening. It was so good, and they could make a really beautiful island out of it. I really want to see Dethl in 3D, and a good backstory for him(her, it?). And an improved final form.
I would like to see a 3d remake of every 2d game made so far. That would be cool.
*sigh*
The decline of respect for 2D is depressing.
I'm not saying I don't like 2d games, I would just like to see some 3d remakes of the old 2d games.
And 2d remakes of 3d games?
Wouldn't that be a bit counter-intuitive? It would, quite literally, be taking a big step backwards. The 3-D games are too detailed and complex to be remade in 2-D. It would ruin the original greatness of the 3-D games, methinks. Not to mention your gameplay possibilities become much more limited. Twilight Princess, for example, would be impossible to make into 2-D. I would, however, like to see what would happen if a 2-D game was remade in 3-D. I think making a game like A Link To The Past 3-D would greatly enhance the game experience, and expand the original game's possibilies, gameplay-wise.
If there had to be just one 3d remake, I would have to say LTTP, since it is one of my favorites among the 2d games.
I'd like to see 3-D LA, really... I love the wind fish, dreams, owls... well, as you can see, it's really one of my favourites... definitely my favourite 2D game.
Though a 3-D Minish Cap would be pretty cool, too. I love the minish, and... well, I think it'd be awesome to see a 3-D Ezlo, personally.
If I was going to make one 2D game 3D it would be MC. I always thought it would look cool to be minish sized in a 3D envirment.

I repeat myself: The decline of respect for 2D is depressing.
The 3D games are not "greater" than the 2D games.

Boohoo, no more L-targeting. Name one feature in the 3D games, that is vital for the gameplay and cannot be overcome by making some slight alterations.
The only real problem I'd see in a 2-D remake would be the cutscene ability. I mean, the ones in the current 2-D games are good, but there's something about seeing them in 3-D that makes people feel more...
I like the 2-D cutscenes, though.
