I've been coming to the desert for over a year, now, and things here have changed alot since then. The desert, to me, has become less active and fun than it used to be. I think it may be high time that I leave here.
So I wanted to make a topic and say goodbye to the desert. I'll not be gone entirely, just be posting alot less. I may pop in every once in awhile.

A)The forums have gotten very boring. No good topics to post in anymore.
B)Some of the members, some newbs and some veterans, fall compared to the ones a year ago, like Evilbob. I only know one on the list, however, and I won't tell.
C)He lacks a reason to come here anymore, as with the complete overflow of new members his importance is decreasing.

One of the funniest people ever, who left a while back.
i just joined recently so i dont notice the changes that happened.. i try to be funny but im more of a relaxed person.. and thats hard to be funny when your like that, but im still fun :P
Grrr. It's a shame to lose a veteran member. It's really sad to see you go Masterkey. You've been a good friend to me throughout the time you've been here.
At least he won't be completely gone...besides, maybe he'll stay once Ask Ezlo starts up!

umm i noticed zelda related stuff has gotten really less active. its because everyones sick of talking about OoT, the hype for TP is over.. maybe when PH comes out zelda sites will be more active.. thats what someone told me

yea i'va been discussing this with MK for awhile now, i agree with one of his points, a lot of the good topics died, which is why i revived the relationship topic, fat lot of good that did though right?

I try to revive them as well. It just seems as though most of it has been discussed. I don't really like starting topics anyways, unless it's really important.
Isn't necroposting looked down upon for no explained reason? I try not to just for that purpose. ???
Bringing back a random discussion that has been completed is bad, ones that haven't been not so.
But it's really stupid to jump on someone simply because they revive an old topic. I mean, we're not even giving it a chance to a once great topic.
And, as said, the only time necroposting can be looked down upon is if it is a topic that has been completed ans no longer needed. Ones like in the Forum Games section can never completely die, as they games and can be continued forever.
i was on a few other sites before i came here one said no reviving dead topics at all :P the other said make sure you say something about the topic, dont just post to spam.. so thats why i never post in a topic unless the last post is from yesterday.. how does reviving topics work here?
You can go back to a certain page of a certain board on the forum and just post in it to revive the topic. But saying anything like "WOW This topic is OLD" is something that would be reprimanded, but I wouldn't do that in most cases if it is an authentic attempt to revive discussion.

This just saddens me, and this song I'm listening to isn't helping. I don't like people leaving. I've been here for awhile. I agree, it has changed and isn't as active as before, but I could never leave this site. I wouldn't care if I got banned from this other site I go to, but... I have friends here, and... :'( :'(
