i am starting a thread where u come up with ur own good/bad zelda game ideas. post the titles here and explain. for exampl:
BAD IDEA:
the legend of zelda; hyrule underground
zelda hits skatebords as link and friends board through hyrule! (takeoff from tony hawk underground)
100 years in the future, long after ganondorfs time, A Gerudo male is born...His name is Zartin! He was in his crib, when an invisible force crept in the window... A Gerudo felt a dark aura she had not felt in a long... long time... All of a sudden the baby awakens and looks at the man at the end of his crib. The man spoke in a familiar tone...Zartin... You have a duty to your people...
You Must see to the death of the man that destroyed your Father...
You must seek and destroy the wielder of the legendary sword of evils bane...
You must destroy the hero of time!!The baby went into a trance, and fell asleep.... For when he awakened he would have but one desire... To destroy the hero of time!! A Gerudo maid went up the steps to check on the young baby... All of a sudden she bursts through the door of the gerudo mayors office... And she said, that she saw the wisping white form of Ganondorf at the foot of the baby's crib...Legend of Zelda: Ganondorfs hier!

ya' Know, Zelda Party might not be so bad now that I think about it. YEAH! IT WOULD ROCK!! Think about it. Different game boards, like one is lake hylia, and one is Gerudo vally, Death mountain, Hyrule, etc.! Think about it hard! instead of coins you get rupees! and in place of stars you get like a triforce piece or somthin! And bowser spaces would be ganondorf spaces! Vaati, skullkid, the possibilities are endless!! I would definitly buy it! Its not such a bad idea after all! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I still don't like it, however. Even the word 'party' doesn't belong in medieval Zelda. No, sir, it doesn't. :P And before you mention that 'party' at the end of OoT, that's a feast.
The Legend of Zelda: Scrolls of the Past
Centuries have passed since a legendary hero of old (LoZ Link, if you wonder ;)) slew the evil tyrant, Ganon, and ended the Age of Darkness.
Now, however, have the evil sorcerer Tyrakan, a long-time worshipper of Ganon, found a way to bring the ancient nemesis of Hyrule back.
In order to stop the wizard Link has to search for eight magical scrolls that will, once all has been gathered, show him to the resting place of the legendary Master Sword, deep within the forests of the monster roamed Ancient Hyrule (that should be the Hyrule from LoZ, ALttP and OoT).
You may not like this because it seems that Ganon won't actually be in it, but that's not my idea. Notice how, ever since AoL, all final bosses have always had different forms or there has been more than one battle.
Here it is two battles. First is against the wizard, and then when you have defeated him, with his last breath, he finish the ritual to fully resurrect Ganon.
One interesting difference from other games in the series is that Zelda doesn't get kidnapped. That gives the game more room for an evolving friendship between her and Link.

how about- a lord of the rings spin off-
zelda -Return of the King
its basicly like the movie but ur link and the hylians are defending the castle- the zoras attack the mercinarys that come in the boats- and the gorons smash at the olifonts or summin- and u get to control each of the sages in its own races' battle.
then u get to charge link on horseback with a thousand other hylians down the hill and massicre all of ganondorfs minions.
how kool whould that be?

Sounds like a rip-off, and it'd go against what makes Zelda so special. No, Zelda should remain a dungeon-exploring adventure.

this is outside of hyrule Link is trying to figure out were that Shadow Link figure came from ( not the shadow link from OOT , the Boss from AOL) Because while he was fighting he Noticed it was not another image of him it was ANOTHER person Link wants to know were that person came from, why was it after him and why did that person LOOK LIKE HIM ???

Wow. I've been too busy lately; so much so that I wasn't able to reply to this sooner.
Evilslayer, your idea a couple of posts back sounds really similar to my own game idea. Though I should note that the events are slightly different, particularly because I really enjoy timeline theories, and my main one is really, really weird. So weird that I'm not going to tell you guys what it is, but I will say that it supports the Split Timeline Theory.

The Legend of Zelda: Staff of Time
Seven years have passed since Link returned from his future journeys for the last time, true. But more important is that it has been almost seven years since Link saved the alternate reality of Termina from destruction by Majora's Mask. It is most unfortunate that, in all those seven years, he never stopped to consider who 'Majora' was.
Majora, ancient wizard and servant of the Dark King Ganon, once had his soul trapped within the confines of his mask. When Link defeated the Mask, as the Mask Salesman said "the evil...left the mask". Majora's soul was able to escape and return to his un-aging body, and for seven years he has slowly regained his powers.
Now the wizard has set his sights on the goal that has for so long eluded him: the revival of Ganon. Once he obtains the ashes of the King of Darkness, he can use certain spells to revive his master. But therein lies the problem. For when Ganon was last killed, the Sage of Destiny stepped forward and took the ashes to another alternate world. That is where Majora has to go. And it to this land, the world of Wondera, that Link must head to in order to stop this mighty threat...

You'll probably see a bunch of obvious contradictions in there, but not if you follow my timeline! ;) Told you it was weird.

But I promise I didn't copy you; I've got a ton of stuff worked out if you really need proof. My wizard doesn't come from the past. ;) But, thinking of it, he'd be more fitting to be a priest, like Agahnim (that Agahnim is a wizard is a mistranslation ;)), because Ganon is a daemon.
Maybe he comes from an evil order that worships Ganon? I have a theory that that's the case with Agahnim, as well.

And, sorry Medli, but the fact is that we have to explain our games! Provided that they're serious games...I'm dead serious about Staff of Time! I've worked for some time on it, and in my not-so-humble opinion it could be quite good!

Staff of Time would be a great game, Alpha. If only Nintendo took fan-made ideas seriously. I can think of a lot of RPG's I've been in that are Zelda related, but quickly become so different that they wouldn't fit. Those are pretty much the only Zelda games I've ever thought up. A few of them can be read at s4.invisionfree.com/Stronghold_Forums (http://s4.invisionfree.com/Stronghold_Forums), in the RPG section. They really are too long, so I can't post them here :P And they were group efforts.
It shows that you put time into yours. Just get into Nintendo's crack team of writers and develop us a good game ;D

I have quite a few Zelda fan fics going on, myself. For starters, there's The Emerald Pearls, which is an alternate universe story where I've mixed elements from several of the games (like the town from AoL, and Link from TP). In that story I'm at Chapter 7.
Then there's two unnamed stories. One is the start of a saga, based on the era of the NES games. I actually have more plans for the second trilogy than the first, though. :P
The other is another alternate universe story, slightly inspired by The Arrandin Trilogy by Marcus Herniman. Like Kellarn, the hero of The Arrandin Trilogy, Link is the son of an Earl in this fan fic. Although, not the youngest one like Kellarn. His the oldest one, and theirfore heir to the Earldom.
That story is going to be looooong. I aim to write possibly more than a thousand pages. ;) And it will feature Ganon both in Gerudo form and in daemon form, although the Gerudo will only have a small part of Ganon's spirit.
i write stories too! i've even done a zelda comic but it's a comic with stick people!lol
