Here we go, some of you may be horribly, emotionally scarred for life by this...
They've made a second high school musical! :(
This means several more years of Disney mind control of young preteens through the use of subliminal messages hidden in the songs.
Also more disney junk on my family's shared Ipod...
If you need me, I'll be in my nukular defense bunker.
... My sister went out and bought some High School Musical Two shoes shortly before sitting down and seeing the movie.
I don't think we need that many reasons to hate the Disney channel. My sister has seen every episode of Corey in the House, Hannah Montana, and the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She repeats the lines as they say them.
It's time like this I drown out the sounds with some NINJA OF THE NIGHT on repeat.
Thank god my drama teacher declared her hatred of musicals (and apparently, puppies, children and chocolate. Evil dictator- she even had the long coat)
My sisters are watching it in the living room right now, so I can kinda hear it from my room (note to self: turn music up louder). They recorded it on the DVR, so they'll keep it on the recorded list as long as possible. I already told them in advance that if it mysteriously disapears, it wasn't me.
Like the shadow serpent, silence is my veil.
Yes, and with precision of the cobra
Ninjas kill and leave no trail
We know ancient ancient stuff, and we have fun.....things up.
Precious Roy, Precious Roy, making lots of suckers out of girls and boys.
I love that stuff. And with something as 'popular' as High School Musical, why wouldn't Disney completely sell out and expose to every known piece of merchandise?
I've known about this forever. Also, they've already got a third one planned. I'm not going to start talking about my Disney Channel problems or I'll never be able to stop.
I never really liked High school the musical, but I still do like disney, they got some funny shows...
i dont watch anything disney, my little brother doesnt watch the station either. nor does my big brother ??? duh.
I can't believe that so many people watch disney around the world, every show is obnoxious.
The lead actors are usually worse than the support actors, especially on Zack and Cody. The twins suck, they overexaggerate everything.
I watched the first ten minutes, but only because I didn't think my parents would appreciate me eating ice cream in my room. I was disgusted with the fact that it was called High School Musical 2 when only the first five minutes or so took place in high school. I was also disgusted that they didn't have a final exam on their final day of the school year. What kind of devil school is that? Then there was the fact that they crammed like three songs into those ten minutes that I sat down to watch. I know it's a musical, Disney, but musicals do not have random people bursting into song every two minutes. I say we pass a law where Disney is limited to three songs per movie; one song at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end. And they have to be background music. One song may have lyrics, but it can't be sung by one of their actors/actresses.
That bad huh?
By the way, I'm still waiting for my high school to randomly break into perfectly choreographed song and dance.

That would be cool maybe the first or second time, but every ten minutes would be living hell.
Especially if the lyrics weren't clever or crafty and just openly stated what they thought while upholding weak and overexaggerated story morals.
We don't have a Disney channel over here, and I can't say I mind. I never have been a Disney fan to begin with, but the past couple of years I've really hated everything connected to the company. I'm hoping it will become better soon.
Oh my god my sister insists on watching High School Musical at least 5 times.... she made me miss Bleach.... :'(
Guys, for the past few years, if there's one thing we know about Disney, it's that they LOVE franchising, even if they have no chance at being successful commercially and/or critically. From now on, I say that if there's a Disney movie out there (unless it's Pixar; Toy Story is the only franchise that, I think, they made to date), expect a sequel. I mean, look at all the Disney franchises out there in which they expanded on the stories in order to increase sales:
The Lion King
Peter Pan
Pirates of the Caribbean (I LOVE this franchise, though; don't get me wrong!)
The Emperor's New Groove
The Fox and the Hound
Bambi
Beauty and the Beast
Mulan
Aladdin (I really like these movies, too. ^_^ )
Brother Bear (It's interesting to note that Disney considered the first movie a failure financially, but they went with making a sequel for it anyway.)
The Little Mermaid
And most likely more that I forgot to mention/to come...
Really, this should come as no surprise to us. Disney has become more and more predictable with its franchising that we should be able to see future sequels coming from a few miles away!
What happened to the good ol days? Disney used to be awesome. But ever since old Walter kicked the bucket... :(
I've known they make lots of sequels and stuff... but I wouldn't mind if, you know, they're good.
Like Fox and the Hound II? Oh dear god, it's upbeat and totally not depressing.

My name is Cody :'(
They've sullied my once honorable name :'(
Who made watership down? Now that's depressing...
Kid's cartoon? up yours!
WHich is the point, they used to produce HIGH Quality stuff, but no longer.
Disney sucks, they can't make anyhting good anymore. The old drawer of tapes I have are all but a memory. They dont make stuff like that anymore. Now they make crap.
AND SINCE WHEN IN BLODDY HELL DID THEY COME OUT WITH A FOX AND THE HOUND SEQUEL?!
I didnt know that! Did they botch that franchise too?! I actually liked the first one alot!!!! :'( :'(
It's kind of a bit extreme when it's been dubbed The Fox and the Hound II when it's actually more or less a midquel. ::)
But I also really liked the first one. You know, what I hardly get is that just about one of the VERY FEW Disney-based franchises that's worth continuing is Kingdom Hearts, but do we see a movie for it made yet? No. Of course, Square Enix needs a say in it before development would begin, but still... The whole thing's quite ironic.
We need a Kingdom Hearts anime. Forget a movie.
NO! Don't! Let! Disney! Do! The anime! They will make it all kiddy and take out all the violence and everything. Have them show it on a different channel...
They would work with 4Kids. And who would want that?

what he said, must not let Disney ruin, XD
I wouldn't mind if Viz, or FUNimation did the anime. But for the love of God, not 4Kids.
Once again, agreed. :D
or ADV... Well, more like manga. But still. ADV gave Okita from Peacemaker Kurogane a male voice actor. I mean, I wouldn't mind, usually, since, you know, Okita's a guy and all.
But...

Well, his voice is a bit manly for his character... it bugs me.
i think its better when they give the softer guy characters a manly voice, like Kurama
