Ocarina of Time had somthing to it that set it apart from the other games, of all series.

i think it was because it summed up hyrule very well

all the races, and magic. all the terain, and wheapons. the game itself was a masterpiece.

put together very well. but i have to say that WW was good too (not as good as oot)

yea and it was one of the originals

and it was GAME OF THE YEAR 1998

no,best game miyamoto has ever made!BUT tp will definetly be better so tp is the best game ever made!

you actually dont know that! Everyone thought WW would be better than OoT but it wasnt! So your not too sure about that!

You mean to say it's original? The story is almost identical to ALttP. The Sages are named after towns in AoL. And why are there exactly three spells? Looks way too much like ALttP there, except the spells in ALttP are MUCH better.

Personally, I can't really see what's so special about OoT. Sure, it's a great game. But definitely not the best, in my opinion. What it did good, other games did better.

I still prefer LoZ and AoL over all of the other games, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

really?? Buy the colectors edition. ;) Old games may not look like it, but they can be pretty fun! and OoT did everything better than the other games. Thats why it is the best selling game for N64.

like i said, oot is my fav, but u cant forget the classics. ;D

ive never played the oricles or the 4swords for gc.

four swords is not a classic. ive never played the oracles, but i plan to have my friend send his game to me so i can beat it. he has ages. which is better?

im not saying 4swords is a classic. i said the classics are good. but i also said which games out of zelda i never played b4

 when i say that OOT is an original i mean like its the first one that you feel like your in hyrule and its got a lot of new things ie: horse, changeing age, more mini games and morre freedom

oot is always going to be the best N64 game ever no matter what. ;D

oot will be a game of history. i've only seen pics of old loz games,they look wierd

perfect dark was a good n64 game , as was goldeneye

OoT is defiatley the best. It is the one I grew up with. I like windwaker and it is not the cel shaded graphics that put me of but WW is slightly to short. We'll just have to see how TP does now.

TOO SHORT? it takes ages to trec across the ocean , and all of the side quests are sickening.

Or more. Aonuma said two-three times bigger, or more. That was way before the first delay, so just imagine how it'll be when it's released in autumn. :P And I assume that he meant longer. Had the Overworld been 2-3 times bigger it'd still be pretty small.

nah, even though i haven't finished any zelda game, i would say ww is short.......

Actually, it does take longer to complete TWW. The world record of completing TWW is two hours longer than the one of completing OoT. ;)

It only takes longer to complete. TWW has that enormous ocean, y'know. And the Triforce Quest. ;)

Meh, so what? Gohma in OoT you can kill in five seconds, and Dodongo in two hits. Barinade, Phantom Ganon, Volvagia and Twinrova takes a little longer to beat, but Morpha and Bongo-Bongo can be defeated within seconds.

It takes a lot longer time to beat the bosses in TWW, and the Overworld is massive compared to OoT Hyrule. At least 3-4 times bigger. And you have to change the direction of the wind all the time.

And backflipping doesn't help to move quickly across the ocean, like it does across the field in OoT.

Meh, OoT barely has any nostalgia at all. TWW has quite a bit (especially under the ocean). Therefore in my opinion TWW is better.
